Called them around 9am they returned my call within an hour then was at my house 10minutes from there callback .. Rick was professional and fixed my issue quickly as my furnace never kicked on after the power outage .
Throughout the process of planning and installing the new minisplit system for our beach house, Rick Silvia was terrific. We couldn't be happier with the air conditioning provided, and anticipate that the heat will be ideal as well. I am not tech savvy, so I occasionally have questions, and Rick always gets back to me very quickly, and even stops by if I need help.
Very honest. Hard to find
Rick replaced our 20+ year old heating & A/C system. He gave us a fair quote, he arrived on a timely basis and he kept in constant communication with regard to the progress of the job. He kept the site clean and the installation was "tidy." He and his crew are respectful and a joy to work with! We recommend Rick and Silvia Service Company!

Rick just finished up installing a ducted mini split system on our second floor and I couldn’t be happier with the system and his work. He put in a ductless unit a few years ago on our 1st floor and it’s worked so great that we asked about our second floor. Not only did he instead recommend the one ducted system (mounted in the attic with just small vents on the ceiling of every 2nd floor room) but he told us about these massive rebates Mass Save has on the unit and even our new smart thermostat. Feel like we got a great deal for what we have installed even without the rebates. You can tell Rick really knows his stuff and is passionate about the work he does when he explains your options and shows you how everything is going to work. Heat is working great and can’t wait to use the a/c come summer. Looking forward to the oil and electric savings too. Highly recommend!
Great guy with great service I had a problem with my old heating system in the middle of the night called and got a response within a half hour came down the next day managed to master the old system with ease and assisted with instructions on what to do in the Future should a problem occur and not to mentioned it was all reasonably priced. Rick installed a new heat pump/air handler for me. Helped me submit a rebate thru MassSave, which saved me 40% of the cost. Work was done quickly and efficiently. With the new 'smart' controllers, it is necessary to "tune" the system over time, and Rick has it running great. Super responsive, and clearly dedicated to his customers.
Great service Affordable
I called with a failure on my outdoor compressor and they called me back very quickly with the details on a diagnostic. They were even able to come out that day. It did take a couple of days to get the part but the pricing on that was very fair, as was the tune-up/inspection on both units. They were very respectful and communicative and did an excellent job keeping me updated on the work. They will definitely be my go-to with any future issues.

My natural gas furnace decided to stop working after a recent snow storm. With a cold house and two little kids at home, I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get an HVAC technician out to the house in a reasonable amount of time (i.e. days). Within an hour of calling Silvia Service Company and explaining my situation, he was at my house and fixed my problem! He was professional, knows his craft, arrived when he said he would and was fair with his pricing. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend!
I highly recommend Richard from Silvia service co.He was efficient , economical , and pleasant . He took the time to explain everything and answered any and all questions. He also explained every detail and answered questions that my insurance asked him as well as writing up a detailed report . I felt like he treated me like a FAMILY member !
Our family had to install a furnace, hot water heater and a/c unit within 4 weeks to take advantage of the MassSave incentive program. Rick went above and beyond not only assisting us with getting the proper supporting documents, he explained in detail the installation process and kept in constant communication through the entire process (always received an ETA 15 min text before he arrived for a scheduled appointment). Rick was very knowledgeable about the products he installed and explained each unit functions and cost saving benefits. I would strongly recommend contacting Rick to friends, family and strangers for any HVAC related service needs.
