He replaced my AC pump very quickly on a humid miserable day. Very professional and knows what exactly what he is doing. I would highly recommend this place!

I went through this company for air duct cleaning. Hands down, the BEST price by FAR! We scheduled over the phone for the very next day and when they got here, Mike realized I had a very old and difficult to work with duct system. He pivoted and figured out how to complete the service in a little bit of a different way, but still did a fantastic job. Great guys, pleasant to work with and showed integrity throughout the entire process.
Very unhappy using Silver Lake HVAC. Called them because my A/C wasn’t working. They sent out 2 guys to my house to solve the issue. They could not figure out the issue and told me I had to call someone else to fix it. They thought it was an electrical issue and said I need an electrician. So I had to pay 400 dollars for them to not know what is wrong and to tell me to call someone else. Okay so I call an electrician and have to pay more money for him to come out and look. The electrician tells me that everything electrical is fine and the issue is the A/C unit in the attic. Basically, had to pay them 400 to not fix anything and told me to go to call someone else. Not happy with their service and would not recommend.
I am very disappointed with Silver Lake HVAC. I asked them to come service my two AC units, as one was low on refrigerant. They came a couple days later, topped up my refrigerant without checking for leaks and charged me $340 and left. The unit worked for two days and then started spewing hot air back into the house. I called and texted to ask them to come back and fix the problem and they have disappeared. The 30 day warranty is meaningless and I have to hire another contractor to repair my units, and fix the problem. Rude, disrespectful, poor work and they overcharge. AVOID.

I cannot say enough good things about the customer service I experienced. John, Jeff, and Tim were all incredibly professional and genuinely cared about fixing our no-heat situation in a timely manner. John explained all of my system replacement options in great detail and steered me away from unnecessary, higher priced alternatives. He also explained available rebates and incentives. I highly recommend Silver Lake HVAC and they will be my first call for future projects.
These guys are terrific. Not only are they technically knowledgeable, but they truly try to find the best solution for the customer, including cost. Very highly recommended.
Old school knowledge and attention to detail! Correctly sized a new burner, the older one was "way over-sized" for our home. Installed the new burner the next day, labeled piping, wrote furnace specifications of backside of furnace cover, reconfigured intake/exhaust piping correctly to my surprise the drain pump was replaced with a much better quality pump (no charge) Knowingly understanding we were in a jamb due to no heat the installation price was very fair! Highly recommend Silver Lake HVAC!
I wish I could tell you about the quality of their work, but I can't. I am simply appalled at the lack of customer service. When I called to get a quote about converting my oil system to propane, John was very nice. Until he met me. Not only did he try to upsell items I know I didn't need, he tried to tell me that MassSave wouldn't cover any of the updates I wanted to do, even though I had my audit not even two weeks beforehand and made sure that the conversion would be covered. When I brought that up, he looked at me like I was stupid and told me to go read the fine print. Not even three minutes later we were talking about possibly installing central air at the same time, and I mentioned wanting to hold off on the actual install to make sure I can afford it. He looked me directly in the face and said, "Then you definitely can't afford [the other type of furnace]." Excuse me? I've never been so close to throwing someone off my property before that moment. Do not assume that you know my financial situation and what I can and cannot afford. Just because I am a woman does not mean that I do not read the fine print or handle the finances for my household. And as if that wasn't infuriating enough, John never gave me a quote. At all. No rough estimate. No written proposal. Nothing.
I recently had Silver Lake install the heat pump/ac mini split units in my home. John was very organized and detailed in his proposal. He was very fair with his price and timely with his responses to questions etc. He was very knowledgeable about the units and rebates offered. John and his team of jeff, russ and bam worked hard installing the condensor and 4 ac heads within the home. They were all friendly and respectful of my home and family. The work was done very neat and as stated in the proposal. They worked hard for us to finish the job in 2 days just in time for the heat wave. Myself and family couldn't be any happier with the services provided. Thanks Tim Higgins
