Patrick went above and beyond during our appointment. He was able to schedule us quickly which was especially important during a heat wave. During the appointment he walked us through his troubleshooting process and educated us on the specialty tools he carried. Patrick was very transparent in the service, parts and recommendations. Would use him again in a heart beat.
Patrick and the other worker where great and professional. I have kids and a dog that run around and bark. Didn't keep him from his work. Very understanding and polite and respectful. I have had number of contractors and professionals come in our home and so rude and rush and just want to get paid. He is truly genuine just want to help and serve. Our 20ish year old air conditioner decided to not start up this past spring when things started to heat up. Patrick came out the next day to look at our system. Fearing the worst, needing a new system, once Patrick saw the condenser unit, he turns to me and says, "I have a good feeling about this." He took about an hour, servicing the unit, put in new capacitors, and a start capacitor, which the system did not have, and cleaned it up. The unit started right up and worked wonderfully all summer. Patrick knows his stuff and he was a pleasure to talk to. I also really appreciate all the check lists he has on the website. Great info for basic maintenance to extend the life of your system and diagnose issues. Lastly, he truly cares about seeing your system last as long as it can. He is not there to sell you a new system but will be honest and tell you when it is time.
Patrick was responsive, punctual and honest. He quickly figured out the problem with our A/C unit and completed the job at a fair price. We highly recommend this business!

Patrick was highly recommended by our neighbor. A/C was acting. A Home Warranty Company failed to fix problem. Patrick assessed the situation with our almost 30 year old system and simply got it working beautifully. It’s now a new system.
Patrick has serviced our heating and air systems. He is knowledgeable, professional and clearly communicates the problems and solutions. Our system is old but with his skills he has kept the furnace and AC working.
Incredibly friendly, thorough, and gave great recommendations on upkeep of our system. I really appreciated to find on his website a list of troubleshooting ideas to try first before calling. I was even more impressed when he reached out to me today (a couple months later after my service) asking how our AC faired through the Sacramento Apocalypse temps of 115. This is the best HVAC company I've ever used to handle my systems. Patrick arrived shortly after my system failed; he is knowledgeable, and he went out of his way to get the replacement part for me as soon as possible. We cannot express how grateful we are to him.
Very thorough double checked his work and recommendations. Reasonable pricing. Two big name companies said I needed to buy new units. It was not necessary.
I have an older AC unit (20+ years) that was installed and serviced by one of the corporate heating & air businesses. When they told me that my (6 years ago) AC unit was to old & needed to be replaced, I called Patrick. The AC unit had a small leak & needed more refrigerant. Being an older unit, with the old refrigerant, Patrick removed the old stuff, fixed the leak & put the new refrigerant in my unit. 6 years later and my unit has not lost any refrigerant & still keeps my house cool. Patrick fixed my AC unit and has kept it running for the past 6 years at a fraction of the cost of a new unit. Most recently, the blower stopped working on the HVAC this summer, just as a heat wave was starting. I called Patrick and he was at my house the next day getting my AC back up and running. He is professional, knowledgeable and very responsive. Whenever my AC or heater stops working, I call Sierra Aire Heating & Air Conditioning.
Pat responded the same day I called. Made the repair of changing the fan and the A/C heat pump has kept the house cool all summer in triple digit heat wave. He followed up to ensure it has been working. My heat pump is about 22 years old.
Patrick is very responsive, helpful, and profession. He is able to some diagnosis over the phone based on describing the problems. We had an issue with our A/C on our main home and he came by to diagnose it and since it ended up being something that he couldn't address due to the size of the job, he didn't charge. For our rental home, he was able to go by the house and fix the issue the very same day, which was great since it was a very hot day. Definitely recommend Patrick for any A/C repair. Just know that he is a one man operation so he won't be able to handle big jobs, but he can recommend other companies.

My AC failed last week on the hottest day of the year. It was 115° and my house couldn’t get any cooler than 90°. Lots of Companies were busy, but Patrick fit me in his heavy schedule. He showed up in less than an hour! Over the phone and in person, he has well over 10 year experience, very trustworthy, and approachable. I legitimately believed he actually cared about my health and not solely his commission. He provided me with a great rate, and logical info about my AC (from 1990). He was real and didn’t go straight to the “you need a whole new system”. He showed me proper maintenance of the equipment and what sounds and components mean. Keep in mind it was 115°. So glad I reached out and will use them again. It’s working better than it’s ever been since I moved in. Thank you!
My wife and I have used him several times since 2017 and through several different homes. He's our go-go-guy as we feel he's honest and truthful with us about what's needed. We don't feel he's lying or trying to upsell us on unneeded repairs and that goes a long way. He's very communicative and responsive. No issues whatsoever. I
