These guys are awesome!!! First and foremost, they are honest. They don’t try to sell you something you don’t need. Saved me thousands vs another quote. I use them now for both my residence and business and will never use anyone else. Great to find someone I can trust.

Shack HVAC is great! I got a few bids on a cooling system installation from companies around town. Not only did they come in on the lower side but they were able to install in two days even in this heat! There were some issues with the existing furnace but they worked around it and got the job done well. I would absolutely hire them again!
Michael and his crew were great. They were friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. He is not the cheapest in town, but he took the time to explain the pros and cons of each option, and took a least cost first approach to repairing my very old AC, and he did this when other AC people wouldn't even give me a call back. We were up and running the next day, and I'll probably get another 5 years out of this AC thanks to him.
I hired these guys for some basic maintenance. From the start the communication was great. From there the techs showed up on time and were extremely professional and courteous. They are my new go-to HVAC team!

He went above and beyond what I expected him to do when fixing my heat. This is hands down the best HVAC company I have ever worked with. Just had them out a second time for ac issues 8/10/21 and they worked with me to get my system running properly. Evan and Dylan are amazing and very thorough. HIGHLY recommend this company!! My A/C broke... In August! In Texas! We knew there would be a wait for repairs & service. Long story short, within hours, Evan (from ShackHVAC) was at my house, helping us get cool again. He was professional. Took time to explain what he was doing. Did a thorough job. Didn't try to pad the bill with a bunch of extra "necessities." Need a recommendation for an A/C repairman? ShackHVAC came out to perform a maintenance check on my home air conditioning system that hadn’t been serviced in several years. The service team (Evan & Dillon) arrived on time, gave me detailed updates throughout the process, and they answered every question I had about system function & performance. They even tolerated our shepherd mix with zero complaints about his excess sniffing, barking, and stranger shenanigans. 5-stars are well earned - highly recommended!!
Called because I had a question with my P trap and filter coordination. I could not have called a better HVAC company. Very knowledgeable and they are there to help and not just sell. They were super friendly and walked me through step by step; saving me money for a service call. I will be be using them for any other HVAC issues in the future. Thanks again !!!!
I called ShackHVAC, when my home warranty wouldn't cover my service request. The company whom my warranty sent to help me, wanted me to replace the entire system, which would have cost several thousand dollars! My A/C unit is almost 4yrs old, why does it need to be replaced?! I needed a second opinion, so I called Shackhvac and left a message. Micheal, returned my call promptly and his voice was very assuring. Michael and Andrew came out the same day and on time! Michael and Andrew were knowledgeable and familiar with my A/C unit and System. They were able to figure out the source of my trouble and get the issue resolved immediately. They went above and beyond my request and exceeded my expectations! I am so pleased with this company and recommend ShackHVAC. They take pride in the quality of work and customer service they provide. So happy !!

He has performed repairs and installed a unit for me and each time I've been impressed. Look no further, this is your go- to company.
Michael takes pride in his work and the end results show it. If you want your job done right call him. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He seems to greatly enjoy what he does. At no point did I feel like I was being sold more than I needed as is the case with many contractors out there. He presented many repair options and explained them all in detail. I hired him to adjust and repair my DIY mini-split install. He rebuilt my leaky drainage system entirely and along the way educated me on the particulars. He also rerouted my refrigeration lines and fixed some faulty connections. When there was an environmental issue affecting my system he made himself available on short notice and worked with me to diagnose the problem, provided great advice and pointed me towards the correct solution.
ShackHVAC is the best hvac company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. From product knowledge to design expertise they are the right company. Professional and honest.... very rare and hard to find these days. I highly recommend them for any project.

Michael from ShackHVAC took a look at my AC mini-split unit and quickly fixed the problem and charged the unit. He also offered advice on how I can maintain the unit and insulate my garage. He answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. His prices were very fair, especially compared to other companies that I had called. ShackHVAC was the only company I could find that was willing to service my mini split (even though they did not mount and install it) I found ShackHVAC through google search — I’m glad I found them and I will definitely be calling them again. I hope this helps someone.
I recently had ShackHVAC out to replace my heat pump on May 6, 2020. Working with Michael over the phone and email to accurately quote the replacement was a pleasant surprise during the COVID-19 quarantine. He was able to accurately quote the job from pictures sent via email and confirmed with a quick site visit a few days before the install was scheduled. I had a particular Bosch 20 SEER (IDS 2.0) heat pump already in mind and he was able to source the correct unit and get the new system installed quickly and at a much more reasonable price than the two competing quotes I had received. Michael did fantastic work, going above and beyond to make sure airflow was optimized for the high efficiency unit. Through no fault of his own he had to return to do a warranty replacement of a faulty blower in the air handler and was very thorough in making sure the replacement matched exactly to the factory install. At the same time he double checked that the system was properly charged with refrigerant now that the outdoor temperature was within the unit’s charging specifications. After a month the system is working perfectly and I am extremely pleased with his work. I have already recommended ShackHVAC to all my friends and family.
I just wanted to take a minute to let everyone know, I was very satisfied with Michael. He explained everything very well and he was very knowledgeable and very professional. He was able to get our air conditioning fixed and I really appreciate that. Thanks Michael !!
