I discovered Santa Fe Heating and Cooling by chance and contacted them for a gas hot water heater installation. It was a pleasure to deal with Dave who was very thorough in his explanation and price estimate. Within two hours, they came over, assessed the project, and purchased necessary hardware for installation. The installation was complete before the end of the day. Having spoken with two other companies for the same job, Santa Fe Heating and Cooling stands out in their customer service, price competitiveness and excellent work. I will definitely use them again for other projects.

David and his team installed a ductless heating and cooling system, and replaced a boiler and hot water tank at the house. They do quality work, professional, and are quick to respond. Highly recommend them.
We went through so many different companies in regards to our furnace and AC since we bought our house. Our furnace is SO OLD and it has been an utter nightmare. Until we found Santa fe Heating and Cooling. Dealing with any company that fixes your home I have found to be super difficult as they dont show up, dont respond and charge a fortune. Not David and his crew. They are so quick to answer phone calls and respond to texts. They understood that we didnt have heat in the winter and have a baby so they would come right over to try and get our furnace working and when we finally decided to replace it, they were so accommodating giving us different quotes and trying to help us work on our budget because replacing a furnace is not cheap. I highly recommend this company!
David Aguirre installed a large mini-split system in our house (1 large outdoor compressor and 5 indoor heating/cooling units). He was a pleasure to work with, arriving on time, completing the job in the predicted three days for the estimated price, leaving behind no mess, and best of all, the system is working beautifully.
David and his team were great to work with. They installed a 1.5 ton compressor and 3x mini splits in our home very efficiently and professionally. Very happy with the service they provided and would recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their home or service their AC system. 10 out of 10 recommend Santa Fe Heating and Cooling!!
Again, why am I responsible for you preparing for a job and driving to my home charging 130, I am well within city limits and if you didn't have the right equipment I don't see why I would have to pay for your commute. Getting paid $130/hr is better then what most truck drivers make.
Straight overcharged and stole from me. Was inconsistent and unreliable. Caught lying about service cost and charging without clarification. I would never do business with Santa Fe heating and cooling.
I was scheduled to have David Aguirre to arrive Saturday and was cancelled. Rescheduled for Monday and had a no show and had to reach out. Finally, I got him to show up Tuesday where he recharged the unit within 15 minutes. He charged $130/hr for 1.5 hours of labor because he came unprepared and had to drive out to get refrigerant. I was told refrigerant was $40/lb and he charged my mom $50/lb. The lack of professionalism and integrity is ridiculous. Honestly, i wouldn't recommend David or Santa Fe heating and cooling for any work.
My mom was experiencing issues with smoke/carbon monoxide detectors being set off, even though no smell of gas or smoke was obvious. So it worried me, especially being the day after Thanksgiving because many businesses were closed for the holiday. I was fortunate that David answered and was available to go immediately and provide an inspection. He was very thorough and figured out and corrected the problem which was serious. He also checked the other heaters in the home and made us aware of other issues that would need to be addressed. I can't say enough about how grateful I was that he responded quickly and was able to identify and rectify the problem with the heating system. It gave me peace of mind. Thank you, David.
Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Very Professional and hard working no complaints at all! Best place in Santa Fe.
