Manny did a great job. He provided some great equipment to improve the temperature control in the house for the summer. Can't wait to see how everything works for the summer.
After having horrific experiences with other HVAC companies, Salazar was a refreshing experience. He called when he became available which was ahead of our schedule appointment. I immediately felt comfortable upon his arrival at my home. He was professional yet friendly. He analyzed my issue and took care of it. Upon my request, he gave me recommendations. He was kind and generous with his time, he went above and beyond to ensure everything was working right. He even showed me a more efficient way to use my thermostat. I most definitely am and will recommending Salazar Heating & Air to anyone who needs HVAC service, replacement or repair.
Manny replaced our 30 year old Unico/spacepak with a new unit, upgraded ducts, integrated our boiler with the Unico, and more. We had him back out to extend some ducts for a renovation and he ultimately changed the ductwork in such a way that we get a huge improvement in airflow. He is a perfectionist (you can tell just by how meticulous he is about routing wires, zip ties every 12”), and the result shows. Our house was built in 1894 and he spent a huge amount of time thinking about ways to optimize our setup. When something went wrong (which was rare), he was out on a Saturday night to resolve it. I’d absolutely recommend 110%.
Great service, professional, goes above and beyond every time! This is our second time calling Salazars heating and cooling when we were in a pinch and they were so responsive! Manny came out within the hour, diagnosed the issue, talked us through the repair and went above and beyond to get us up and running smoothly. Manny provided fast, friendly and professional service, which is hard to find these days.
I have used Salazar Heating and Air on multiple occasions. Most recently, I had an issue with my furnace cycling on and off and not maintaining the room temperature. Manny and his team are extremely knowledgeable and explained exactly what was causing the problem and what options I had to fix it. Unlike other contractors, they didn't try and sell me things I didn't need, and were forthcoming on the pros and cons of each option. It's so rare to find an honest, reputable, and capable contractor these days, especially regarding HVAC. I am thrilled to have found Salazar, and Manny has my strongest recommendation.

I bought my new home recently that still uses the old fashion radiator for heating. The radiator was very old and the previous owner had not well maintained the radiators and that caused all the radiator valves cracking and leaking. I called Manny and asked him for consultation to see how he can help me fixing this problem. I was very nervous at first since I never work Manny before. But after we spoke I feel Manny is very knowledgeable about the things I asked him to help me. We started out replacing one radiator with the new base radiator than our partnership started to grow and becoming a friendship. I begin asking Manny to help me with another project on my second floor. In short I can’t tell you how much I appreciate Manny and his service that he provided for me.
Manny was above and beyond professional. His knowledge alone was more than any HVAC company I have worked with in the past. From coming out for a free consultation, to answering my frequent barrage of questions, to staying in touch throughout the process and always showing up on time as expected, to the actual quality of his craftsmanship and care he takes in his work. Manny ensured not only was the new heating system for my garage and under floor radiant installed to my liking, but also ensured to follow up with me after installation and tweak as needed. I'd recommend Manny and his team to anyone in the Chicago area looking for anything from general maintenance to large installations.
Mr. Salazar got the exact replacement igniter part to insure long service life. He is very knowledgable, and provided timely service at a reasonable price. I will call him for any future hvac work.
I needed to replace my old water heater. Manny came out and gave me several options. I opted to go with a standard water heater but this ended up being too big for my condo space, we had to go with a tankless unit. Manny was very professional and patient throughout this whole process! The installation was done very well, both times. The crew is very friendly and they cleaned everything up. Communication was great throughout the whole process, the crew was on time, each time. Great company to work with, would definitely recommend.

Manual was excellent! I’m a first time home buyer and he came in, completed his assessment, and talked us through his recommendations. When he came back to complete the job, he kept me updated on his arrival time, and then explained what he was doing as he went along. He gave me tips about increasing the life of my furnace and water heater and gave me some suggestions on how to increase the air quality in my home. He definitely went above and beyond in answering my questions! Would highly recommend and will use again.
I can't say enough good things about Manny, his professionalism and the quality of his work! The heater to a rental property I own was not working. After having a different repair guy come out multiple times with no success, I decided to give Salazar Heating a try after reading the good reviews. I am so happy that I did. Manny scheduled to come out right away. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem! He was responsive to all of my questions and explained things in a straight forward, easy to understand manner. I have found the company for all of my heating/cooling needs! Thank you, Manny so much for the amazing job!
This is the second time i used this company. I used them for a brand new boiler installation for my residence and now for brand new heating/ac at my brothers rental unit. I dealt with Manny, he is extremely professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with. The team at Salazar are incredible. Manny is quick, responsive, and knowledgeable. He will explain things to you in terms that you understand without trying to oversell you or make you feel like you're being taken advantage of. Manny was on time, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I've got an old, end of life boiler. He tuned it up and explained my options for (eventual) replacement. I called him after another hvac pro canceled on me and I ended up being grateful for the cancellation!
