I called in the morning on a hot summer day. There was someone to immediately answer the call, ask about the problem and then check the schedule to see if someone was available that day. She got me scheduled the same day and when he arrived he was able to repair the outside a/c unit. Very pleasant service from everyone and the technician even explained a little more about a heat pump HVAC system. I moved to Harford County the other year,, this is a service I will use again for basic maintenance.
Tommy and his crew did an amazing job installing my ductless system! Everyone I encountered from the installation crew to the receptionist were all very professional, patient, and answered all of my questions. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you S&L!
We called S&L because we were experiencing issues with the air in our unit not getting cold. Additionally our lights in the house would dim everytime the air tried to kick on. This occurred right at the end of June before a holiday weekend. I called S&L and they were able to fit us in within that same week. I spoke with Diana on the phone and she was very nice and helpful. I figured they would be really busy considering the time of year and the weekend however Diana worked with us to make sure they could get someone out to take a look at our AC unit. I called on a Thursday and Bryan came out on Friday. I was not home when he came by but my boyfriend said Bryan was professional and quick. He took a look at our AC unit and had the issue resolved in less than an hour! With it almost being July, we were very excited to have our AC fixed so quickly! We would definitely recommend S&L if you're looking for someone to assist with your A/C system. Thank you!
Very good up front but poor on the follow through. Quote received was very professional with full details of the job. Didn't try to upsell or pressure you with a "we'll knock off $X if you sign right now). However after the installation was complete the workers left without fully verifying that the system was working and didn't follow up after they left. Turns out the thermostat was miswired so there was no AC on an 82 degree night. Did not have anyone available until the morning so had to spend the night sweating with barely any sleep. Worker came out the next morning and fixed the wiring so that the AC worked, but again there was no follow up from the company to verify that the unit was working to my satisfaction. No offer of recompense for the botched installation either.

Our furnace was approaching 50 years old and our AC unit was 30 years old. S&L came out to estiamte and spent a good hour with us explaining the equipment options and financing and once we made our selections, we got right on the schedule for installation. I appreciate all the hard work Steve’s team has done to get the work completed in record time. High quality and value for your money. The job was big and involved replacing the unit, duct reconfiguring and installation of new returns. The team led by Tommy was exceptional with Mike, Sean and the rest of the crew happy to answer questions, willing to show you their progress and teach you a thing or two about the installation.
Kind on the phone (and answered by a real person), sent someone out same day, he found the problem right away (was a wiring issue), explained it clearly, resolved it, thanked me, done in <hour. Even found a setting on the system in the cellar I hadn't known about; changed it for better fan power through the vents. We had functioning AC within just a few hours of my initial call, on a day that's predicted to be close to 90°. Perfectly reasonable pricing, good service, polite people. I highly recommend

When we called for the estimate, they came out the very next day! The price was considerably better than BGE Home and they were able to return just as quickly (the next day) for installation. The workmen, very carefully laid drop a cloth on the carpet since they had to remove the old system (unit) thru the Condo as it’s a 3rd floor space. So they really do take time for the little things and those extra details matter. This new unit was needed for my Dad who is 90, and is on oxygen! We had the impending heat wave coming, so we were so grateful that all this was taken into consideration. S & L was prompt, paid attention to details and was compassionate to the needs of my father. I can not say enough about my gratitude for this company and a job well done!
The owner himself came to give me an estimate, Steve is very professional, and humble. The company is incredible with communication! His workers showed up, you can tell they love working for Steve. My friend had Steve come to her place for an estimate, she was happy with him also. They definitely have a great system, and company running! As far as my new split unit, I am IN LOVE! Very very happy with my choice for S&L and this unit!
This company installed my ductless air... today they came to clean it and look it over... Great job. So happy to found them I would recommend to everyone
Had a Mitsubishi system installed. Steve was great to deal with. Offered a great price. Both mikes did a great job with the installation. Phillip the lead tech was very informative went over the process and answered my questions. The Mitsubishi system is well made and very quiet. I would use this system and company again.

We are very happy with the excellent service and installation of a new 3-zone Mitsubishi mini-split system by S&L Prime A/C and Heating. Steve was very receptive to our unique requests for the installation into our historic home and took time to explain different options and answer any questions we had during the initial consultation. The installers Phil and Michael were great to work with and went above and beyond to ensure the installation was done in the way we wanted. This included significant problem solving to overcome unique challenges with routing all of the line sets internally so that there are no lines on the exterior walls of the home. The entire team was professional, responsive, and did everything possible to ensure we were happy with the results. We highly recommend S&L for their professional and quality service!
