Be wary! Mr Conkin installed an HVAC unit in our home in 2015. The unit is under warranty and is currently broken down. He originally offered to come on the morning of February 7th (great!), however by noon we realized he wasn't showing up. This was after we arranged to be at the home and waiting. We called and texted, after multiple attempts he said he would be there within an hour. He did not show up. Since then we have left multiple other phone calls texts and emails all to no response. We are unsure what is going on. If you read this, any response would be appreciated!! Edit: Just to add to this our hvac unit is out again. Guy can't be found anywhere. Another HVAC company takes a look and our evaporator coil is out. The cost to replace this will be $2500. Warranty expired just a few months ago.
Excellent guy & courteous, prompt service. I always felt like I was getting taken for a ride with these big corporate companies. He was straight with me and had us up and running in no time. Highly recommend!
So the map shows the greater Rutherford County area and their name even is Rutherford Plumbing etc.. However they won't even consider coming to a Lascassas TN address for business... Very much in Rutherford County... Don't know about the service they wouldn't come.... Look elsewhere
Worst air-conditioning man ever want to charge me 1500 dollars just to have freon in air very rude and not willing to help in time of need awful attitude gives the navy a bad name if je was in the navy never call this man
Steven was professional and a lifesaver. He came out at 10pm on Saturday to service my ac and got it running back to normal shortly after arriving. This was after being let down by one of the big chains and other local companies not answering my call.
Great, fast, and well priced! Will continue to use! Very satisfied and we know if there is a problem we can call and he will be right over!!
I have used Steven for water heater replacements multiple times (I have 2 units), he has rerouted plumbing for remodel jobs, and 3 years ago replaced my HVAC unit while we were at work. He is very responsible, courteous, professional, honest and prompt. He has always called to inform us as to when he would be at the house and about how long the job would take. He cleans up after himself and looks as if no one had ever been there. Rutherford Plumbing Heat and Cooling is the only company we use!
I have had work done by Rutherford Plumbing Heating and Cooling a few times and everything they have not only done and excellent job at a very fare price. Steve has always went out of his way to make sure we knew all the options and supported the decisions on the options we have chosen. He has always been 100% professional and stood behind his work. Rutherford Plumbing Heating and Cooling is the only team we will let work on our plumbing heating and cooling..
I have had Steven do work for me on multiple occasions. I will never call anyone else. He is always prompt, professional and courteous. He is absolutely honest and I am never uncomfortable to have Steven at my house doing work, even if I am not home. I have left him there doing work and had him lock up on his way out. He communicates well on arrival times and status of the job. Most recently, Steven installed a tankless water heater in my home. He arrived on time and completed the job quickly, saving me thousands of dollars over other quotes. My old water heater was in a terrible location for removal and Steven even got it out and hauled it away. If you ever have any plumbing or HVAC needs, Rutherford Plumbing Heating and Cooling is the only call you should consider making.

If you need someone that is honest, knowledgeable in their trade, and not high sales I would recommend Rutherford Plumbing Heating and Cooling. Based on the four times they have done work for me I would consider them courteous, professional, willing to answer any questions I have, and able to work around my schedule. I consider their service second to none! I have used Rutherford PHC four times this year to install a new tub faucet, sink plumbing, main water line, and fix an electric heating unit during our cold 2013-2014 winter. As for the jobs. I have had no problems with any of the installs that they have done for me and they have been quick to get the job done. Thank you Steven and the Rutherford Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling Crew!
About a year ago, I had an issue with one of my two AC units. It was a simple issue, but who wants to shop repairmen to get a great deal during the dead of summer? I felt I needed to if I was going to get someone competent and not spend a million dollars. After meeting with Steven I got exactly that! He was punctual, knowledgeable, and courteous; he fixed the problem quickly and didn't try to sell me on a bunch of extra services. In addition, he helped me identify places where I could reduce air leaks and keep my home cool more efficiently. Now, if you're like me, you collect service companies that are worth keeping. This is definitely one of them!! Unfortunately, I had a different issue with the second AC unit and Stephen was my go to guy. And again, perfect, quick service. Hopefully I won't have any more issues, but if I do, you can be sure I'll call Rutherford Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling.
Steven and Rutherford Plumbing Heating and Cooling turned a bad day into a pretty enjoyable experience. I turned my AC on this spring (2015) and it wasn't working right. I called Steven at noon and he had an appointment for me that night at 6. He was on time, knowledgeable, and very nice. He diagnosed the problem, gave me a little lesson in HVAC 101, and fixed it in about an hour. His price is reasonable and I know if I ever had a problem he would be there ASAP. Overall, if you are unlucky enough to have AC/Heating problems, call Steven at Rutherford Plumbing Heating and Cooling. I had a great experience.
I have used Rutherford Plumbing many times. Steven provides excellent customer service at a fair price. He is very honest and dependable. I recently purchased an older home and he installed a new water line and all new plumbing. The job was completed in a timely manner. If you are looking for honesty and integrity at the best price, you need to call Rutherford Plumbing. They are simply the best!!
He was very observant to see what was wrong and fixed it in a very short time. He found the leak the first day, and turned the area off to stop the water. Then he came back out and fixed it the next day. The cost was reasonable and he fixed it completely the very next day.
Horrible customer service. Called on Friday to set up appt for following week. Sent/gave information that he requested. No email. No phone call. Nothing. Never even showed up during the appt window. If this is how you run your business; I'm surprised you still have one. I'll find a more respectable company who actually wants my business.
We had Rutherford install a new A/C unit. Stephen was quick with returning calls, showed up on time, and was very honest in his assessment of our needs. There was no high pressure sales pitch to try and convince us to buy more than we needed, or to commit before he left -- just straight up good advice. On the day of the install there was a delay due to parts not being available but Stephen called several times to update me on when he would be arriving instead of just letting me hang in the dark like the many contractors. When he did arrive he completed the work in less time than estimated and did a fantastic job. We're very happy with our experience and plan to use Rutherford's services again!

We have used this company several times and we have been more than pleased with the service every time. He shows up right when promised and even came out to fix our busted pipe in the middle of a torential downpour and did an amazing job helping us out during a stressful situation! He is very courteous and respectful. You cant find a better company than Rutherford Plumbing!
Do not hire these people. They are not dependable and cannot be trusted.
