They do not provide emergency service as their website advertises. There was miscommunication on the dispatch time through AHS. I had tried many times to call, e mail, and send message through the website. Did not get a single response back. When I finally got through them, they refused to accomodate and keeps pushing the date back.
Johnny was friendly, on time and knowledgeable. He’s experienced and it showed.
Scott at RocTex did an amazing job repairing our AC. In fact, he went above and beyond. Our repair required multiple steps to truly fix our unit (replaced capacitor and a failing motor). Scott could’ve just replaced the capacitor and been on his way. But he knew the job wasn’t don’t and didn’t leave until he knew it was truly repaired. His diligence is appreciated and I’d definitely recommend RocTex.
We highly recommend Roctex and their technician Johnny S. He was able to diagnose and repair our old Lenox system, when our — soon to be former HVAC firm tries to overcharge, unnecessarily repair and upswell us for a new system we did not want or need. Our systems have been maintained, repaired and replaced in the home for almost 50 years. We have three big units. One is 20+ years old and I’d we were younger and planned to stay in this home then we would upgrade. At this point the property is worth more than the home, so major capital improvements are a waste of money. We have communicated this clearly to the firm who maintains our systems twice each year. One unit quit cooling and the maintenance firm handed us a bill for $6k+ discounted to $5k+ because we were members of their maintenance plan. I had suspected we were being ripped off and had another firm work on the system last year so already knew what was wrong with the system. Funny thing, a few days after they left it got hot and the system wasn’t cooling. Found Roctex and they discovered that the chiller had been turned off outside at the unit. Johnny got the system properly diagnosed and repaired for less than $800 (a far cry from the $6k+ quotes by our soon to be former maintenance company). Bottom line, a bigger, big name firm doesn’t always mean much. Roctex and Johnny S. Came through for us by providing good old fashioned service combined with courteous, honest, ethical business practices.

They installed an entirely new AC system for my family home. Everyone I had communications with was extremely professional, courteous and very knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Mark was awesome! I would and will recommend them to anyone who needs AC work or system replacement.
The WORST experience EVER!! The DISPATCH OFFICE SUPERVISOR "MARK" kept saying "YOU PEOPLE THAT HAS HOME WARRATY AND INSURANCE THINK YOU'RE A PRIORITY FIRST who TF is "YOU PPL"? We can't accommodate your time all the time.... just rude!
