Quality service, pleasant, on time and clean

River City installed our new York HVAC System 7 years ago. It has performed great since day one. We did opt for the 10-year extended parts/labor warranty. We've only called them to come out each Spring for an annual checkup. This Spring while Ryan the technician was doing the checkup he noticed a part starting to fail. Ryan called his office to get the part ordered and coordinated with me a good day and time to come back to replace it. On that scheduled day and time Ryan came back and replaced the warranty part. From calling the office staff to schedule my checkup to Ryan coming out to look at it, everyone was very polite, professional and knowledgeable about my system. I would highly recommend River City Heating and Air to my family and friends. Thanks, Steve

River City did a great job. The owner, Bobby, came out the day after installation to check the job. I had a couple of small concerns which he addressed on the spot. It was great to work with someone who cares about quality and stands behind his work. No excuses, just good service with a smile. So glad I chose River City for the job.

These guys installed our HVAC system years ago and continue to maintain it. I love that the service techs are the same couple of guys every time - a small stable outfit. They are professional, very friendly, and answer all sorts of questions for me. Couldn't be more pleased at this point.
Another great experience with River City Heating & Air!!! I had them replace my upstairs unit with a not so conventional system. It is a newer hi efficiency split heat pump with a regular indoor unit and a mini split type outdoor unit. They knocked it out of the park and did an outstanding job on the change out. There installers where incredibly courteous to me and my family, on time and cleaned up after themselves. We couldn't be happier. Thank you to Bobby, Matt and Lee for a great job!!!
Had to use these people for house insurance.I had to go 10 days in the heat because guy could not fix this unit,he has been out 6 times and everytime he leaves he it's out again,the same guy had to work across the street on my neighbors unit and and theirs are doing the same as mine.. ..BEWARE
The employees that came to my house for my install were great and extremely friendly.
A Hot & Horrible Experience. RCH came on 27 May 2022 to repair my A/C and told me I had a leak and needed freon. The cool temps lasted 5 days and then stopped. It took them over a week to come back out the second time. This visit I was told (as the technician was sprinting out of the house) that my A/C unit is doing all it can do and that the sub level temp was 20 degrees below what it should be(see video and the location of the techs thermometer). All in all the tech beat feet out of my home leaving us with an indoor temp of 82 degrees after there thermostat was set on 67 for over an hour and said this was normal.
My problem was a mis-routed dryer vent pipe and vent cover. In less than 2 1/2 hours the Tec’s removed the old vents and redirected the vent to the proper outlet. My thanks to Kyle and Charley for a professional job well done.

From starting the process of getting a quote working with Ute in the office to having Bobby visit the house to give his thoughts, to working with the installers Ryan, Lee, and Carlos everything was great! I had an old HVAC/duct system that was completely replaced from a 2200 square foot rancher. It was a 5-day process and the team showed up on time every day and completed it in the exact time they said they would. The new system is super quiet and feels like it's pumping out a tornado as compared to the trickle of air from the old one.
I explained to Ricky Hurtt what I was looking for. Then he made it very clear, concise, relaxed presentation of the product he recommended. I compared Daikin to Mitsubishi’s Presentation. The products looked alike, had the same warranty, appeared to be alike- With the exception being that the Daikin product was $2600 cheaper. Yay!! I always search for the finest value for my money! So far I absolutely love this unit. Previously I had to cut off the heat pump in the room in order to have a conversation. The airflow is silent and the outdoor unit cannot be heard inside the house if the door is closed. If you open the door to listen to it, it sounds like a small box fan blowing. That is all!
Let me start out by saying, Thank You River City Heating & Air. I had been using River City Heating & Air for over seven years, they have installed two units and serviced them. My husband and I used River City for the first time! Our heat pump needed a check up...we've had it now for about 7 yrs. We found a coupon in a magazine for $59 and they came out to service our unit. The tech's name was Brian, and he did a wonderful job..He cleaned and added some chemicals to our unit and it sounds and looks like a new unit. Thank you Brian for the wonderful job you did!!! I would definitely recommend River City to my family n friends!
John was very pleasant, very respectful of my home. John was very thorough in checking my HVAC unit, inside and outside and the thermostat. Although the thermostat was registering, it was giving incorrect readouts. John changed my thermostat and I could immediately feel a difference.".
This was a Fantastic experience from get go. My old Central air was replaced with heat pump. Very happy
