I highly recommend Richmond Heating and Air. The owner personally came to diagnose the problem and was up front and professional. He took the time to explain everything, educated us on our options and when we decided to install the new HVAC unit, they made time on the schedule very quickly, were always on time and were very efficient and a pleasure to work with. Our entire extended family plans to use Richmond Heating and Air. Stellar company.

Had to replace Furnaces, AC units and 1st floor duct work. Raven Self was technician who coordinated the projects. He did a great job doing the work, explaining the details of the project and the cost. His professionalism, work ethic and integrity make Richmond Heating and Air Services a company you can trust. I especially appreciated their responsiveness to any issues. I was very pleased with their service.

When your furnace quits working on Christmas Eve it can be hard to find a silver lining but working with Richmond Heating and Air services was one. Jason was incredibly helpful and quick to fix the problem at a reasonable price. I was impressed by the the experience overall and started a maintenance contract with them because I intend to use them going forward!
Hands down, Jason is the best dude for your HVAC needs. Super prompt and helpful. Don't bother looking anywhere else. Just call these guys and they'll take care of the rest. Literally can't recommend them enough.

The best HVAC company in the area and I have used many other companies on everything from complete system installation to maintenance to total replacement, repair and upkeep. important note that they are the only company in the area that truly knows how to install, setup, architect, and configure complete home automation and smart HVAC systems for your home. Not just a simple smart thermostat but a total, complete, high efficient, smart system with the latest technologies. They are experts and one of the few in Virginia with that expertise. All the technicians that I have utilized with Richmond heating and air have gone above and beyond for me and my projects. I highly recommend them above all other HVAC services in the Richmond area. Their prices are competitive and even less than other service providers in the area as well.

He explains the issue and how we can maintain our system to prevent any issues in the future. He has serviced both my primary home and rental property and I couldn’t be happier. Again I called they came and the service was amazing. Moved into a new home needed a new thermostat and a system check. Outstanding service is what I got again. They service my homes and my parents, we never have to stress if we are getting taken advantage of. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
I called the first hot weekend we had ( in May) because my AC stopped working. Jason came out on a Monday to fix and told me there was a free diagnostic visit 30 days after to make sure the problem was repaired. I called about a week prior to the 30 days to book. When I let him know who I was and what I was trying to book, he gruffly responded “and why exactly do I need to come out?” I explained again that he was here 3 weeks prior and he had told me he would come back out to re-check and he said “oh okay. I can do next Tuesday between 11 and 1” That Tuesday rolled around and he was a no call/no show. Will not be using this company again. I hope others have a better experience!
If you use any other company to fix your HVAC you must like wasting money! Jason has always taken his time to explain what is going on and how it can be fixed. I have used RHA at two different houses in Richmond and they are always professional and the best quality at the best price. Most recently I called at 10PM thinking I would leave a message for service the following day. Jason not only answered he helped me determine the issue on a video call at 10PM! It was an easy fix, he charged me nothing and now I have AC after a 93 degree summer day. Like I said, you want to waste your money, call someone else. If you want someone who cares about their customers and provides top notch service and the best prices then call Richmond Heating and Air.
