They were very professional, on time and Impressive work.. I couldn’t be more happy with choosing reliance home comfort… I really appreciate their service and will definitely do business again.
I recently had a hot water heater replaced by Derick from Reliance Home Comfort. I am satisfied with his work. He explained what was required to bring the system set up to code, provided options, and provided thorough explanations. I appreciate his service, and would definitely hire Reliance for future repairs.
I'm writing this review at 1200 AM because my AC unit is keeping me up. Been that way for over a week. Whatever you do, do NOT use this company. They have been out to my house twice with no resolution. He never calls you back. You have to hunt him down. I expressed the urgency with no response. Says he'll do something and doesn't follow through. He could care less. He's good at telling you what he's going to do, but never does it. Doesn't keep you updated. Use ANY other company but this one. Just awful. Maybe they will respond to this review better than my phone calls and texts. RUN!!! How they are still in business, I will never know.
Unfortunately this is the second time I’ve been referred to this company and the second time that they have failed to help at all. I get the feeling this company is overwhelmed but it would be nice to at least receive a phone call, get an update, or at least be scheduled. I reached out a number of times by phone and text to try to get an update only to receive a text that someone would call to schedule me. That was 36 hours ago and of course no one has called. And now it is day three before the weekend. I’m still not even scheduled. My last call for this company was for a heavy leak from the ceiling and this second one is for an AC outage during 90+° heat. Last time it took them over a week to call me back but of course by then another contractor came. They just don’t have the time to care and have no sense of urgency. I cannot recommend this company when time is of the essence, or even if you expect to have someone to communicate with.
Hands down the best service and employees! My AC unit went in 2021 I do have a home warranty but was not aware I had a fee for service. Reliance worked with me until I had the payment and installed my new AC unit. Fast forward a month later no fault of Reliance I got a defective motor. Called and a technician was here the next day diagnosed the issue and went and got the part. Reliance deserves 5 star rating and if I could give more stars I sure would! Thank you again for the urgency
Our heat went out and the whole unit needed to be replaced. I told these guys that I had a 2 week old newborn, and that we were having issues keeping the house warm enough with space heaters. They really did everything they could to expedite the process, and kept me informed along the way! Great guys, very time efficient. Highly recommend.
I have called numerous times to schedule after the job being assigned to RHC by my home warranty company. They are completely unresponsive to both me and the company. The phone is a personal phone which no one ever answers and you can leave a message which will just go unanswered, Completely unprofessional. Call someone else!
I had Reliance Home Comfort assigned to me by my home warranty, First American. RHC was fantastic. They really kept on top of my home warranty company to ensure the work was approved and the parts were ordered. The owner was very responsive to my calls and knowledgeable about my HVAC units. I had them also replace an inferior thermostat my warranty company had put in last fall with a better unit, which I paid for out of pocket. I was very happy with their work and timeliness. We were having temps in the 90s while my ac was down. So I really appreciated RHC getting the work done and navigating my warranty company they way they did. I would definitely recommend RHC.

I am really suffering for lack of heat. Reliance is connected to my home warranty. They came out about two weeks ago but never put in the order for the repair parts. I have had to be the point man on this unacceptable process. The phone number for reliance goes to Garrets personal number which he seldom picks up and never returns calls. I’m old and cold. If you can find another repair company I would recommend that.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude towards the members of this company. I really appreciate the level of professionalism, quality service and care. In these uncertain times, this experience was by far the best! After 2 other failed attempts with other companies in the area, this company was able to provide my unit with hot water!! Finally!! The knowledgeable techs and communication with the owner put me at ease and I knew I was in good hands they were able to troubleshoot and provide my unit with hot water and explained in detail everything they needed to do to get my unit up and running. They cleaned up, wore masks and gloves which I really appreciated. Thank you so much!!
Robert with Reliance Home Comfort was a 2nd opinion I requested through my warranty company. The 1st local company plumber did not resolve the issue, and did not want to remove the toilet. He partly turned the toilet on its side and took a picture of what he stated was a gasket permanently adhered to the bottom. This guy said I would need to remove it because he could possibly break the ceremic commode, and his company would not pay for it, so he didn't even attempt to do so. Needless to say, the issue was unresolved. Robert was very professional and friendly. He investigated the issue, and removed the commode. It was a plastic coupling attached to the commode, and Robert removed it with a pair of groove pliers in a matter of minutes; he installed the wax ring and the job was done. What a difference a professional, who is willing to work, can accomplish. Job well done! Thank you so much for listening and making a happy customer.
Our real estate company uses Reliance Home Comfort for HVAC and Plumbing issues with all of our properties. This is a reputable company and I have first hand experience dealing with them and the Owner, Derick. He is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his field. I would highly recommend him and his team for any of your service needs. Since we utilize his services, I recommended his team to my sister who desperately needed two new air conditioning units. He went above and beyond and his team worked tirelessly in extreme heat and got the job done in a day. Everyone is very professional. Anyone that gave a negative review must have been having a bad day because this company truly is outstanding. I would not hesitate to contact them for future work.

I was very pleased with Reliance Home Comfort, they got the part early and was able to change the schedule around so we would not be without hot water over the weekend . The employee was very polite and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company
Reliance Home Comfort was sent to fix my leaky pipe by my home warranty. Robert from RHC called the next day and showed up right on time. He found the leak and had to come back the second time as we had to have the ceiling opened up. He came back the second time as soon as we called and again right on time. He even remembered to come in the back door and brought the floor cover as we requested. He fixed the leak in our galvanize pipe with no problem. Robert is very professional, knowledgeable and very polite. I am glad RHC sent him and I will definitely request Robert the next time we need plumbing help.
Honestly the best company in the area. I have an older house and over the years have had numerous plumbing issues. I had multiple companies here that said they fixed the issue and never actually did. However, reliance fixed the problem in a timely manner and I wasn’t left with a empty wallet when they left. I would recommend them to anyone looking for good quality professional work!
It's been several weeks and they still have not called back. update 08/23/20: Reliance called and apologized for not contacting me but my service request was denied by my home warranty company. It's taken some time but I spoke with warranty company and they declined the claim because Reliance Home Comfort said the condition was preexisting. The original claim was to inspect/repair leaking duct work under the house. This summer I have poor airflow in a couple of vents and a ton of cold air flowing out of the crawl space vents. The report Reliance provided my warranty company stated that the duct work was not seated property at the joints and was therefore preexisting... How can they tell that by not going under the house and inspecting the duct work??? Total scam. Out a $100 service call fee. The tech told me he was going to request approval to inspect the duct work but provided a report making it look like they already did. Sorry, cannot recommend dishonest people... The tech verified poor air flow in two vents and strong airflow in all others... I guess they didn't feel like going under the house and looking.. I can't believe I paid a crew $100 to not do their job. Extremely disappointed.
I was given an appointment day and time via email by my home warranty company so I stayed home on July 21 and never heard from or saw anyone. I even got a reminder email that morning. About 30 minutes before the end of the window, I called the home warranty company because I knew the job couldn’t be done in 30 minutes, especially since no one had arrived. I was on hold while Reliance Home Comfort was being contacted and then the music stopped but the time was still running, so I wasn’t disconnected. I ended up hanging up and calling Reliance myself and the lady (I think Dee) who answered explained that they make the appointment not the home warranty company, which makes sense. She told me she would call me that night between 8-10pm, which to me is late for a business. She stated she doesn’t call anyone after 10pm. She even gave me a number to call (251-7402), unless I wrote it down wrong. At 9:45pm, I called and left a message and still haven’t heard from them. I called the home warranty company and canceled my appointment. Why say you are going to do something and don’t? Your word is your bond.
