Reliable replaced a defunct gas boiler with an electric boiler in my old adobe home in Nambe — a big step towards transitioning my energy use from fossil fuels to solar. Reliable’s owner, Angelo Marti, impressed me with his technical knowledge and skills. He is conscientious about the services he provides and runs an honest and well-organized company. I look forward to using Reliable for future projects replacing gas appliances with electric .
Installation of a tankless water system. It involved a complete renovation of the utility room piping, flooring, in floor heating valves, and then installation of a new unit. Done with a minimum of angst and a maximum of explanations of what was being accomplished. Excellent service from all the Reliable people dealing with the installation. Reliable Tech replaced my old furnace with a new furnace/AC split system. They were responsive and courteous and finished the job on time, even with the unforeseen challenges that arise. I would recommend them for your heating. cooling and plumbing needs.
Technicians worked efficiently, quietly, cleaned up afterward, answered questions about installation and were great to work with.

Reliable Tech installed a mini split system that heats and cools my older adobe home, replacing my propane heating system, a few years ago. They came out to check the refrigerant, at my request, on the three compressors. Their response time, within 24 hours, was superb. The technicians were not only knowledgeable and efficient, but polite and friendly as well. I am extremely pleased with Reliable Tech’s products, installation, and now their maintenance.
This is one of the most professional companies I have dealt with after owning five homes. From the initial system design/cost estimate by the owner to the final steps of installing a hybrid heat pump/gas furnace there were clear explanations and quality work. Office support was excellent, on the job installers knowledgeable, thorough and polite. I wish every company I dealt with was Reliable Tech Heating and Cooling.
Reliable Tech did an excellent job providing a wide array of options and then performing removal and replacement of our inefficient furnace with a new complete high efficiency HVAC system. It took a while to get the new components in stock due to supply chain issues, but installation was performed in the time frame proposed, by a very knowledgeable, conscientious, and trustworthy team. I’ll definitely use Reliable Tech for my future HVAC and plumbing needs.

We had purchased a mini-split system from Reliable Tech in 2017. We didn't have major problems with it, and when we had issues they did come out and fix them, however no one told us we needed to have regular maintenance. The other day the heat wouldn't come on at all, and the tech did arrive quickly, cleaned the filters, but said the whole system needed a thorough cleaning in order for problems not to return in a couple of months. The terrible part was the price they quoted, it would have been about $3000.!!! I called around and got 5 other estimates, all MUCH lower. None of the others asked for $589 fee for each unit (we had 3 that needed cleaning) - BEFORE the hourly rate of $159, for what they estimated would be 6 to 9 hours!! Based on this experience I would not recommend this company.
Their techs, Antonio and Steve, were very professional and did a fantastic job.
The job took 2 days and on both days the people installing were polite and on time. The man who finished the job explained everything well and made us feel comfortable about the job being done correctly.
A mini split system at my house stopped working. I called several HVAC companies for advice, including Reliable Tech. One of the other companies gave me a dire scenario and said I had to replace the whole system. Reliable Tech did a thorough inspection, found the problem, found a relatively inexpensive solution, and fixed the mini split at a small fraction of the cost of replacement. I will definitely call Reliable Tech for future HVAC service. Highly recommended.
