I felt compelled to leave this review as I never had such a great experience when it came to resolving plumbling issues. Our water heater went on Tuesday and we happened to noticed right away around 2:38 p.m., my husband called Reliable and they came out right away. They were here around 3:10p.m. same day. Hunter was extremely professional, easy to communicate with him, personable, very knowledgeable. They never asked for a service call fee, he immediately told us the price, recommended a better product. We immediately said to go ahead and within 45 minutes he was back with a new water heater. He promptly installed it, hawl the old one out to take with him and cleaned after himself. He was prompt and efficient. He replaced the copper pipe that had multiple welding from how many times the water heater had been replaced. He also replaced few valves. It looks clean and professional. After installation he explained everything about the water heater and how to trouble shoot different scenarios. He was done by 6 p.m. I have to say, I was very impressed with how prompt and efficient they were (specially Hunter) to resolve our problem. Highly recommend!!!!!

Reliable HVAC saved the day with my outdoor plumbing installation - fixing a couple loose ends from a previous plumber and communicated efficiently with the town’s inspector to get us back on the right track. full outdoor plumbing: sink, toilet, water heater for our outdoor bathroom. I can not say enough about Reliable HVAC from talking with Tony on the phone to schedule our technician Hunter. Hunter took time to explain in a way I could understand what he needed to do, answered all my questions, did not feel rushed. Knowledgeable, professional, courteous. Incredible work, I am so impressed, will never use anyone but “Reliable Plumbing”.

The group of people I have dealt with have been wonderful. I work for a medium size company and everyone at Reliable has been very attentive to my needs and has shown excellent professionalism for all services that they have performed. Plumbing is never fun nor enjoyable like other home renovations, but is a necessary evil and when it comes up it's critical. I've used lots of plumbers in many states, they were always more difficult than the plumbing and moving at the speed of my clog. When I had an unexpected plumbing disaster, the team at Reliable HVAC & Plumbing was able to take on a large project where many other plumbers said no. Their flexibility, speed, and collaborative style made the entire experience joyful. These guys are the next generation of plumbers with high energy, speed, and finesse; highly recommend to anyone who has a challenge with plumbers!
Ian and his team recently did a lot of work for us on our old Victorian home. They replaced the boiler and water heater, replaced a long run of cast iron sewer pipe in the basement, installed 2 toilets, installed a new powder room vanity, installed a new garbage disposal and kitchen faucet, and checked to make sure all of our radiators work (they also did some troubleshooting on the ones that weren't working and got them to work). They did an amazing job. Clearly, Ian and his entire team take great pride in their work and hold themselves to a very high standard. On top of that, they were very kind and respectful to our home. They will be our go-to company in the future. Thank you, Reliable HVAC!

Update Jun 2022: We just noticed that the access panel to our tank is completely rusted because of problem #1 below, caused by Reliable. The manufacturer AO Smith explained that this will lead to heating issues with the tank, and will cover a full product replacement. We will still have to hire a plumber ourselves to drain the tank, uninstall it and install the new one, which will cost another $1,000. Update Dec 2022: After Ian's response below, he texted me and apologized and set up a time to come by. On the day of, he ghosted us and has never responded since. Work was done and inspected but bad experience all around. Would not recommend. 1. Hunter came to install the hot water tank 12/10/21. There was a pipe that he didn't install properly and it started spurting water all over the stuff in my basement. Seemed like an honest mistake, he said he would clean it up and I saw him grab some rags. When I went to check it after he left, most of the stuff was still wet so I ended up cleaning up after him. 2. Hunter agreed that I would pay the balance after the work was inspected by the town ("getting all permits" was literally in the invoice). I get a call from Ian where I repeated this (note that the inspector almost always come out the day you request it). At that point, he immediately turned unpleasant and started accusing me of not paying. The town came the next business day and I paid him promptly. 3. I was still having issues with hot water in the master bathroom (this was the original problem I had, which is why they installed the new tank) and texted him to ask about it. After a brief back and forth, I receive this - "Please don't be texting me a bunch of questions I'm busy working". I'll cut my losses here, not worth it!
Very responsive and easy to reach for question. Worked around our budget to deliver exactly what we needed.
I can’t say enough how happy we are with Reliable HVAC. Ian was responsive, polite and efficient. He gave us a quote on the same day we called. He scheduled the install just a few days later for significantly below other bidders. He finished on time. What more can you ask of an HVAC company? I would definitely recommend them.
