I called Daniel on the weekend with an A/C emergency on the the hottest day of the year and he showed up within the hour, fixed it, and even submitted the part for warrantee himself. Responsive, prompt, professional, and excellent work. Won't be using anyone else other than Daniel in the future.
The technician, Richard, was able to come same day that we called. He explained everything clearly and offered repair options for our AC. It was fixed on the spot for a reasonable price. We are very pleased with their service! The other company we contacted only recommended an expensive replacement for the whole system.

R & D Heating and Air should be your first and only choice for heating and air conditioning. They helped me repair my old system until it could no longer be salvaged and then transitioned me to a new one as painlessly and inexpensive as possible. The communication I received was off the charts. I would receive text and then e-mail updates at the end of the visit. Our system went out at Christmas and the accommodations they made are why I always choose small business owners, especially this business. They care about their customers and their work product. If you read their other reviews it shows that my customer service was not an exception but what they do for all of their clients. I really appreciate that I never once felt like I was being upsold. That they gave me numerous options at different price points, as this type of expense is not something that anyone is ever planning on. They deserve and will earn your business time after time.
Via a recommendation, we gave Richard (R & D) a call after another HVAC company, stood us up. Richard was quick to see us on short notice and he arrived on time for the appointment he set for us. Richard went right to troubleshooting our issue and was quickly came to a solution and a temp fix. Our replacement part arrived over the weekend and Richard made himself available for the install (we were ok with him installing it on the following Monday). After the install, Richard stuck around and answered some questions about some future work. With that, he had one of his associates swing by (a few days later) to work up a quote. Again they made the appointment and showed up on time and provided a down to earth cost for the work we asked them to quote. All of our future HVAC work will be done by R&D as they have earned our trust and understood our sense of urgency when we made our first call. There was never a time of up-selling or trying selling us services that we didn't want. He found the issue, provided a temp fix, and gave us the option to have him order the part at the cheapest cost.
Daniel was very helpful getting my new ac and furnace installed. He was polite and answered all of my constant questions. He helped me work on my quote for a Va grant to ensure my new setup was going to be efficient enough to qualify. Honestly, everything is under warranty, but if there is anything else I need, I will certainly give them my business again. I am brand new to this area, nobody told me of them. I took a chance, and didn't regret it. Thanks R and D HVAC!! UPDATE: Daniel has been back to the house to work on several other appliances. Once again, great service, always on time, and straightforward with you. They will continue to get our business as long as we live in Utah. P.s. We would recommend to any other military or veterans in the area. Its difficult to find quality service that you can trust in new cities. We highly approve of R and D.👍👍 Update: 2022- Daniel has been back out for 2 seperate concerns that I had with my furnace and fireplace. They were out within 24 hours of my call. Great customer service again and prompt arrival. After about a hour Daniel made a few adjustments and explained what he did. I feel very comfortable now that those concerns were explained and fixed. This company does a great job from start to finish. We won't be in Utah much longer but they have been great service while we lived here.

Rich and Daniel are the best! We needed to have the AC and furnace replaced. They were honest in their dealings and were professional. They stayed with the quoted price and did not charge us more. They even had a bad motor in the new system and immediately went out to get a new one to replace it. The work was done in good time and we were back up and running. We really appreciate their work and would recommend them to anyone that needed this type of assistance. Great Job Guys!
By far the BEST Company we have dealt with on anything related to our home. Rich communicates and does what he says he is going to do. They replaced our furnace and A/C units 3 years ago, took care of a recall today and is always free if we have any questions. I highly recommend them if you need to replace and or service your heating a/c unit. Thank you for your top notch service.
We used R and D for our annual check up for years. This year the service guy mentioned our furnace was close to going out. . What I love about this company is there is no sales push at all. It was me asking him questions and deciding I should install new equipment. Their price was the best our there and they actually charged $500 less than the bid -- which is always a good sign. I received instant communication to answer all my questions. Top top company.
