Cleaned, serviced and repaired gas fireplace and installed a fan. On time, friendly, professional, and patiently answered questions and made sure I understood everything. Highly recommend!

Kevin was great....theres a reason hes got 5 star ratings! After being literally deserted by another fireplace repair service, I tried to repair myself...well, that only got me so far....I explained to Kevin my situation, he showed up next day, on time, clean, dressed professionally and prepared...able to correct my problem at a VERY reasonable rate, and did a maintenance cleaning on a desperately needed 12 yr unit! This will be my guy to call for AC or fireplace repairs.....Kevin, hopefully I wont need your services in the future, lol, but if I do, you'll be my first call....THANK YOU! Kevin and his wife are great and have been to my house 3 times this year. Each time they come out they are respectful and are a great each time. Kevin is very knowledgeable about the business and always willing to explain his work and/or process. My biggest complaint and ultimately which led me to tell Kevin I will no longer use him is when he quoted me $465 to replace a fireplace valve. When I asked him for a breakdown of pricing he stated he doesn’t provide breakdowns but rather his quote is a flat fee; I explained as a paying customer I wanted to understand what I was paying. He also stated the flat fee includes, labor, parts, time to research the part and special insurance. Kevin eluded to the fact the quote should’ve been closer to $600 and that his rate are higher because he holds special insurance for gas fireplaces. I found the part on the manufacturers website for $122 with shipping. Still trying to figure out where the remaining $343. There is a price to doing business but this seemed a bit steep especially with no explanation behind it.
They came out to my home quickly and went over everything with my AC unit thoroughly. Def would reccomend this place!
I have used quality controls heating and air conditioning for two service calls now, and I am completely pleased with both the professionalism and knowledge of Kevin. He was both kind and courteous in his dealing with a house full of kids, and with me as I have a naturally inquisitive nature and ask a lot of questions. He has performed both an annual tune-up and a service call for what turned out to be a zone issue. He works fast, he cleaned up the work area after, and explained the issue very clearly to my wife and I. He is trustworthy and I will be calling him back for every annual check up on our unit, and any issues between. In short, I have no issue recommending him to any friend or family member and have full confidence in him that he will provide the same level of service to anyone who calls.

I have been using Quality Controls HVAC for about two years now and it is a pleasure to work with a Company and person (Kevin) who really cares about you as a customer. His business part of his operation is excellent, responsive, on-time, professional and efficient billing and payment system. Of course the technical/skills part of the business are high quality. Whenever I have an HVAC issue the problem is thoroughly diagnosed and repaired. Kevin is a true professional at what he does, a trusted business I can turn to for my heating and air conditioning needs.
My experience working with Kevin was truly exceptional from start to finish! Called Quality Controls HVAC late in the afternoon about the lack of cool air on our main level, and he told me they'd try and squeeze me in same day. Showed up shortly and walked me through everything from the original diagnosis (refrigerant leak), repair/replacement options, and a detailed cost explanation of every aspect of his recommended solution. Upfront + reasonable pricing, no upselling, and truly knowledgeable in a way that made me feel comfortable making the right decisions. Kevin cares about his customers and it truly shows...couldn't recommend him highly enough!
Kevin called me back - on a Sunday - within an hour or so of contacting them! He asked questions over the phone before coming by the house to determine what the issue possibly could be. He then stated that although he was going to be at another job site, he wanted to at least give me some advice on what he felt the culprit was and also said he would call me back to check on me. Sure enough, his advice was spot on, and when he called back to check, the issue had been resolved! If you are looking for a RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY company for your HVAC needs, this is the place to call!!
Kevin @ Quality Controls H & A/C was patient, prompt , friendly, and professional. He did exactly as we asked and got our A/C unit properly cooling within a matter of minutes.

Very fast, honest service - extremely affordable, too! Kevin was able to make it to our house the same day, fixed our heating issue quickly while at the same time explaining to me what the problem was and what to do if it happened again. I would highly recommend and will definitely use this company again if I ever have any HVAC issues!
