What can I say, I’m typing this review at 10pm on Christmas Eve. That says it all. After a 12 hour shift, I came home to no heat and my thermostat reading 37 degrees. Of course nobody’s going to make a house call at night on Christmas Eve. Well, Paul did. After calling everyone in the valley, hoping somebody would answer the phone, and leaving messages with every “on-call” technician I could, Paul answered. Not 20 minutes passed before I heard a knock on my door. If you want reliable, call Q1. If you want a guy who knows what he’s doing, call Q1. Paul’s the man.
Q1 went above and beyond to get my furnace replaced. Worked tirelessly with my home warranty to get them to approve cost of replacement. Had the unit installed and heat on in one day. His services were worth every penny and more. Absolutely recommend and I will be using this company for all my future heating and water needs.
We called enstar they came out and found a gas leak. I posted on a Facebook group who to use after calling two companies who were booked and Paul was quick to respond. I called him right then sent him pictures from enstar and explained what enstar told us. He came out that day figured out the problems and had a temporary fix so we could have heat. He got all the parts and was back super quick to get everything fixed for us. He is honest and straight forward no bs no games. He explained everything to us showed us everything he was talking about and walked us through each step of what he was going to do. Paul is now my go to for anything that needs to be done. And I have CO poison as well from this leak and the care this man has to make sure we were safe is amazing. I have never seen that with any other company.
Paul has gone above and beyond in assisting us with repairs and mitigation from damages sustained during the severe storm and power outages over New Years. His expertise and tenacity has kept our boiler functioning. His professionalism relieved the tremendous amount of anxiety and stress I was under due to the disaster Palmer sustained.

Paul was awesome he came on a Sunday afternoon when I got a hold of him. He knew what he was doing ,what needed to be done to my heater. He was here approximately 2 hours he didn't charge any of that double overtime special delivery on Sunday wife was making cookies and he did say he was coming back tomorrow for cookies LOL flat out very nice gentleman he's a veteran and a working man so he knows how that is I highly recommend him and I will definitely use him any time I need heater or refrigeration work done
During our new home renovations we found a water line that hadn't been crimped down all the way. Q1 happened to be in the area when I called. Paul dropped by, crimped the line, and we were able to continue our kitchen remodeling work. Thanks! Later we brought Q1 back to repair and improve the performance of our on-demand hot water and boiler heating system. Paul is quick to offer suggestions on ways to save money and make improvements, but not pushy. You can tell he genuinely makes an effort to do what's best for customers.
Paul is an extremely knowledgeable mechanic and a very trustworthy person as well. My hot water tank started to leak earlier this past week and I immediately gave Q1 Mechanical Services a call. Paul was working a job, but came to my house immediately after and quickly diagnosed all the problems. Although he had other work scheduled for the week, he made time after work to replace my hot water tank and some other issues I was having with my boiler system. He completed all the work very quickly and my hot water has not run out since he left. After all the work was complete I checked some forums and figured out that it would have cost me more than 3 times as much money if I called any other plumber or mechanic. Paul is a great guy and a great mechanic. I would highly recommend his services to anyone in the valley and will definitely be using him in the future. Mike P
Paul was absolutely amazing!! We called him as so many people had his company listed on the facebook page Mat-su who to use. He showed up within an hour of calling him to help fix our furnace. A house full of kiddos and no heat in the middle of winter is no fun!! He was kind, professional and got us up and running without it costing us an arm and a leg. We will never use anyone else for our heating and plumbing needs!!!! Thank you Paul!!

Paul is simply the best. He came out that same night I called. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to get the heat going again quickly. He is very friendly and professional. While talking he shared lots of different pointers for other repairs we had going at the time. The amount he charged for service was very reasonable and fair. He did a great job and I highly recommend him.
Paul was very quick to respond to my request for services. He went above and beyond to diagnose an issue and even called a State Inspector to verify his opinion. He saved my clients a few thousand dollars by showing that the original contractor's suggestions for repairs were unnecessary. I will absolutely recommend him to clients in the future!
