So I met with 4 HVAC contractors over the last 6 months and after all my research I chose Pro Tech. Marty was so refreshing, quoted me a fair price, provided excellent service, air blowing cold and I'm so happy at my decision. He gave me the best service that I could imagine dealing with something like this. His staff was great as well, cleaned up immediately and very polite. Highly recommend them. Will use them when my other unit goes out.
Y'all I'm not gonna lie I was scared. My AC quit working. It was 79 degrees in my house. My 88 year old mother lives with me so this was not gonna work. I filled out the online request for service on Monday night. The next morning I received a call from Renae. She was pleasant and helpful. She scheduled a technician to come out the same day. Cameron, the technician, showed up as scheduled, even with me having to call and push back the appointment. He appeared professional and was polite. He diagnosed the problem quickly and quoted an extremely reasonable price to repair. . The repair was done on the spot, he had the parts he needed on hand. I could not be more pleased. This could have been a lengthy and expensive repair. I will praise Protech from here on out! I greatly appreciate the honesty, integrity and professionalism I received from Renae and Cameron at ProTech.
Best Customer Service. Great experienced Technicians, very knowledgeable.
Tech came out today after my wife called. It was on Sunday and we were very grateful someone could come help us bc our AC was out. Came within the hour. Got us up and running in no time and we were very grateful. I spoke to Marty the owner very professional helped me out greatly and made my problem personal. It was a simple fix. The capacitor was out. I knew what the issue was but unfortunately due to it being Sunday all parts hardware stores were closed. Thanks guys for helping us. Recommend to friends and family good company and stand by their word and work.
From initial contact to the replacement of the damaged part was handled flawlessly. Thanks to Ross for making the initial contact and connecting us with Renee who scheduled our appointment quickly. Ray was extremely knowledgeable, professional and patient in resolving our problem. Other techs we used didn’t compare as they gave up in diagnosing the issue. Appreciate the great teamwork and excellent communication delivered by Protech!
The technicians are prompt, courteous, well trained and professional. They treat all customers like family. Fair & Upfront Prices. Without a doubt Best in the Business!
There were no surprises I didn't have to buy a new unit the performance of the unit is much better they did everything they said they were going to do
Loved how thoughtful they were, my mom is in her 90’s and has a 30 year old system and 1000 questions. They serviced unit, spent time with her and answered many questions. Pretty sure when this unit goes Mom will want Pro Tech. Thank you Judy
We hired Protech Heating & Air Conditioning a year ago when there was a water leak in my AC unit. The technician arrived on time , fixed the problem & they did cross-sell the yearly maintenance plan showing a reduction on the current service charge and some preventive care benefits. They did the routine maintenance check a couple of months ago and saw no issue with the AC units. Last week we noticed no cooling effect on the unit and called the company to take a look at the issue. They did the diagnosis and quoted a price for $2200 to replace the evaporator coil. I felt the price quote was abnormal . I did some research on the internet. Contacted another company (who was the original installer of the units) for a price quote for the suggested diagnosis. They said it would be $750. I talked to the owner of 'Protech Heating' and he was very nice talking saying that they will give only they package price and no break up on parts & labor etc. He suggested the best service he could do for me is to let me go with the other company for doing this service. I appreciated his gesture but it did not last long. He sent an invoice for the service charge of $88.00 . I tried to get a waiver or price reduction on that one but it did not work. On the side note the new company found other problems, not diagnosed by Protech. Lesson learnt : Getting a maintenance plan from these types of companies will not be beneficial. There is no proof that it would prevent the occurrence of major problems . You will falsely trust them and let them do the job at a high price if you are not watchful.
What a great company! First off, the customer service is always consistent. I have had to call twice for service aside from the regular maintenance, and have always been treated with nothing but the most professional/knowledgeable staff. The quality of service is always on point.
Such amazing and timely service! Called early Saturday morning- they had someone out in about an hour. Our technician, Matthew, was kind and diligent. Even though he had to break some bad news to us (I think he was more disappointed than we were) he went over all our options and made sure we felt confident in the decision we made. I would recommend their services to anyone! Thank you to everyone on the team that made our experience a pleasant one.
Marty and the folks at ProTech always go above and beyond the call of duty. Whenever there is a problem, we get same day service by courteous and responsive techs. Our 1965 house always had a second floor that ran 3-5 degrees warmer than the rest of the house. Marty installed zones that solve our problem. I highly recommend ProTech!
Excellent service! We replaced two AC units with ProTech and couldn’t be happier - punctual, professional, with attention to detail.
Ross Hayley of Protech came to our home after I had all ready talked to a different company that we`ve had for years and found a issue that could have caused a fire in my home that the other company didn`t even notice. he insisted on fixing it for free. gave us a quote to repair or replace our system our choice no pressure.price was lower than other company and we were very comfortable with him in our home we decided to replace the whole system Ross came out on time and did the install quickly and left our home cleaner and much warmer when he left.thank you Ross.
Very dependable company. From the person that answers the phone at the office to the Techs they send to your house, they are all very nice and professional.
It seems as if people write reviews because they had a poor experience or an 'above and beyond' experience. I am writing for neither. My review for ProTech Heating and Air Conditioning comes not from one experience but rather from years and years of trusted and excellent service. They helped our aging system stay in operation well beyond its 'life span' and when it came time to bite the bullet and install a new one, they really did a great job showing and educating us on our options, taking time to fully understand our usage, how much longer we plan on being in our home and more. David Fullem and his team are amazing.
I have been a customer of ProTech since 2012 when they installed a new Trane system at my InTown home. Marty was the only one who actively searched for a solution that would meet the unique challenges encountered in my historic home. My HVAC system has been working well since then, and I am a repeat customer for HVAC installs during a recent renovation. The customer service is outstanding, including the installation techs and front office staff.
I hired these guys to replace both systems in my home and to help with humidity and air flow issues I was having. Marty Gildemeyer, the owner, came out twice and worked up a detailed estimate to replace my old units and to install a zoned system with additional ductwork in the lower level. He said it would solve the humidity problem. They did the work in March, 2015 for $14,000. Marty installed RUUD equipment but told me it didn't matter what it says on the box, what matters it "what it says on the truck." Yeah, right. Things were fine in summer, but come fall the humidity problem returned in the ground floor. Then we started getting a dirty sock smell from the downstairs A/C. Three trips out by technicians and no solutions presented. Marty dodges my emails and calls. I finally hired a respectable HVAC company to rip-out some of the junk Marty sold me and to fix the problem.....the problem Marty and ProTech Mechanical Systems would not even acknowledge. Now I have a a bunch of A/C equipment not even one year old in my garage for sale on Craigslist. I paid more in the long run than if I had hired a respectable contractor in the first place. Lesson learned. I would never hire these guys again and cannot recommend them.
