Professional service provided by a courteous and competent technician
Ted was extremely professional and clean. He was quick and answered all our questions. We were extremely pleased with his work.
Ted is terrific! Very knowledgeable and friendly! He asked how the heating system was working to make sure all was good in the house, not just the AC . They're excellent!
Dan was a highly skilled technician who explained and accomplished needed repairs to my ac system. He will be coming back for plumbing repairs needed in my bathroom. Many thanks for the good job!

After a week of no air, during a brutal heatwave, these guys stepped up and saved the day. As Teddy was leaving, having completed the job quickly and professionally, my wife whispered “I could hug that man”, and I felt the same! Everyone at the company was amazing and professional and were the solution to an otherwise horrific week. First, a little background. We were very happy with our previous AC company, but they unfortunately retired in the past year. Our central air broke late on a Saturday night. We reached out to about a dozen companies that night, figuring few, if any, would respond on a weekend. Proactive Home Services was one of only two companies to call us back. However, since they called Monday morning, we had already gone with the “other” company that had called Sunday night. Huge mistake, as that other company dragged their feet and were non committal on when they could come see us. While we were in limbo as to when that company could come (“maybe” Monday, “probably” Tuesday, etc) we asked Mike from Proactive if he could pencil us in on Wednesday as a backup appointment. He said he couldn’t, because that wouldn’t be fair to other potential customers, which is absolutely the right and professional call (the heat was making us desperate!). He did say we should keep in touch should the other company fall through. On Tuesday evening, the other company came and determined our board was completely fried, as everything had originally frozen over and created water damage to the board. They said that they could not guarantee any timeline for when the board would come in. Best case scenario was the board coming Thursday, but Friday, or even Monday (what?) was possible. Furthermore, we couldn’t schedule an appointment with the hope of the board being in. The board would have to come first, and then, if there were still appointment slots left, we could then call and schedule. Oh, and there was no chance of them working on the weekend. We were
Could not say more about the service excellence that comes from Proactive Home Services. I signed up for their service contract which gives you amazing discounts and seasonal offers, including annual maintenance on your heating and cooling systems. I've had a lot of issues over the years with my aging boiler and central AC and Proactive has been there every step of the way! Once I lost heat in the dead of winter and they came after hours to get my heat on and running. The team is professional and have worked with the company for years, so you get the same people year after year that really know your home and systems. They respect your home, keep their work area clean and they make great reccomendations. I highly reccomend the annual service contract which gives you free labor and you only pay for parts and get VIP appointments.
Excellent customer service. Danny the service rep took the time and explained what should be done . All work was completed in a timely manner. Highly recommend using them.
I would highly recommend Proactive Home Services for A/C or Heating services.The service technician Teddy was very prompt and arrived on the scheduled time. Teddy was very professional and performed a very through job for our A/C tune-up.He answered all of our questions and was polite and courteous. I give Proactive a 5 star rating
They responded quickly and were so very nice as well. Ted was clear about my furnace “issues” and Alyssa on the phone was very understanding. It’s very comforting to know that they are there for me to rely on. I would definitely recommend them ... as my son did to me. He used them to install a whole new system in his house and was very happy.
I originally contacted Mike from Proactive Home Service in 2017 when I needed a full house system. Mike and Dan went beyond my greatest expectations. They provided honest, professional and meticulous work installing a brand new air conditioning system in my home. I will continue to use them, and will recommend them to friends and family for their phenomenal service. UPDATE: April 5, 2021, I reached out again to Mike and Dan for more work I needed done and as usual they did outstanding work. Save yourself time researching for the BEST HVAC guy, Proactive Home Service is the BEST!!!
Breakage in water pipe in basement with water pouring out. Immediate advice from a call back to shut off water supply to home Service call for repair was immediate and repair made promptly Mike, our service representative was a gentlemen and a pleasure to have do the job We have this wonderful company servicing. our AC, Furnace yearly, They have replaced our water heater, A/C units (2), and Furnace in the past years. have found them dependable, priced right, and courteous. Would never consider another company
I use Proactive for maintenance and repairs. They are always on-time, communicate well, and get the job done! Recently I had an issue with an AC part. Mike & the team took the time to figure out the problem which involved sitting on the phone with the manufacturer for what seemed like hours until the issue was diagnosed. Then, once the part was delivered, they called and installed it. You can trust Proactive to follow through and get things working! I highly recommend them!
What a great service for heating, cooling and plumbing. I switched tho Proactive 2 years ago and would never go back. They are always timely, and considerate. I highly recommend their service plan.
We’ve used Proactive a few times in recent months for a number of issues and they are outstanding. The first was a replacing gas pipe for our dryer and unclogging our bathtub, second was a broken kitchen faucet, and third was steam radiator issue in a bathroom. Each time, Proactive was incredibly responsive, they could usually schedule an appointment for the next day, the receptionist was always friendly and accommodating, they sent a message when they were dispatching with a photo and name of the technician, showed up on time and got the job done. We’ve had Ted help us most of those times and he’s been very professional and personable. For the radiators, the owner came and went around the house checking to see if all of our radiators were working, so they went above and beyond. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, reasonably priced plumbing services.
After not having my gas burner serviced for over twenty years (I know, not a good thing), I was lucky enough to discover Proactive Home Services. At first, I just wanted to have my burner checked because it was long overdue. Besides a very warm greeting from their receptionist, they sent a technician named Ted. After a thorough inspection and a few minor adjustments, I got the "all's good" from Ted. I was SO satisfied with every aspect of this company, that I immediately inquired about a service contract. The price was so reasonable and included a FREE fall startup inspection! In fact, I didn't even have to remember to call them. The office called ME to schedule an inspection. Again, Ted came, and now I can go into those cold winter months ahead of us with peace of mind. I highly recommend this company for not only their professionalism, but their courteousness as well.
I have been a customer with Proactive for a number of years. Found all the technicians and office staff to be professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. The benefit is they service both air conditioning and heating equipment.
Have been with this company for about 4 years now, and they have always been prompt and professional a company that you can trust. Ted has been the tech that's been servicing my heating system and he's always been prompt and courteous, I would highly recommend Proactive.
