Following the lead of many neighbors, I called Blake to check out a room that was being temperamental with conditioned air. Within hours he was over to troubleshoot, made adjustments, and recommended some additional options. Very professional and thorough!
First, in this crazy summer, we were scheduled the same week we called. Second, on time and thankfully found the problem in less than 5 minutes! Could not be more pleased and highly recommend Pro Tech!
Blake was able to diagnose my AC issue, which turned out to be a leaking coil. He topped off freon to allow the system to cool better until the part came in. He advised when the part was in and we scheduled a time to install, which he was on time and communicated well. We appreciated his friendliness, professionalism, community, and flexibility to adjust to our schedules. Highly recommend Blake for all your HVAC needs!

Besides being courteous and patient, Blake was extremely knowledgeable in his field. I had taken a quote for HVAC work from another agency before landing on Blake. Not only did my work get done in few thousands less but Blake also made sure that there is workaround for the system to be running till he could source the needed components. Needless to say this was not the approach with the previous vendor. Would highly recommend and would back for future work.
My unit stopped cooling in the middle of the night. I texted Blake early in the morning and he stopped by at 7am without hesitation Blake knew exactly where to go for the fix and was done within 15 minutes. He replaced the bad capacitor and I’m sitting here in my chilly house at 7:30am. Blake is honest and very responsive. Give his service a try, you won’t be disappointed!
Pro Tech Mechanical has performed seasonal service for me in the past and has always been professional and provided service at a fair price. Recently my elderly father had an AC system failure in the worst of the Texas heat after being scammed by another service. I called Pro Tech and the owner Blake responded to my father’s house the same evening, quickly found the issue and made the repair as well as address a few other items that needed attention. Recently had Blake Stowell at Pro Tech Mechanical out to service our HVAC system. I called him because a previous American Home Services Warranty contractor apparently failed to add enough refrigerant when they replaced a part in order to totally recharge the system to factory specs. Blake got our system up and running perfectly. Bottom line, I can’t say enough good things about Blake. I wholeheartedly recommend him for your HVAC needs.
