I got three mini splits installed in our condo earlier this year with Precision Air. It was a big job because of how our HOA wanted things set up and it took two full days but all the guys were super nice, respectful, and professional. They left our place clean when they left and they were here on time every day and just did a great job overall. Our mini split ACs are the best investment I've made! Especially as our summers get warmer. I had received about 5-6 quotes from different companies and these were by far the best.
Our furnace decided to quit working during some very cold days. This was the first time we have used Precision Air and were quite impressed that we were able to get an appointment so quickly. Damian was the tech that arrived. He very courteously listened to my husband explain what he thought might be the problem then he got to work. He immediately put his tools to work and was extremely efficient and knowledgeable in what he was doing. Fortunately for us it was a simple solution which he quickly resolved. We won’t hesitate to use this company in the future. One other item: when my husband called the Poway office, he spoke to a lady named Betsy who was also very pleasant and helpful in setting up our appointment. So our thanks to Damian and Betsy for making this a good experience for us!
I called Precision Air and got an appointment the next day. Hanson came to the house and we quickly came up a with a list of options. He got the quote to me the same day. After doing some additional investigation , I decided to go with a Trane heat pump and Precision Air had a good price and I was confident they knew what they were doing. Hanson came out with the installation team Jose, Buddy and Marco to support the team and ensure the work was going as planned. Jose and team are experienced installers. They worked efficiently and clean up diligently each day. Jose started up the system, dialed in the superheat and talked me through the set up of thermostat. The XV20i heat pump, Tam9 variable speed air handler and Comfort Link II1050 thermostat cooled the house 15 degrees in 15 minutes and then heated back up just as quickly. I was very impressed by the performance of the system and greatly appreciate the professionalism demonstrated by Hanson, Jose, Buddy and Marco.
We are very pleased with the new FAU Precision AC installed for us. Javier, Miguel and Michael were excellent. Also the office staff I spoke with were extremely pleasant and professional
James was very professional and efficient. We had a heating maintenance call and repair for a blower motor capacitor this morning. Precision booked our appt in a timely manner and all went well. I highly recommend them for your heating services.
James did a great job in cleaning my Fujitsu mini split of mold. I am hoping the procedure he performed is the answer. I realize this may need to be performed every six months and happy to have James to clean. James took the time to explain and show me. I will send another review after a couple weeks to confirm the mold is gone and the air is clear
We are so pleased with the fantastic job from start to finish with the team at Precision Air. They installed a new Trane HVAC system into our home and were very professional, their team worked well together and were there to answer all our questions. We highly recommend this company and the Trane equipment. We are loving our new cool, and clean air home! Thanks!
Eric, James, Juan, and Javier did a great job installing our new air conditioning system. They were the most responsive A/C company we talked to. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering air conditioning. Awesome job guys!
It was the positive reviews that convinced us to go with Precision Air and those reviews were indeed, spot-on. They replaced two HVAC units for us and added Ecobee thermostats. If things like having your home protected from damage, being able to enjoy a gracious team who are great communicators and show a high level of professionalism are important to you...look no further. You know you got a great crew when you’re sad to see ‘em go. Jose, Miguel, Buddy, Julio and the others…great guys, a real class-act. I highly recommend Precision Air.
We had a great experience with Precision Air! We got several quotes from other companies. Not only was Precision Air the most competitive bid, they also had the quickest timeframe to install! They even bumped up the initial install time by like a week which was fantastic. We saved about $800 in total and got installation done in just over a week when we were told it would take at least two months to install by all the other companies. Everyone from the company was fantastic to deal with. They were all professional, efficient, friendly and helpful! Special shout out to Hansen, Sam, José & Julio who specifically helped us and made sure install was done quickly (within one day) and even cleaned up after themselves. Could not recommend this company more! Thank you, thank you!
Nicholas C came over today to fix our A/C that smelled like a locker room. Fantastic service !! Nick is super friendly and quick service!! He communicated each step of the way, making sure to test the install to my satisfaction before calling the job complete. Would absolutely call this company for future work. Service above and beyond. I needed to replace our decades old HVAC ducting and after getting 3 bids from highly rated companies, Precision Air - Encinitas not only gave us the lowest bid but also the most detailed one. The whole team was excellent, from Michael who gave us the initial inspection and quote, to the installation team of Eric, Mike, Juan, Sam and Miguel. The results were excellent and the new airflow remarkably improved. I wish we had done it sooner! Many thanks Precision Air for a job well done!
Julio, Miguel, James, Jesse, Michael are amazing. Their customer-oriented approach was such a pleasure to work with. In less than one day, they installed an air conditioner, heater, and thermostat. They were absolute professionals, protecting our house as if it were their own. I highly recommend this crew.
It is the coldest week in San Diego and my heating system stopped working. My regular place diagnosed the system but said it would take two weeks for me to be warm again. At the recommendation of my friend Dustin, I called Precision Air at 8:08 a.m. on a Thursday. Amanda answered and had someone out to my house that afternoon to look at my 22 year old system. They provided me an excellent quote for a new install and on Tuesday I had heat. What was really impressive was the care and professionalism of the install technicians. They put down tarps, kept the area clean and were able to remove and replace my old system which was in a super tight space. They were even able to improve on the prior installation. Eric, Mike and Sam were truly great installers. I didn't realize how poor my old system was until this one was installed. The fan strength is two or three times my old system. Which should also help make the A/C work even better in the summer. Hooray! I will call Precision Air for any HVAC needs in the future. Thank you!
Customer service is great, Roxanne is very professional and helpful. Arturo was a very methodical and careful worker and Michael a great sales rep who took extra time to understand the specific needs. And.... It took MANY (six or seven???) visits over several weeks (mid February to late April) to determine the problem, replace, and re-replace my system. My home may have been a particularly difficult case. If you have a tight spot to fit a unit, another company may have a better idea of how to address the issue. I was bummed that my toilet seat was left chipped in three places after work in my furnace (in my bathroom) where heavy machinery or tools had been dropped. Update: 7/23/20 In response to question. Yes, my toilet seat was replaced, thank you. The three star review was for the several weeks it took to solve the problem, as noted in my review before February-April. Everyone was lovely to work with, as I noted above. 11/23/2020 I would like to update my previous response. I called Precision air to repair a problem with my unit. Every single person was quick to help, kind, and the worker was in and out within a half hour. I was also pleased to find out that the service was free of charge because of maintenance. I am very pleased with this company and their service.
I called and scheduled for someone to come out and look at my unit. I was told their next opening was in 2 weeks so I said okay. The day rolls around and no one showed up for the time window I was given. When I called no one had even put me on the schedule and the employee informed me that they didn't even work on what I have. I took a whole day off from work for this...
This is the second time/home that we’ve used Precision. Our first instance was when I was 8 months pregnant and the owner, Steve, came out and made my pregnant AC dreams come true in a matter of days! Now, with a new house and a three year old, Amanda and Michael worked some sort of magic and helped our family again. Precision Air is local (Encinitas), competitively priced, professional, and genuinely upstanding people. I would recommend them over and over again!
We were having issues with our unit only blowing air without the cold feeling. We looked at many options through google and Yelp. This company had a few things that stood out: giving you various affordable options and timeliness. The reviews were spot on. For us, they were able to come out within a day on some of the hottest days last summer and repaired on-site. They also checked our filters and other items as proactive measures. They were affordable and provided great service as well. We will definitely use them again in the future... when we need the service again.
