I had two units break down after I could not get the installers to service them. PRAIR was out before the initial deadline and had them running the day after the I initial visit, they are now the people servicing the units and I could not be more satisfied.
Travis was informative, professional, and did an excellent job installing a mini-split unit we needed for our basement area. He went above and beyond to assure us we were getting the best deal. Will be using his services again!
Travis overall was a wonderful humble HVAC owner. As we received three quotes as a good rule of thumb everyone told us to replace the system. Getting ready to replace the system I said let me give this guy a chance, literally the BEST decision I ever made. He came in knowing everything I said and took the time and literally said it just needed a piece replacement not the whole HVAC. Instead of chasing the monetary value of life, he was humble and saved us a lot of money amd he takes pride in his work! I 10/10 recommend him to anyone!
As a REALTOR/Broker at BHHS Yost & Little Realty, I recently reached out to Prair to schedule an HVAC inspection for our client who was purchasing a home in the Triad. I had the pleasure of speaking with Travis Walker, who proved to be highly responsive, courteous, and professional throughout the process. When we needed to reschedule the inspection, Travis was accommodating and went out of his way to help. He arrived promptly for the inspection, and conducted a thorough assessment before walking the client through the results and answering all their questions. The invoice and report arrived promptly via email, and Prair's fair pricing and local roots only further cemented our confidence in the company. Overall, I had an extremely positive experience with Prair and would highly recommend their services. I look forward to partnering with them again in the future!
Travis Walker ,owner and manager, installed a new high efficiency complete HVAC system at one property and serviced 3 other units. Excellent workmanship, competitive pricing, attention to cleanup, good communication. Went beyond typical standard of service that is to return within 48hrs to insure system was functioning properly and answer any additional questions. He utilized a good team for the installation with cudos to Shannon Williams. This young man and his colleagues will certainly be called on for repair, maintenance, installations, of my multiple residential and commercial properties.

Travis came out to check on our AC unit which had tanked out on us a couple of days earlier. It had been close to 90° in our home the prior day and I was afraid, going into the Easter weekend, that I wouldn't be able to find a technician to even give me an estimate until the next week. Although I was a new client, and he had ongoing jobs at the time, he still made it a point to make sure we were taken care of. He was professional, honest and gave me a more than reasonable fair rate. I will most definitely be referring my friends and family to him. If there were more stars on the rating scale, he'd have more stars!
Called one day, came out next day, checked what was needed and fully installed new inside and outside heat pump and did some repairs under the house. Honest and professional. Highly recommend.
Travis was quick and efficient to deal with. We had two other quotes and Travis was able to beat them competitively. Under warranty with the manufacturer we replaced the coils of our air handler. Travis really did make this a smooth process, he kept good communication via phone calls and text message and kept me/us updated on each stage of the repair. We would absolutely recommend Travis and will be utilizing his services in the future.
I had PRAIR install a new HVAC unit. Mine was 20 years old and did not want to sink money into a unit that old. Travis came out and had me up and going in no time. Travis is always professional and really goes the extra mile. I have used PRAIR in the past and have always been extremely impressed with his work. Will definitely use PRAIR for all my HVAC work and maintenance.

PRAIR Replaced the heat exchanger in our gas furnace. The old heat exchanger had a crack in one of the pipes. Travis came out and gave us a second opinion. He confirmed that the exchanger was bad and could He found a new part that matched our furnace exactly. We gave travis the go ahead to replace the unit. Travis ordered the part and installed it the next day. Everything went smoothly the furnace was back up and running the same day. The cracked pipe could have caused carbon dioxide to leak imto the house. We signed up for annual spring and fall unit inspections.
Travis is the best!! Came out same day I called.Diagnosed the problem that another company the day before misdiagnosed . He fixed the problem and was very nice and professional. Thanks
Travis was great!! Anwsered on the first ring, gave an ETA and even called to let us know he was on the way. He quickly got the job done so we were back in the AC in no time, he also explained why our system had quit working as he repaird it. Will be using PRAIR for all of our future HVAC needs! Travis Walker of PRAIR Heating & Air Conditioning is very knowledgeable and does high quality work. He was able to come to my home the day I called and did not charge extra. I could not afford all of the repairs that he diagnosed, so he gave me several options to get my air working. He explained everything to me in terms that I could understand, thus I could make an informed decision as to what I could afford. He later provided me with a break down of what repairs I would need to make my AC & heat run most efficiently and notes as to an order of most important repairs, considering my budget. As a self employed technician, Travis Walker is able to offer customized service without the flat fees like big companies charge just for showing up. Travis Walker is honest. He will charge you fairly and will take your budget into consideration, as in giving you options. I very highly recommend PRAIR Heating & Air Conditioning.

Our outside heat pump decided to fail on the coldest week of the season. We had several companies come out and give estimates for both repair and replacement of the system. Prair gave the least expensive estimate and installed our new system the next day. Even on a Saturday. Travis was professional and timely, and communicated with us through the entire project. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and warm as soon as possible. I would hire this company again in a heartbeat. 5 stars!
