Powell and Turner installed a new HVAC in my home. The entire process went smoothly from the initial call. After the initial inspection Wayne provided a competitive, thorough estimate in a timely manner. A deposit was made to secure the equipment for the job and an install date was scheduled. The crew showed up, explained the process and immediately went to work. Drop cloths were placed on the carpet and the work spaces were kept neat and orderly. When the install was complete the technicians tested the unit and gave me an overview of the new equipment and the work that was performed. The crew was very efficient and focused. Quality employees that clearly take pride in their work! The communication was very good throughout the whole process and everything went as planned. I would definitely recommend Powell and Turner.

I have had these guys install and service my heating and cooling units for the last several years. They are absolutely great to work with. They show up on time ready to work when they promise they will show up. I get all the work done and all of my questions answered and I don't have a worry in the world! You can't ask for more than that!
Barry came to inspect my duct work. A contractor needed to disconnect the ducts in order to install spray foam and after the work was done I discovered cold air was leaking directly into the attic. Barry did a very thorough investigation and explained the situation in detail, answered my many questions and even drew me a map of where all the ducts are located. I’m grateful to him. He was very professional and a joy to talk to. Office staff are courteous and efficient as well. P&T is just a great company.

We had three other companies provide quotes before we chose P&T. In contrast to the other companies, who just wanted to replace our AC compressor and air handler, P&T advised us that the ducts in our attic were not the correct size, which caused the AC to be less efficient even before it totally broke down. P&T gave us a detailed quote, explained everything, and quoted us thousands less than the other companies even with the additional duct work (other companies were only going to replace the unit). They came on time, were extremely professional, and we could not be more pleased. Thank you, P&T!
They were very good. Malik came out and fixed the problem, then we noticed a small problem with noise, and Wayne came out and adjusted the fan. Everything is great now, thanks to both Malik and Wayne for awesome service and kindness!
We have used Powell and Turner for the past 5 years and we are extremely happy with their service. They installed our HVAC system and service it each year. They always provide a great value and their techs are always polite and very knowledgeable. Just last week, on a Saturday, we had the switch to our furnace burn out. We didn’t know what the issue was as to why our furnace wasn’t working. We left a voicemail to Powell and Turner and within an hour we received a call back and the owner was on his way to our house. He was able to fix the electrical switch and our heat was back on by noon that day, it was the best case scenario and with a 7 week old and a toddler at home we were very thankful to have the heat back on so quickly. I highly recommend them!
I had Powell & Turner come out to clean my ductless units and they were very professional and fair priced. I couldn’t believe how dirty these units get over time!

We've been with P&T for 10+ years, and love their responsiveness. We have annual contracts with them, and it's not only saved us from failures during extreme weather, they've been spot-on in diagnosing issues before they became failures. Their technicians have always been clean, professional, and disciplined. We've only experienced one minor slip in all this time, and they rectified it quickly. We use them for our home, as well as our rental properties. In fact, as I write this, they are providing one-hour response time to an AC issue one of our tenants are having. All thumbs up!!!

Recently had a crew from Powell & Turner to my home for a central A/C install. They arrived as scheduled and were very professional and friendly. Eric, Devon, and Will did the install in under 5 hours. They worked liked pros and really did a fine job. I was very pleased with my choice of Powell & Turner for this job and would recommend them to my friends. The cost was very reasonable and actually a good deal less than the 3 previous estimates I received. Thanks again folks!
Powell and Turner came highly recommended among members of my community. Courteous and professional, but not great with communication. Their “fix” lasted less than one month, but are clear to state they won’t guarantee their work. Seems they recommend just enough to potentially fleece you for more money later. I will not recommend using them. Prices are higher than other HVAC maintenance and repair competitors, and their staff seem to have no intention of making this customer feel valued.
Wayne and his team are bar none the best out there. They are honest, fair, and timely, and I have recommended them to several friends who have also received top-notch care and service. I'm so thankful for Powell & Turner for their service at our home over the last 10 years!
Powell and Turner have done two major jobs for me recently: 1. Cleaned my vents 2. Replaced my old AC/Heating system with a new 2-stage (for both heating and cooling) system. I’m happy to report that I was quoted a reasonable price for both of these services. On both occasions, the guys showed up, I showed them what was where, and then almost no further input was required. The cleanings and installations went pretty smoothly and were both initiated and completed on time. Before they left, we walked through the house and inspected the changes together and checked that the system worked. I did have one problem that I noticed a few weeks later: the thermostat was not recognizing the second stage for the cooling unit so it never went to full power on hot days. Getting this resolved was also entirely straightforward. I called up Powell and Turner and described what I thought was the problem. They promised to check with their technical specialists and called me back within 20 minutes to confirm that this wasn’t right and would require a visit. I called on a Monday afternoon, and could’ve had Wayne himself here on Tuesday! My schedule didn’t permit so we agreed on Wednesday. Anyway, Wayne showed up, examined the situation, reinitialized our system and had everything working within.. 30 minutes? The most important part of this story is that when it was done, Wayne told us this problem and it’s resolution would be included in their regular training meetings! To recap: 1. Powell & Turner staff are prompt and efficient. They show up on time and finish on time. 2. Powell and Turner are responsive. Their operations manager (Caroline? I feel bad that I can’t remember) almost always returns my calls same day. 3. Powell and Turner fixes problems with no fuss, no delay. 4. Powell and Turner have a regular internal training process, which means expertise is being disseminated across the company. These kinds of processes ensure high quality from ALL members of the team.
