I woke up to a flooded basement, within hours Steve arrived with the parts and replaced my sewer pump and sump pump. He also assisted in coordinating other trusted subcontractors for follow-on repairs. I don't say this lightly, but I have yet to meet a more knowledgeable, professional, and skilled plumber. He is plugged into the community, is an expert in his craft, and takes the time to explain the "why." I won't use anyone else. I note, I don't generally write reviews. But, if you're like me, you just want to trust the person working on your home and so I wanted to share my experience.

Steve knew what to do and did it well, working steadily and successfully. What a pleasant trustworthy guy. I’m grateful Polar Bear was the plumbing company I contacted to fix my leaking bath faucet.
We had Steve come out to take a look at our AC as it was not emitting cold air. Steve walked us through the issues he found; he was thorough, honest, and knowledgeable. We will be using their services going forward for all of our AC and heating needs.
Came quickly to fix my ac during a very hot spell. Very professional, pleasant to deal with, and explained everything very clearly. Didn't try to upsell me. When my system needs replacement, I will be calling them back.
I highly recommend Polar Bear Plumbing, Heating and Air. I had a new A/C unit installed to replace a 22 year old system. I received three quotes, and Polar Bear was the best value for the services and the unit I purchased. Once I decided to go with Polar Bear, the unit was installed within a few days. My whole experience from Talking to Tanya on the phone, to Steven providing an in house quote and then Steven and Jeremy doing the installation, left me feeling that I definitely made the right choice. I am a very satisfied customer, and will be using Polar Bear for all my future pluming and heating needs in the future.
Super responsive to our call. Steve came out the same day to replace our faulty sump pump. Super knowledgeable and took the time to not only explain what he was doing but also to educate us on the entire system. Will definitely call them when needed.
Steve is an amazing plumber and HVAC technician. It astonished me how deeply he immersed himself into the local water quality, and how it changes when the temperature fluctuates from cold to hot. Anymore talented and he would be a water scientist. There is no better expert, no better quality than you’ll find with Polar Bear. Steve also upgraded our master bedroom bathroom toilet. The cheap toilets the builder installed are horrible, they always clog and pass water everywhere. He got us the most amazing toilet that has not clogged and is very quiet. I have also never seen anyone swap out a toilet so fast, and with total detail. Including caulking the bottom and he even installed our new bidet for us too. Everything is perfectly to code, and the quality of our home water filtration system is easily above satisfactory. I highly recommend Steve and continue to go to him for all my plumbing and water quality needs and questions.
Got a quote from another company that seemed high. Called Polar Bear for a second opinion. The technician was extremely knowledgeable and the pricing was more than fair .
Let me start by saying that the last plumbing/hvac company we hired did a terrible job, lied about parts that were not installed but we were still charged for and we were over charged in two jobs. We called Polar Bear and within 5 minutes of Steve being in our home we knew we were in the right hands. Steve and Jeremy came out today to install a sump pump, fix a few things that the previous company didn't do right and installed a halo water filtration system. They were both professional, kind, honest and they take pride in their work. They helped us brainstorm a few ideas on how to help drain water in our yard which they didn't charge extra for. I highly recommend this company and i would trust leaving them in our home with our pet any day of the week.
My insulation layer on the external water pipe broke during the winter and there was a crack on the pipe. I did not realize it until the spring. Polar Bear plumbing expert Mr. Steve Gardner came in and did a thorough inspection and gave me a list of options. The next day, he came in and fixed everything very professionally, including replacing the pipe, properly positioning it, adding an additional drain to prevent future freezing and cracking, replacing the other elbows along the pipe to prevent future breakdowns, and properly insulating the entire pipe from the wall to the ground. Mr. Gardner is very laid-back and does not only seek to get the job done correctly but also aims to build a long-term relationship. He actually put himself in my boots. The price is also very reasonable for the service and the knowledge I got.
Could not have been happier with the work they did! And they were more than happy to explain the work and answer the questions I had. I priced around before hand, and they were very reasonable, too! Wonderful to have an HVAC and plumbing company I can trust. I’ll definitely be a returning customer in the future!

Steve did a great job installing 2 new bathroom vanities and installing our new kitchen sink and faucet. He was very responsive and was able to finish this job in a timely manner.
