We hired Jim & Lori on 5/13 to remodel our master bedroom and bath, install new laminate flooring throughout the house, and re-work the kitchen to remove a non-load bearing wall that separated the kitchen from the living-room. We were told that if we purchased materials the invoice would be offset by those amounts, saving us money. They've worked a total of 7 days since we paid them $27k on 5/13. They've pulled multiple no-call no-shows. They've also failed to answer our calls and texts on numerous occasions after promising to show up with no explanation. They promised to hire a plumber and electrician on 6/7 because they claimed they couldn't pull the required plumbing and electrical permits, because their phones were hacked...even though I offered to let them use my personal computer that I work from to look up the info online....Then yesterday (6/8) they called us to advise they couldn't complete the work and would issue us a refund after speaking with their attorney. After I questioned their need to speak with an attrouney and why they had left the power in our only remaining bathroom shut off, Jim Lucas hung up on me. They texted my husband on 6/9 to advise that they would maybe come up to work and would maybe let us know at 6 or 7 pm that evening. After all of the lies and unstable behavior exhibited by Jim Lucas & Lori, we advised that we no longer wanted their services and wanted our money back, which they haven't refunded. They've left debris all over our master bedroom and bathroom, and we no longer have power in our hallway bathroom. Wires are still hanging from our bedroom ceiling, as well as vents are now hanging from our basement ceiling. We also have materials that we purchased sitting in our garage exposed to humidity, that were delivered over a week ago (vanity & laminate flooring). DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

Horrible Service, This establishment took our money and put in a basement shower that does not drain. When the job was originally finished Jim Lucas said they stand behind their work but when calling them out to fix this issue he indicated he was done with us and refused to fix it. He then had the nerve to insist that it was my fault that I insisted he spend thousands of our dollars to put in a shower he told me would not work.Judge for yourself, does it seem logical I would spend thousands in custom tile and drain work on a shower that would never work. The other reviews stating his unprofessional attitude is absolutely true. Beware this contractor does not stand behind their work and will attempt to say it was all your fault. Readers: Use your own judgment I have simply provided my interpretation of the events and am the one with a non-working shower while he has been paid in full.
Signed proposal for kitchen flooring and gave 1/2 down. on a Wednesday. Text from them on a that Friday that they were ordering flooring. I called them on a Monday to tell them I have a much better deal and would like a refund of my half down. Bill turned into another person, being rude and screaming at me. Told me I signed contract and was liable for the entire payment whether I canceled or not. Hung on me. I text him and told him he still had time to cancel order, and I would like a refund of my money. He text me back and said I would be receiving an invoice from them and do not text him again. You could not pay me to do business with someone who presents themselves as professionals and then end up acting like bottom feeders. Wish I had read the previous review... Lesson learned.
