When I first reached out to James regarding my A/C issue, he was out of town on vacation and yet STILL responded to me within 30 minutes of my call, to schedule an appointment which turned out to be the the very next morning. Punctual, fair, & honest are terms I can't begin to amplify enough when it comes to James Piper and the work he performs. In our particular case, we had a blown capacitor but other less scrupulous service providers could've taken the opportunity to upcharge for other non-related repairs. Our 2nd call to Piper Air & Mechanical involved the outdoor unit again, yet this time the condenser fan motor went out. It was 102 degrees, 84 in the house, and with the temp. climbing, James was able to procure and install the new OEM/ factory Lennox motor within a few hours of my call for help. This just doesn't happen with other companies I've experienced in my 32 years of being a homeowner. James may not have a fleet of fancy painted trucks but he more than makes up for it with fair, honest, capable and responsive support. Wish I found him years ago.
On multiple occasions James has come over almost immediately to help resolve an issue when the AC / Heating has gone out. Prices are fair, responsiveness is amazing! We will use him again in the future for any HVAC regular maintenance or immediate problems.
I have been using Piper Air and Mechanical to nurse along, maintain, and repair our two systems for five years now. Every time I call, Mr. Piper has treated me as his most important client. Response times have typically been within 2 hours, and that’s ON-SITE, not for a callback. Last week our larger unit finally died. Mr. Piper gave his expert recommendation, we agreed to the price which was extremely competitive. They did the complete removal of the old system and installed the new one in approximately 4 hours, leaving no trace of ever having been there. In short, Mr. Piper runs an extremely high quality, responsive operation, and I would highly recommend his company for your Air and mechanical needs! Thank you, Mr. Piper.
