I highly recommend Pilar and Son. They are professional with reasonable prices and will identify the problem and resolve it. I only had to use their services twice and the two times I needed services was back in 2017 and then again this year in 2020. And within those 3 years they reach out through email to check up on you. So that goes to show that they care about their customers. So if I have any AC/Heating issues they’re my go to.

Summary: 0 STARS!!! These guys wanted to charge $1500 to "fix" something that wasn't bad. Cost to fix the actual problem by a competent tech: $300 Agree completely with Chuck C's Yelp review! He's spot on. Pillar & Son's also charged me $175.18 for a starter capacitor on my blower motor. This is about a $10 component, depending on where you buy it. So, one would expect the repair bill to be less than $100 ($69 service charge + $20 part @ 100% mark-up) for the 15 minutes to install and verify operation. What's more alarming is that my system had another problem which was (mis)diagnosed by Pillar's technician as a defective reversing valve. I quickly received a proposal from Pillar to replace this valve for almost $1500! Not only could I buy a new replacement 2.5-ton heat pump for this price, THE DIAGNOSIS WAS COMPLETELY WRONG!! After doing about 5 minutes of reading on the topic of reversing valves, I quickly learned that they don't fail that often and when they do, the effects are different than what my system displayed. As a result, I hired a second, competent HVAC company to look at the problem. This technician determined that all I had was a faulty DEFROST board ($150 to me). As a result, my heat pump was repaired for a total cost of $300!! 1/5 of what Pillar was trying to gouge me for! In summary, this reviewer highly recommends that you follow Chuck C.'s sage advice in his Yelp review and "use somebody else" (who is competent and ethical!) PILLAR = FAIL p.s. Feel free to contact me if you want to a referral for a competent HVAC tech (who happened to be out of town when my system went down and had to search for a back-up company).
