This was my first time using Pierce Total Comfort. I got a quote on the cost to service my boiler, they came on time, did the yearly maintenance, and were very straightforward,and honest with their evaluation I can't say how much I appreciate the honesty and knowledge Nick and Jeff have for their customers. Never heard back.. They came in measured took all info to put two new units in and upgrade my air handlers.. never heard back. Over a month ago
Very good workmanship so far. Waited for my part, but that was understandable. Secretary very helpful and concerning. Install price was more than I expected. Still waiting for warranty information on installation workmanship. Would recommend this company. Installers were very professional.

Not all companies are the same. Pierce Total Comfort is top notch. Responsive, professional and quality craftsmanship. Had HVAC and tankless water heater installed recently, could not be happier. CEO Gary Pierce (Big G) is an all around great guy, and his union employees are as nice and knowledgeable as you'll ever find. Being union workers, the job will be getting done correctly, the first time. Price was a major factor in deciding which unit to purchase. We were presented with multiple options at varying price points. He explained the pros and cons of each system, and never felt obligated or pressured to buy one system over the other. We received follow up calls, just to make sure we were content with our new purchase. Quality company. Quality installation. Quality employees. All of the one star reviews are idiots. Big G - 5 stars.
Gary and his team did an amazing job converting our wood burning fireplace into a gas insert. The team was always respectful and kept our house and the work area clean and protected. Not only was the conversion a big job but we also decided to do a tear down of the stone and install all new stone all the way up to the ceiling in a 2 story room with a new mantle and hearth extension. Gary referred us to Brandywine Quarry to select our stone and they have an amazing selection to choose from. Found everything we needed from them including a repurposed old barn beam for our mantle. Gary walked us through the entire process from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier with our beautiful fireplace. Will definitely use them again and feel very confident in referring them out to anyone who could use their services.
Spoke to Gary about our malfunctioning gas fireplace. He ordered a few parts and one week later Michael came out to install them. Fireplace was working again! But, we had a small issue with the flame and immediately they returned and fixed the problem. Five star service...I highly recommend them!
I used Pierce to replace my HVAC system. I got quotes from 4 local contractors. Pierce provided the best value, best install timing and overall the most pleasant to work with. Installation quality was great. Would 100% use again.
Contacted Pierce for the service of gas fireplace logs. They were very courteous on the phone, able to schedule an appointment timely, were clear with the charges to be expected and the details of the servicing. Jeff the technician and was also very professional, courteous, and provided lots of helpful tips - the workmanship was excellent. I would highly recommend for this service.

After leaving several messages on the company line and getting no response. I even posted a review on Google, hoping to get their attention. Nothing worked, absolutely no response from the comapny. It seemed like they don't care and they don't want the business. After several days I decided to call another manufacturer recommended service company (Pierce is on that list also). What a difference did that make. First of all. the new technician came in with uniform and a tool bag. The Pierce's technician had no uniform and had a screw driver in his pocket only. The new tachnician used a meter and found where the problem was. It took him only 10 minutes to trouble-shoot and found the problem right away. Whereas the Pierce technician fiddled around, plugged and unplugged a few connectors and didn't check anything with a meter. It tells me the Pierce technician wasn't trained on the system and had no idea what's going on. The company just sent somebody with little to no training and charge you for a service call, but did not fix your problem. I would think twice about calling them for anything.
Amazing experience with Gary and Pierce Total Comfort. Explained the issue with my 14 year old AC system which was diagnosed and previously installed by the orange HVAC company. In one day, Gary carefully explained my issue and options resulting in the installation of a new unit 40% cheaper than a quote from the orange company. Gary had my unit installed the very next day and my home has never been cooler. Great experience!!!!!
The entire team was amazing from start to finish! Gary shared all of the options available to us to replace our AC and heating units & went above and beyond to bring it all to life. After being without AC during a few heatwaves, we sincerely appreciated all of his efforts to get our home cool again! The installation team protected our floors, and worked in a timely manner to complete our project & triple checked to make sure the works spaces inside and out were completely cleaned up. They made sure we understood how to use our new system and we have been cool ever since! We cannot thank you all enough for all of your hard work! Highly reccomended!
I had an appointment for a HVAC installation consult and no one showed up or called to cancel. The same thing happened last year when I had an appointment for a different reason. I thought it may have been an oversight last year and wanting to give the company the benefit of the doubt, so I called again but this disregard for my time seems to be a pattern. Customer service is important and is lacking with this company. Disappointed to have my time wasted twice.
July 2020: So very pleased with every aspect of the recent service I had. Our air conditioner stopped working during a heat wave in July. Called Pierce Total Comfort and they sent Michael - same day! He came on time, replaced our bad capacitor, refilled our refrigerant, performed a complete tune-up, made sure I was well informed throughout the process and was very kind and courteous. Now our system is working like new again and we couldn't be happier. Thank you, Michael, for your top-notch service and well done, Pierce Total Comfort! May 2016: This service location is awesome! I had an issue with my AC on a Friday before a holiday weekend and they sent someone out right away. They fixed the issue in no time at all and the rate was very reasonable.
Gary and his entire team were courteous and professional. The units were great and Gary saw the project thru from start to finish. Gary did not simply put in a unit, he presented our family with options and explained each option and allowed us time to make an informed decision. Highly recommend Pierce Total Comfort to others.
Let me start with Jeff and Michael, those two are the Dynamic Duo. They need a raise in wages because they were professional, Extremely knowledgeable about my propane fireplace and they had Chris as a resource if they didn't know an issue. Secondly, Jeff explained everything they did as they did it and why they did it. That to me is comforting that they put themselves on the line of confidence. When they were all finished they cleaned up like no one was ever here except for my fireplace was working efficiently. THANK YOU, PIERCE TOTAL COMFORT.
We had a new pellet stove installed and the work done was exceptional quality and when issues arose, Chris was able to adapt and solve any problems that arose during the install. He was courteous and a pleasure to deal with. They cleaned up afterwards and I would highly recommend Chris and Pierce Total Comfort.
