Pat and his guys are true professionals. They have done a central air/heat pump install on our home, as well as a recent repair to our hot water boiler. The process could not have been smoother both times Pat and his crew have been here. Respectful, courteous, and clean. Could not even tell they were here after the fact, and the work is done quickly and efficiently and at a fair price. Would highly recommend for anyone in the Fairfield County or New Haven County areas.
Very poor company. The owner is arrogant, unwilling to discuss options, and will only do it his way. Brand new equipment failed within 6 months and will not return to even access the problem let alone repair it. This will be going to the State of CT dept of consumer protection. Stay clear and go with a better hvac contractor.
Pat and his team recently replaced our 26 year old gas furnace and central air conditioning system. Their work was professional, efficient and meticulous. They answered all of the questions we had regarding the installation and use of the new equipment. We have used PHS Mechanical for our HVAC repair and maintenance in the past and will most certainly continue to use Pat and his team in the future. I would definitely recommend PHS Mechanical to anyone looking for a reputable, professional and experienced HVAC company.
We did an oil to gas conversion and got a new AC system as well to replace an aging and inefficient one that we had in our house. I spoke to several contractors before meeting with Pat (owner). He was by far the most responsive and knowledgeable. While we were waiting for the gas company to connect us, he actually got our old AC system functioning better than it had in ten years by doing a couple of simple things that no other contractor suggested. Once work began, Pat was involved in every step and always responded right away to questions and concerns. The work is done and my house has never had more balanced heating. All of Pat’s suggestions were spot on and the work was done when he said it would be. Finding a contractor that you trust is extremely valuable and I can honestly say that, based on my experience, I would recommend PHS to any one who asks.
PHS Mechanical replaced our aging oil-fired furnace with a state-of-the-art Granby Comforto furnace. And, at the same time, installed American Standard central air conditioning. This work included improvements to existing ductwork, adding a second-floor zone as well as returns. We couldn't be more happy with the work and results – great improvement in year-round comfort and increased efficiency. Pat's friendly, open and informative. He prides himself on his work and truly puts the customer first. Thanks Pat!
