Fred was great... professional courteous, and prompt. Highly recommend.
I've used Fred over 6 years at 3 different properties. He's always prompt and provides excellent customer service.
The owner came out to fix our thermostat. We found out that it wasn't our thermostat that was broken, rather our condenser was not working. Fred ordered a new part for our ac system and just installed it today. I think he was very fair with us and knew exactly what he was doing.
Fred came out to our family residence a few days ago and fixed out ac unit. It was blowing air but it wasn't cold. I know he is busy because its air conditioning season as summer rolls in, but he fit us into his schedule. He is very friendly and does great work.
Fred came out promptly and determined that I needed an igniter replaced. He had one with him and told me it would cost 450.00 to replace it. When he brought the part in I questioned why it cost so much and he said the labor. He later reduced his price to 425.00. After looking on goggle is was clear that it only takes removing 3 small screws to replace the item and it cost between 35 to 60 to purchase. After contacting other companies that do this work it was clear that Fred overcharged me and I would not use him or recommend him. I told him, up front, that I believe in trusting people until they give me a reason to do otherwise and he gave me a reason.
Fred Was asked to come out and install a thermostat and quoted me $200 just for an install. Before he even installed or even checked to see if there was any power at all. He just said it isn't the thermostat its the unit then he proceeded to tell me it will cost $150 to diagnosis the problem. I said fine lets see what the problem is. FRED NEVER CHECKED OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS he just said it was the wires and fixed the problem... this company is a rip off!!! I Paid Fred 350 and the problem wasn't fixed the air is still not working and we don't know what the problem is. It is so unfortunate that Fred would lie about something just to get a few extra bucks....this business is the worst. He took advantage of the situation by collecting $150 for supposedly diagnosing the "problem" and nothing was done of the sort . I wouldn't recommend them for anything and plan on filing a complaint with the contractors board. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE UNREASONABLE AND REFUSED TO COME BACK OUT FOR A REAL DIAGNOSIS. REALLY DISAPPOINTING
Had a floor furnace that wouldn't stay lit. Called and left messages at other businesses that never returned calls. One said that they didn't do floor furnaces. Got one estimate for $3000 which seemed too pricey. Then I called Performance. Fred answered the phone, and the next day he fixed the heater and upgraded it for half the price of the other estimate. Fred is a very warm and pleasant person who seems to do the work himself and keeps everything uncomplicated. He was always easy to get in touch with and communicated very clearly about what was going on. Glad that I found him.
I had a problem with my ac before few weeks and asked for my friends to recommend me some good service which really understand from air conditioning repair. One of them told me about the guys from Performance Heating & Air Conditioning! I called them and made an appointment for the next day. They came on time and for almost a hour the problem was removed and my ac started to work properly as before. An to the moment I haven't any problems with it! Great job people! Thanks!
