Preston Wingfield, he works with you guys, I know him personally, he took my purse and had the audacity to spend my money, if this is the type of people you allow in your company than go ahead be ripped off, allow people like this to act in your care, just for them to take my purse in secret and act like they never took it. I wish I could star this as no stars, im extremely upset and actually make a police report.

Do not use this company. My original estimate was 2,400 to have a car charger outlet and 50 amp breaker ran to my garage. He spent 40 min on my property to give estimate so he did ALL his due diligence before giving estimate. Now he’s decided to continue job after first starting it …he will be charging at least 6,000 dollars. Says he has to run a whole new conduit from breaker. My gosh my property is not that large. I’ve had this done couple years ago at previous house that was double this size property and they didn’t have nerve to charge this kind of money. 6,000!!!!!!! This company is crooked. Stay away. They will come up with excuses but it’s just to rip you off. I called and a manager wouldn’t even get on phone. Woman that answers phone said there are no managers to talk to and they cancelled the job. Worst business I’ve dealt with in my life. You know a business is crooked when there’s no manager or owner to discuss problems !!!

We've had some great experiences with various companies throughout the years, and we’ve also experienced some not so great interactions with companies, too. most recently, we had a very bad experience with a local company that was pushy to sell us a new unit, and had to come out twice to fix something they mishandled. Penguin Air really turned that around for my family, today. We had a FANTASTIC experience, where Jimmy went ABOVE and BEYOND to listen to our situation and assess the various potential problems and the appropriate solutions. He was ready to take it step by step and not leave us doom spiraling after every check in, but simply assuaged any concerns we may have had with solutions. We're *incredibly grateful* for Jimmy’s ability to save us from a potentially deadly season. We were able to get everything taken care of for our immediate and unique needs. We are grateful for you, Jimmy! You are an asset to your team at Penguin Air.

I understand there are costs to running a business and you most certainly have to pay for expertise. The technician was very efficient and had the heat pump problem solved in less than 10 minutes. My complaint is not with the service itself but the amount of money they make within 10 minutes time. The technician replaced a bad capacitor. I had a coupon for a free service call and still the 10 minutes labor and the capacitor cost $280. The capacitor is available on Amazon and many other sites for less than $20. If I had not had the coupon they would have charged me $358. That explains how they’re able to advertise so heavily on TV and own a helicopter used by the local TV station. Again, the expertise of the technician is not being questioned. I would highly recommend using another air-conditioning contractor. I’m not sure if these prices are industrywide, but they are predatory in my opinion. Technicians are busy this time of year due to the record heat, and a customer is left with a few options. Penguin air understands this and charges an exorbitant amount of money. I can only imagine how much money each technician makes for the company on a daily basis. Join me in boycotting such a ruthless business.

I am very glad I called Penguin Air. I have an older unit and 3 parts needed to be replaced. Ralf the repairman was wiling to do the repair and not just say that I needed a brand new unit. He did an excellent job at a reasonable price.

Jerry was the consultant for my water heater problem today. I was lucky he came. Our water heater was over 20 years old and leaking. Jerry is a personable professional who is very knowledgeable about his plumbing expertise. He was efficient and quickly resolved our problem. He was very willing to share tidbits to aide in the efficiency of our new device and prolonging the lifetime of the product. Jerry went above and beyond for our family and we are very grateful. I would highly recommend Jerry and Penguin Air and Plumbing.

I called this firm for the first time based on their reviews and ratings. I set an appointment two weeks in advance. We, as customers, begrudgingly agree to the time range for the appointment. In my case, it was a three hour window; from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. I made sure to clear my busy schedule for this timeframe. At 1:30 pm on the day of the appointment no one had called; so I called them. They stated that the technician got stuck at another job site and the appointment is now after 3:00 PM!! At 4:15 I called again because I had not heard from them. The lady who answered indicated that I was next on the technician's schedule. I asked what does "next" mean? Is it 5 minutes or three hours? She could only tell me that the technician would call 30 minutes prior to arrival. Since they open 24 hours, this could be in the middle of the night. I canceled the appointment. I am very disappointed. My day was a waste of time.

Bad business practice, original duct which worked . Promised to ensure that the upstairs rooms will be cool. 3 years later, claim that its not their problem. "Response from the owner5 hours ago I’m sorry Claudia. High quality service and upfront pricing are always our goal. When the technician inspected your home he found the airflow issues were related to a unit installed by another company. We do not feel it would be ethical for us to address your airflow issue created through, and related to, the installation of a unit and duct work. This airflow issue needs to be addressed with the company that preformed your installation. We are happy to help address any issues related to the installation of the unit and/or duct work installed with us here at Penguin Air, plumbing, and Electrical. If you would like to discuss this concern further please feel free to reach out to our Quality Assurance Manager at 480-747-680" Our response to this response, "Incompetent, predatory buisness practices, I would not recommend this company, I am not surprised by your response the air conditioner that you are referring too was the original that was put in the home when it was built in 1996!! So how is this relevant?? A replacement/upgrade in an air conditioner...a new system is a new system...Am I correct?? Or does your company only work outside?? We also purchased warranty on the old system and new system; so how is this going above and beyond what is expected of every other AC Co./ Installers?? From your web site it states Veteran led?? You should remove that! My husband served 23 years in the Marines, medically retired 100% with combat related disabilities and this is how you treat your customers!! Shame on you for trying to capitalize by promoting that you are Veteran led..disgusting!! I have never dealt with such incompetence from a company. Any and all prospective customers beware.

I had an investment property that needed work and they came out really fast and the price was fair. 2 years later I needed to replace the tankless water heater at my house. The quotes me 6k. I bought the same unit at Home Depot and paid a licensed plumber to install it to the existing plumbing. 1400. That’s not right.

We had a water heater go bad and I called Penguin for a price quote. As I was driving home I was making the call and by the time I got home. They were there in 20 minutes after I got there. Then we talked about replacing and all the details they were on point. Price was the best compared to other. Based on service and quality of work we went ahead and replaced the AC units. Again. Price , quality of work and attention to the customer was amazing. I run a retail store and. Yes they are Good. Really good

Electrician was supposed to install new batteries in the smoke detectors. He changed nothing. Since he left I’ve had to change 4 Batteries!! 8 more to go. Don’t waste your time and money having Penguin Air do electrical work for you. It won’t get done.
