First time I used Pelican was one hot summer evening when our almost new unit downstairs stopped blowing cold air. We needed someone at our house right away because we don’t handle the heat very well. These guys showed up, fixed the problem, told me it was covered by manufacture warranty and all we would have to pay was the after hours fee which was very reasonable considering their dispatch speed. Cue two or three years later and our upstairs unit stops blowing cold air. They showed up within their time window and fixed our issue right away. They were very courteous and professional and sent a receipt to my phone. I have recommended Pelican anytime someone has asked me about recommendations for a trustworthy HVAC repair company. Thanks for a job well done!!!

The worst customer experience I’ve ever had on the phone. I just did what my property management company told me to do, which was call Pelican as soon as I received an email who had been assigned for my work order. Jennifer hung up on me twice. She said I was being rude, but I wasn’t. I asked her a yes or no question and she refused to answer, saying she didn’t owe me a yes or no answer. I even expressed that I had a great experience with them last year and wasn’t trying to be rude, but doing as I was instructed. I let her know I’ve never experienced such rude customer service like this before and she said that I’m not their customer, the landlord is. Im at a loss right now. It’s understandable get there is a high demand and that I need to wait to hear back. I just didn’t expect to be talked to like that.

Last year I obtained an estimate from Pelican to replace my two A.C. / Heat Pump units; the estimate was competitively priced but I decided to wait until this year to proceed. When I contacted Pelican this year, a technician came out, evaluated my units, and provided me with a revised estimate. I quickly decided to take the offer. And within a week, the two technicians arrived and replaced my upstairs unit within 6 1/2 hours. A few days later, my downstairs unit was replaced and it was done in under 6 hours. I love how professional I was treated by everyone at Pelican!

They do not take responsibility. They put a new inside unit in my house a year and a half ago and every month I have a problem with it, then they told me it was the outside unit that needed replaced. I had 2 different companies come out and they both told me the unit they installed inside wasn’t compatible with my outside unit. When I told them this they denied it and argued with me nonstop.They stopped returning and even answering my calls. Worst company of any kind I have ever worked with. I spent thousands of dollars and still constantly have issues.

First American Home Warranty Company (FAHWC) refused to replace the entire HVAC system in our residence as recommended by their subcontractor, Master Tech. (MT) who condemned our unit in an effort to get us to purchase a new unit. We obtained a second opinion from Pelican AC & Heating (PACH) who examined our unit and only replaced the inducer motor. Our HVAC is now working fine. We would rate PACH a 10+ (Exemplary) if such rating was available. All of the staff members from PACH starting with the proprietor, Jennifer the office mgr. to their technician, Alfred exhibited above-exemplary professionalism, punctuality, expedient response, honesty and an excellent value for their services. PACH is rated 5 star on Home Advisor. My husband and I are extremely happy with PACH's service because of their HONESTY and VALUE. PACH located a replacement motor and resolved the problem. My family and I have only lived in our house for about 1.5 yrs. So when our house started to get warmer with the thermostat staying low, we knew something was wrong. And we knew we had to get it fixed fast. Any resident of Texas knows you don’t want to be without some sort of AC in the Texas summer heat. Since being new(ish) to the area we reached out to our community for a good and affordable HVAC company. Of course, we got about five responses for five different companies. So we chose one that we got a good feeling from because they were local. Jennifer, the operations manager, kept us informed of our appointment. Upon the technician’s arrival, Alfred was very customer service driven and seemed very knowledgeable. He checked out the possibilities as to what could be our HVAC problem and discovered it was a faulty moisture sensor. He was able to temporarily bypass the sensor so we could get some cool air until the part could be ordered and installed. Once the part came in, he installed it and all was good. We have our air conditioner cooling like it should be. An overall pleasant experience. I highly recommend Pelican Air Conditioning and Heat and will be calling them again should we have any further HVAC problems.
