Edit: 6/12/23 After calling on 2 occasions for after hours service but no one responded we had no choice but to call someone else. They put some freon and that fixed the problem until we could get Peffer to come out. We called Peffer to come out and the owner doesn't want to service us anymore because we had to call someone else for after hours service. We have 2 houses that were serviced by Peffer but they don't want our business anymore, disappointing. Previous review: We had a Goodman system installed a few months ago by a friend of a friend (lesson learned). There was a loud vibration noise inside the wall when the system starts up and this guy couldn't figure it out. Then he ignored us and never came back. I called Peffer and a young man came out and figured out the noise in the first 10 minutes! The noise is gone now and I can't even hear when the system starts up. I will be calling Peffer for any AC needs going forward. Thanks again!
Recently I encountered an issue with my heater. This was the second time I used Peffer. Peffer's technicians are professional, knowledgeable, informative and prompt. In particular, Josh, who handled both service calls at my home, was great. He explained the issue, how it was going to be resolved and took the time to do the job right. I highly recommend Peffer. You will get expert service at a fair price.
My family and myself woke up sweating with a broken AC. As you can imagine in August it was miserable. We called Peffer, they gave us a 1-2 hour window. They came within 30 minutes. Our AC was fixed in less than 10 minutes. The customer service was outstanding. The care that this company has for their customers is like no other. I will always recommend Peffer.
Had my AC break Saturday night and they came out on a Sunday within 1 hour of my call!! Extremely professional and found the issue immediately. I highly recommend and they will be my first call for any of my AC/Heating needs.
I called Peffer Heating and Air a few years ago to replace my HVAC system. They installed an Amana unit that worked great. In May the condenser stopped working. I called them and they sent a technician out right away. Josh had me fixed up in a jiffy and it was all under warranty. They stand behind their work and they’re efficient, courteous, professional, and prompt with service after the sale. That says a lot to the character of a company. I would recommend Peffer Heating and Air to my mother! As a matter of fact I have!
Contacted Peffer for a normal maintenance/cleaning service. Price was reasonable and they were very quick and responsive. Fast forward 2 weeks later the AC is not working. Something is not right! The AC unit is new and never had any problems prior to their service. Upon bringing this to their attention, the office worker was very unprofessional. I was told that I would not be billed but to never call them again, amongst a whole bunch of other rude, smart and unnecessary remarks. I was also hung up on. Do not recommend, call another company!!
Incredible work. Made it over the day I originally called and got my problem fixed immediately, even scheduled a follow up to make sure the solution stuck. A great, local small business with personal service and caring staff. Josh and Ashley have been a particular joy to work with.
I recently had Peffer Heating & Air replace one of the central AC units at my home. I am very pleased. Peffer was responsive, timely, and professional. They worked to get me up and running, within my budget. We both know that my 2nd unit will need to be replaced, but I was not pressured in to anything that I did not need. Peffer found solutions to provide me with quality service, without focusing on padding their profit. I did my shopping around, and got several bids for the work. When I first met with Peffer, and Kenny assessed my situation, I knew I had found the right AC contractor for me. I soon will be replacing another central AC unit, and I won't be calling anyone else.

Where is the 6-star option? I made the mistake of calling another AC repair company (not to be named here) to look at my AC unit. The other company tried to charge me nearly $600 for a warranty replaceable part, plus "shipping fees". Not pleased with the prospect of paying for something that should be covered, I called Peffer. They sent someone out and replaced the failing part plus two more parts (all warranty work) that had also gone out AND cleaned the evaporator coils all for a far more reasonable price! Amazing service and friendly attitudes from everyone I came in contact with from Peffer! We will not be using anyone else and I would recommend these guys to anyone needing quality service.

I highly recommend Peffer Heating and Air to anyone looking for hvac work. Kenny and his techs took the time to explain to me what was going wrong with my unit and the guys were so friendly. They had my house cool in no time at all! I was impressed given my previous experience with another hvac company And the poor customer service they had provided.
My wife and I renovated a townhome a year ago in the FQ and Kenny and his crew installed 3 new high efficiency heat pumps and blower/coil units. It was quite a job and required some creative engineering to do what we wanted to do in the 200-year old home. They did a great job and now that we are finished with the project, their service is just as good. I would recommend them highly.
