Amazing guy, he was very professional and was very helpful.
They installed a new HVAC system after being sent by American Home Shield and did a horrible install. The system hasn't worked right since day 1 and now we found it wasn't draining condensation and has been leaking in the closet causing thousands of dollars in repairs. AHS refuses to pay and Palmer has now apparently changed their business name so I'm just screwed.
Newly established and revamped it seems!! This company is amazing!!! Very professional with a goal of building friendships with their customers. I Had Palmer Heating and Air Install a high efficiency HVAC system, AND Blow 20 inches of Insulation in my attic for a very affordable price! They did it all in a day, and cut my electric bill nearly in half!! Will definitely recommend!!
This company is transitioning to the brand " Shine Air " and are affiliated with Shine Solar. They installed my now 3 month old high efficiency HVAC system. I wrote about that very positive experience in my review of Shine Solar. This review is about the service aspect of Shine Air. Yesterday ( Saturday Aug 10th )in addition to being crazy hot and humid, and in the middle of a major outage of Verizon wireless service, my HVAC system was having issues. Since I couldn't contact anyone by phone, i used wifi and text messaging, to get word to my Shine Solar contacts and they contacted Jacob, the oncall emergency service tech. He was at my house within an hour. He was knowledgeable, and quick to identify the problem based on the symptoms i described. He resolved the issue, and taught me some simple preventative tips to keep it from happening again. In and out in under an hour and I learned more about my system. Awesome job Jacob, and continued stellar service from Shine Solar and Shine Air.
Didn't actually do business thankfully, first employee wasn't competent, second seemed to be a know it all and didn't listen to needs, third continued to try and pitch an inferior product despite requesting another brand.
One star is too many this place will take your money then tell you "good luck on finding someone to work on the unit that they sold you and installed for you" This place needs to be closed I'am going to place an complaint with attorney generally. Beware of this company!
Would not suggest this company to anybody. Let's start off with I have a home warranty for a reason so the first guy Jacob comes out doesn't know what's going on have a Schrader valve leaking so he tightened it put the meter on it and says you freon is low it might cost you $200 so ended up paying $60 remember home warranty well there supposed to cover it nope alright so the night went on and had to call them back the next day he comes back out puts a computer board on it without coming out to look first for the 3rd time he came out we are gon a replace the unit this is what he said to me but when he called home warranty he told them something different so now the Boss is coming to hook up a new unit finally 3 Weeks later comes inside looks at the thermostat for awhile and said well you dont have any directions to it so I give up we will need to replace it I said I have a thermostat we can use he didn't like the way it looked hanging on the wall so I'm going to have to pay for a new one wait home warranty is supposed to cover it no cost to me lol ok $94 and there goes the taillights if he would of called he would of found out I didn't have to pay so today the New unit quit well they got a call there going to show up after 4pm hmm we get another call they rejected to come out here that goes to show how Great work is supposed to be like thanks Adam from Palmer heat and air you really done a doosie...
THIS COMPANY SUCKS WONT EVEN STAND BEHIND THERE WORK
I would NOT recommend using Palmer HVAC. My former (now fired) home warranty company, American Home Shield, sent them to my house for AC repairs. Palmer determined that my evaporator cool was leaking and it needed to be replaced. After several weeks of working through my former (now fired) home warranty company, they returned to install the coil. Palmer installed the evaporator coil in my air conditioner and within 3 days my unit was no longer functioning and the 8lbs of refrigerants that I paid for ($250!!!) had leaked out almost entirely. Initially I tried to work through my home warranty company which meant Palmer would have to come back and fix the problem. My family, which includes a 15 month old, was left without air conditioning within days of Palmer’s last visit and Palmer informed I would have to wait 3 DAYS before they could come back to look at it. I decided to handle on my own and contacted a different service provider who was able to come to our home that night. The new service provider was shocked by Palmer’s work and provided the following commentary in their notes: “Their home warranty company just installed an evaporator coil a few days ago. Found the system almost out of refrigerant and the mechanical fitting on the TXV on the new coil was fingertight. The mechanical fitting was leaking and it looked as if this was done on purpose.” DONE ON PURPOSE!!! I will be filing complaints with the FCC and the Better Business Bureau against Palmer and American Home Shield. I do not recommend using either of these companies. I’m out of nearly $400 and my family was put in a precarious situation with little to no response from either company other than an “oh well we’re sorry for this happened”. I’ve learned my lesson and it won’t happen again but think others should know this company is of low integrity and poor character. My unit is now working and no longer leaking.
