I cannot recommend Joe and his team at Orange Mechanical more highly! They just completed installation of a split AC system in our apartment we are so happy with the results. Joe is punctual, easy to reach, transparent, accommodating, detail-oriented, and reasonably priced. Not only did his bid come in well below competitors, but the quality of his work from selecting equipment, to installation, to carpentry and finishing is top notch. Joe respected our home, cleaned up thoroughly after each day, and accommodated our needs around having two adults working from home as well as young kids using the space while the work was done. We are so glad we chose Orange.
Joe is great to work with and very communicative! Joe performed regular maintenance on our HVAC system and gave us a lot of advice on how to get more life of the system (We just moved in and the previous owners were not even using a filter). A few months later, I was having issues with my thermostat, and even though he was out of town, Joe spent a lot of time helping me debug the issue over email until we were able to get the thermostat working again. I plan to use Orange Mechanical for all of our future HVAC work!
Orange Mechanical replaced an HVAC system in our apartment and we highly recommend them. Joe was responsive and straight forward in the evaluation process so we understood what we were paying for and why. There were no additional or hidden costs. Joe and his team were on time, professional, and went above our expectations. I have had nightmare experiences with other companies for HVAC servicing so it was a massive relief to see how punctual and thorough they were. There were also two follow ups after the install which Joe and team very proactive about. We did not have to chase them down or wait a long time for them to come back and finish things off. Would hire them again in a second!
I had only all 5 star rated contractors come for an estimate for a Mini-Split system: none on them came close to Joe. He was able to come the same day, sharp on time. Regarding installation, his expertise extended beyond superior indoor and outdoor unit placement options to consideration for aesthetic and construction aspects in detail unseen before - to cruicial advice on building code, smart thermostat, to technical funtional aspects. No question left unchecked, no problem unsolved. The punctuality, expertise, courteousness, attention to detail is on a level of it's own. If you are looking for the best, Joe is it.
Joe was absolutely wonderful. Our neighbor recommended him to us, and we are incredibly thankful for that. Joe did our entire HVAC system and water on demand. We really wanted to do everything we could to maximize space, and Joe made sure the project was done to perfection. The job site was kept clean and orderly. Every time I called Joe, he was quick to answer and always came through I highly recommend him!
Joe and his team were excellent! They recently completed a Mitsubishi system installation for my home. At the end of every day, they cleaned up and he also took care of some patching and painting that was required. I can not be happier with the job he did and will be recommending Orange Mechanical in the future.
We worked with Joe and his team to completely overhaul our heating/AC and hot water systems. At every step of the way, he was accessible (even if he couldn't be on site every moment), he and his team were professional, they kept the job site very clean and most importantly, in the end we couldn't be happier with the change outs in the systems. We went from an antiquated, inefficient and very loud heating/AC unit to a dual system that we can barely hear and works wonderfully - no more inconsistent temperature zones! He also changed out our hot water system from a tank to tankless - which works amazingly! His entire plan opened up our mechanical closet so we now have a ton of storage and we were able to make a laundry area - both huge benefits in functionality and value for our Brooklyn apt.
Joe and his team are the best. They're thorough, respectful and did high quality work. We did our research before selecting Orange Mechanical and I'm glad we picked them. I couldn't imagine a better contractor. We'll certainly recommend them to neighbors and friends - you should work with Orange Mechanical if you can.
