This company was called through my property management Co for my rental property. Tenant complaint due to allergies so this company was called to inspect. Technician said coils and blower fan were dirty and needed cleaning. Brand new units so when my property guy told me he needed to sent this company to clean unit ($700 estimate) I said no and called my regular HVAC guys to inspect on memorial weekend 2023. Total bogus $700 estimate! Coils and blower are clean like brand new so they lied about the condition of the unit. This company also said there may be sewer smell coming from drain. IMPOSSIBLE because the 2 drains both have p-traps so it's not possible for sewer smells to "leach" into rental units. Very disappointing to have Optimum Air Co. I think this is is not a real company but a "advertising Subcontractor" sendng unscrupulous hustlers to prey on customers that are not knowledgeable.
My home warranty sent this company and I am not pleased!! Fixed the capacitor and said I could use refridgent. Never did he say your ac would not work. After one and half hours later still blowing out hot air, I called the company. I reached a very rude gentleman who think I work in the ac business. And said u didn’t want the refridgent. Had GREG said your ac will not cool without it I would have gotten it!! Very rude gentleman was screaming at me and said I am calling your warranty company because we are not coming back out today! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. NOT PROFESSIONAL OR KNOWLEDGEABLE AT ALL!!
Michael was very knowledgeable and honest. We got 5 estimates done and his experience level blew the other technicians out of the water!
Service Specialist Michael did a fantastic job! He was very kind, and very knowledgeable! It took less than an hour to get my A/C back up and running from the time they were supposed to arrive to the time he left. Plus, they arrived several hours before the "scheduled to arrive" time. And phoned prior to arrival to make sure it was okay to come early!
Bought an ac unit back in 2018 from them. They've been helpful and honest throughout the support and maintenance of it. Had a couple things go wrong, but they quickly corrected them.
Michael was on time for my appointment and was able to fix my situation in no time. It was good to see the owner of the company come out and actually interact with the customers and it was also good to support a local business. He was very knowledgeable about what issues I had and what needed to be resolved. I'd had a negative experience with someone from their company ( who is no longer with them per Michael), and he was very apologetic about that experience, and this went a long way to restoring my confidence. While probably not the cheapest out there, I will definitely keep them as my company to use because of the quality of the work done.

We were assigned Optimum Air by our Home Warranty company and it has been nothing but awful. Our tech, Stephen, who is inexperienced is SO nice and apologetic. However, it has now been a week that we have been without AC and I am not happy. Originally, Stephen said that our motor went out, so he had to order a new part and said that he'd be back the next day. They didn't schedule him, so he came the day after he said he would. When he got there, he realized that the new motor didn't include a mount... which, he'd also have to order. So he comes back Monday morning with a mount for the new motor but he couldn't figure out how to re-wire it and had another tech come help him. At that point, they realized that he/they fried the board and that it would take 1-7 days to come in after ordering it. ONE TO SEVEN DAYS IN TEXAS "FALL". The office has not been apologetic at all for sending an inexperienced tech.
I've had Optimum Air out to fix 2 separate issues. Both times, I was treated with courtesy and respect while he quickly and professionally diagnosed and fixed the issue with my unit. I wish more companies were like them!
Been with Optimum Air for over 6 years. First 1-2 years was good, every since, nothing short of awful. Tens and tens of phone calls to get an appointment, cancelled appointments in Optimum’s side, lying over and over, not honest about work performed, they do not have the customers best interests in mind - instead they want to do as little work as possible for the most money and then not own up to it when labor/parts fail - please stay away from Optimum Air - there are plenty of other HVAC companies that are more reputable in the DFW area.
We had our air go out in the terrible heat and had a new unit in our home and operational within 24 hours We were beyond happy with the installation and the clean up There was never a sign that workers had been in our home They have us as a lifelong customer
This company sent out a technician about 2 years ago to check my unit on my roof. The technician put a hole next to the sky light when on the roof testing unit and left the job leaving behind his ladder and never coming back. When I confronted the company management about the situation and damage they said they would get back to me but I have yet to get this resolved.

I'm only using this company because they're contracted by my home warranty. They no showed and didn't bother calling me. So beware to anyone using them.
This is my go to AC company! These guys are professional and very good at their job. Have referred them to my family and friends too.

I have had a problem with my cooling coils on my old AC unit since last year so I decided to call a few companies to get a quote for coil replacement and complete unit replacement. Optimum Air came out to give me an estimate the same day and they were the first of four companies I had called. Mike gave it a quick look since I already knew the coils needed to be replaced. He priced me all my options quickly and I decided didn't make sense to keep dropping money into a 19 year old unit. We settled on a unit and they were out the next day to install it. Three very polite young men were on time and started right away. Couple of hours and the unit in the attic and the compressor out back were replaced and the old unit hauled away. They cleaned up after themselves well and I have nothing but praises for my experience with Optimum Air Co. Great deal, quick and professional service. Happy as can be.
The absolute nicest man came out to my home yesterday to fix my heat that was not working downstairs, his name is Joel. Joel was just awesome, and he got me up and running. He was like my little guardian Angel, I am so glad that I stumbled across this company and the great reviews I saw on YELP, they definitely do not disappoint.
