Optimal Heating and Cooling is the best. Igor and Alexi carefully mapped out our AC system, carefully installed in March and came back in May to give us a great tutorial on its operation in more typical temperatures. Best of all, Igor convinced us to change out our 1,000-year-old thermostat to a system that is more efficient and responsive to temperature changes in our home. Bonus: Igor and Alexi are delightful people — a pleasure to have in our home.

I cannot say enough good things about the owner Igor, he was not only responsive, timely, professional and clean but all around a good guy. There was never a question I had for him that he didn’t have an answer for. I will only use optimal heating and cooling for anything I need done in the future. No other HVAC company compares to the quality of service that Igor provides!
Igor and Serge were great. I had a complete furnace install with new ductwork. They were courteous and professional and they went above and beyond expectations. I highly recommend them.
Igor is very fair and will work with you to ensure you're getting exactly what you need/want. He provided several options, and did not pressure me into spending more than I needed. I was able to get furnace, AC and all new ductwork installed within my budget. Very professional crew he has working with him, they were as clean and tidy as possible and completed the work in 2 days. I was even able to text him questions a few weeks after installation and he answered right away. I would recommend Optimal Heating and cooling to all my friends and family.

Fast Efficient & Knowledgeable. There's a reason these guys are in such high demand. They just know what they are doing. Most recently I had them install a gas fireplace and the work was completed in a matter of hours. Also a while back they put in a new high-efficiency gas furnace and heat-pump for me and it all works beautifully. If ever I need help with HVAC, this is the company I call. Yes, they might not be able to turn around to do your job immediately due to being extremely busy all of the time, but if given the chance, they will always outperform the competition in price and quality!

We found Optimal Heating & Cooling (and Igor) through the Thumbtack app. Igor and his team were professional and capable at every step in the process. When Igor came (from Gresham to Beaverton) to give us a free estimate on a new furnace and AC, he spotted something wrong with our furnace and fixed it for us because he said he wouldn't be able to sleep that night knowing that the problem was a safety risk for our family. He answered every question we had with patience and understanding. His quote matched the other lowest price quote we received, but I feel our experience with Igor and his team couldn't be matched elsewhere. An inspector for the city of Beaverton came by (at Igor's request, and with our permission) to inspect his work (something that is not necessary to do but they take pride in the work they complete) and the inspector said it was an excellent install. After having air conditioning in this ridiculous Portland heat for about a month now, we are so happy we did this. It works wonderfully, and I know if we ever did have any issues, Igor would gladly come back and fix things (he guarantees his work!) If you're thinking of hiring someone, at least give Igor a chance to do a free estimate. He'll win you over!
