Very good experience with Optimal Air Cooling and Heating. They worked the entire day removing and installing a new unit. They hit many snags, but didn’t complain once. Alfonso is great. You can be sure he’ll take care of your needs at a great price.
Best service ever, I've called all other AC companies and waited for days. This guy Alfonso picks up his phone and say I'll be there in 30 minutes. Walked him in and out of my house checked out the system and had it mapped detailed replacement and install of the new unit and I was sold. Loved the professionalism, the honesty ,the friendliness. His crew the best people ever, very passionate about their work, and polite, very good people. Awesome work guys. Very very satisfactory workmanship . Thank you very much.

We called Optimal Heating & Air originally after our air conditioning stopped working last summer and they made it out the same day that we called. They arrived on time and explained the issue to us before repairing our unit. We had them back recently to service our unit and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. I am happy with the service and highly recommend Optimal Heating & Air.
There are several good service providers in Bakersfield that I’ve used over the years, but once I found optimal, heating and air, I call them first. They are friendly, professional, and honest. They also come out during emergencies like very hot weather when systems need repairing. I had work done today and I am glad I called them.

I had my HVAC system replaced by Optimal Heating & Air, owned and operated by Alfonso, last summer when my unit quit. Alfonso came out and did the job within a week in the busiest time of the year. The unit came from Goodman in Bakersfield. When it was time to use the heater, I discovered that part of the unit had issues. Alfonso, working with Goodman, tried several times to fix the unit and replaced several parts but was not able to fix it due to supply chain issues and parts needed. Every time I called Alfonso, he came to my house the same day or the next day. He tried so very hard to make things right and make the heater work. But all HVAC systems sold now are all new technology on the heating side due to environmental laws in California so parts are hard to get. I requested that Goodman replace the whole unit with a heat pump since I now have solar. I had no problem with Goodman agreeing to this for no charge. Goodman stands by the equipment they sell. Alfonso had to completely do the whole job over again replacing both the attic unit and the outside compressor part, plus additional things like rearranging the drip plan & repiping the drip lines; getting an electrician to run additional heavier gage wire, etc. it was a two day job. The unit, like my old unit, is up in the attic. It was quite the feet watching Alfonso and his team get the unit up through the hole in my closet. I now have a great, working heater THAT DOES NOT USE GAS!!! And we tested the AC and it is awesome and it is energy efficient too. Alfonso and his team stand by their work, respond to their clients right away to make things right. Plus he’s pretty funny too! If you need anything done to your HVAC unit, call Optimal Heating and Air!!
Our 20 year old AC decided to call it quits during the first heatwave of the year. We contacted optimal and it was smooth sailing from there. Alfonso is knowledgable, professional, and thorough. He was out here the day after we called him and the following day our new AC was in! Forever grateful for how quickly and efficiently it all happened. I would recommend Optimal again and again!
