Omega Air was my assigned AC company through my home warranty plan. On one of the hottest record breaking days of this summer at 114 degrees, my AC died. Of course, it is the busiest time of the year so I realize how busy everyone is. Jamie and Leo squeezed me in within 48 hrs. Leo got my system up and running quickly. Both men are very personable, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them!

I can’t say enough about Jamie at Omega Air. We have been babying our AC unit since last summer and have had at least 4 companies look at it. The last company told us that we needed a new compressor but our unit was too old and needed to be replaced for $14,000. We contacted a distributor and found out that they DO still make compressors for our unit. We asked the distributor to recommend an honest, reliable person. He gave us Jamie’s name at Omega Air. What a wonderful experience. We have a new compressor and attic fan and cool, sweet air for a fraction of what a new unit would be. I will be spreading the word. Thank you Jamie for your honesty and customer service! P.S. He made friends with my two dogs so double blessing!

Long review, but worth mentioning our terrible experience with another company...We moved into our house last year and upon inspection knew the return for the AC in the house whistled. Previous to working with Omega Air, we had a well-known and highly recommended HVAC company out to assess the issue. The technician (owner?) who came to the appointment was crochety (the nicest way I can say it.) He didn’t even introduce himself at the door and his first words were “what’s the problem?” I had to look at the name tag just to make sure he was with the company I called. He essentially told us our newly purchased house was terrible, newer houses were better, and we would never be able to cool it appropriately. He told us our HVAC system was very large for the house, which is why the one return wasn’t enough and another needed to be installed. Based purely on the size of the HVAC system and without even peeking at our ducts, they told us the ducts needed to be replaced because they were improperly sized (guess they could just sense it?) They quoted us $10,000. We had them install the return and waited on the ducts. We knew the ducts were in pretty bad shape (not just inappropriately sized), so we still planned to get them replaced but needed to save the money. Finally decided to explore the option again this year and put in a claim to our warranty company and Omega Air was assigned. The warranty company wouldn’t cover any of the work – not surprised. But, from the initial meeting, Jamie was pleasant to work with, complementary of our house, and really took the time to explore all possible options and answer any of my questions. I work remotely, so I’m typically the one to interface with anyone doing repairs on the house. As a female, it can sometimes be difficult to work with contractors, as they may try to dumb things down, not explain everything, or blow off my questions – however, that was never the case with Jamie or Leo (his duct guy) and I so appreciated it. they were contracted under Sears Home Warranty and they are terrifying the appointment was scheduled from 8 am - 12 pm and the technician was contacting him that he was late, at 1 pm he notified that he would go to his lunch and then he would arrive at the house… between 1 and 2 pm we received that our appointment had been canceled DO NOT WASTE TIME WITH THIS COMPANY, your time is also worth it!!!
