They were contacted through American Home Shield. They came out June 8, 2023 and discovered I had a bad compressor. I was told that it would take about 5 days for the part to come in. They didn't place the order for my new compressor until June 29. I literally had to call AHS 6 days in a row in order for them to stay on the company about my ac. From 6/8 until 7/5 I've been without ac waiting on this company. 5 days turned into weeks . If it wasn't for the discount through AHS I would've found another company. Terrible experience. They also left unused parts behind.
I was forced by my home warranty company to use this company. Their rating should be lower. I've been without heat since the wind chill occurred during Christmas. This guy tells us what part we need but refuses to send it to my warranty company. No update, my husband even tried calling at which he said he's doing "research." 😑 On what sir!?! My warranty company refunded my service call fee because this @$$hole is unresponsive, unprofessional, and bites off more than he can chew. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Grade A 🗑
Placed a service order through AHS on Dec 6th. The Jim came out and stayed for about 20 min. He said he fixed the issue. The heat went back out within a week. Reported back to AHS and they did a recall and Jim was sent out againk. He stayed for about 10 min and said everything was all set. The heat went out again within a couple of hours. Called AHS again and advised them this company is not fixing the issue. They placed a 2nd recall and Jim came out again. This time he said he replaced a switch and we should be good now. I now have a power issue in my bedroom and the thermostat down stairs is not working. I only have heat upstairs in my house. AHS was notified again on yesterday of this. I asked to have my service request move to another company. They’re advising they can’t until they receive a diagnosis from the technician. Jim has not reported anything to AHS of what the issue was he supposedly fixed neither times. They recalled the service request again. I asked that they not send Jim back to my home. I received an appointment notice for today from 4:30-8:30 pm and no one showed up. I am so over this company and AHS!!!
3 months in and the repairs have not been completed
Was supposed to be a simple drain line clear. They came out 2x. I had to end up fixing because tech was lazy and did not want to go into attic.

Jim came and checked my air because it’s not keeping up. He told me he would tell my rental agency that the air isn’t keeping up because the unit is too small for this house with the cathedral ceilings. That I need to press the issue to the rental agency for them to replace the unit. Well I got the report and he did fact not tell them any of that. He lied on his report and said that the AC system is running just fine and there’s no issue. Do not trust this company they’re shady esp Jim!! Then he tried to justify why he lied. Save your money and time.
Amongst their professionalism, on time service, knowledge, and quality of work they have huge hearts. My AC stop working on Sunday evening and I just knew that the first appt available would Tuesday since they already had their schedules complete for Monday on Friday. When they texted me Monday and I texted back that if they could squeeze me in on Monday it would be much appreciated since my three puppies thought they were dying in the house. Thank goodness for their love of animals because they had our AC up and running at 2:00 pm. I could never explain my great appreciation for Ohohna AC and their staff for going above and beyond to ensure that my family and fur babies were no longer miserable in our own house. I highly recommend Ohohna to everyone for any repair or installation work.
Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly. He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and repair it within minutes! You couldn't ask for better!
Quick, fun, yes fun, fast and friendly! I almost thought that American Home Shield wasn’t my home warranty company for a minute because they picked such an awesome company! 😂 Explained everything in laymens terms and very respectful and communicative with respect to appointment time and getting you taken care of as fast as possible. I rarely recommend anyone but they have my complete high recommendation
Called and gone warranty assigned. Jim texted said unusual but had same day (home warranty request) opening but window of 20 minutes. I scrambled to get someone to my home as I was on an airplane Showed up in the time frame then figured out issue in less than 10 minutes. I wasn't there but he called me and told me issue and what he did... so simple but definitely learned something that may prevent another period of killer heat in my upstairs. Professional.... we'll definitely request through warranty again or revert if anyone ask.

Wow! I submitted an order through my home warranty and immediately received and awesome message from the customer stating Same Day service may be impossible but they would contact me if any cancelations. Sure enough a cancelation came through - Thank you! I immediately received a text message advising of this and asked if I wanted the appt! He was here quick and advised when he was on his way! He corrected the problem but also checked another area that I had mentioned had been a problem before. Luckily it was just the capacitor but I call that over and beyond service!! Thanks you so much!
Dude came out thru AHS, said I needed a part, and then disappeared. He never filed anything thru AHS, so I've been sitting without a working AC for 6 extra days while he has repeatedly sent me to voicemail, and not responded to texts. What HVAC guy doesn't even have a van. I should have known when he showed up in something like a 1998 Explorer, that he probably wasn't a reputable choice. I have tried to have AHS fire the guy and send someone else out, but that isn't working. This is why I would never recommend this guy, nor American Home Shield.
They were called on behalf of AHS. Response at the beginning was great. The repair di not work. Contacted them again and still had good communication and would come back out to try something else. Last I heard of them. Tried reaching out 3 separate times to no response back. Now AHS tried reaching out as well and its been two months. Still trying to get AHS to find another contractor. But seems these guys are just collecting warranty work deposits and moving on. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Best experience!! I’ve gone through my warranty company 7 times trying to find the final fix to my HVAC issue. Ohohna was the chosen company this go around and thank GOODNESS! They found the culprit, the smart thermostat, replaced it with a more compatible and reliable one, and that was it! I am SO happy with my experience with Ohohna, I’ll use them from here on out!

The Google Reviews rating made me quite nervous. And what was odd is that the company's ratings through HomeAdvisor are really impressive. Despite my worry, Ohahna provided a good solid service and fixed the problem. When Jim arrived, I addressed my concerns about the Google reviews with him directly. I know, that wasn't a nice way to greet him. Fortunately, he understood my concerns and was not at all defensive about it. (Maturity is always nice.) He didn't shy away from the concern and shared his thoughts on why things like that happened. Example: since he exclusively does home warranty service calls, many clients expect/hope for a particular outcome (like a replacement - with the home warranty paying for it) and it turns out a repair will be sufficient. I can see that. There certainly could be other reasons why a person could be unhappy though. He was very patient with me as I peppered him with questions about the system and what he was doing, all while he worked. He seems to do just the right amount of work to solve the problem. He showed up when he said he would and did the work he promised to do. And a little bit extra. Frankly, he also made it one of the best home warranty experiences I have had since we moved here 18 months ago. THAT was refreshing! I would definitely use him again.
