Oak City is reliable: They showed up on time, a couple of days after another company flaked on me. They didn't try to "upsell" me on anything, and rather saved me money! Definitely recommend them!

Eric from Oak City Heating and Air has to be the most professional and reliable person I’ve ever hired! I found his profile on thumbtack at almost 10pm Tuesday night and he responded within 2 minutes and stated he could come out Wednesday afternoon between 3-5. I thought the turn around was to quick and he may have to reschedule but he was quick to respond and on time and completed my ac maintenance in less that half an hour! I will definitely be using his service again for all my AC needs. Oh, he also has a $99 plan, so if hired don’t forget to ask him about it!
I had a huge grill I purchased and he came looked at what needed to be done which was extensive work and was done within 4 days after accepting the job I WILL DEFINITELY USE HOM AGAIN
Eric was very responsive when i reached out to him. He is punctual and areived on time. Eric helped me diagnose an issue with my breaker panel and electrical junction box. He explained the issue and the resolution very clearly. He then proceeded to resolve the issue very efficiently. Eric also offered his professional advise for future work which, when the time arises, I will be calling him again for help with.

Eric is an absolute professional in every regard, straight forward, honest, technically capable, more than fair value, and prompt. He was quick to respond, answer questions, and provide candid advise. He took care of the warranty paperwork on the heat exchanger, and efficiently replaced the cracked exchanger with a new one. I highly recommend Oak City Heating and Air.

Eric came out and fixed an issue with my gas furnace. When I contacted him I already had a different HVAC technician identify the issue, and it was a broken blower motor that needed to be replaced. He did his own troubleshooting and found that the motor wasn't completely broken, and it seemed to work at the time. He recommended that I do nothing and just wait and see. I was impressed that he advocated for me saving money by not getting a repair that I may not actually need. He easily gained my trust that day. In the end a few weeks later the blower motor did completely break - I called him, he responded right away, and came out the same day to do the complete repair. Wow! I should also mention that I got estimates from 3 other HVAC companies for the same repair, and Eric's cost was the lowest. 5 stars for professionalism, responsiveness, trustworthiness, and value. He will definitely be my go-to the next time I need anything for my HVAC system.
We've only been living in this area for over 3 years. When we first moved in our heater motor died and we called around and got the first person who could come out. They were ok but the owner had a shady quality about him and when our AC coil had a leak after only being 2 years old he wanted to charge us a ridiculous amount to install the free under manufacturer warranty. So we started looking around this time and took our time to find someone who is professional, trustworthy, and of quality. Well we found it with Oak City Heating and Air. The first time we talked to Eric we knew. His rates are very fair. In fact almost less than half of what we would've paid if we stayed with that shmo. You can't go wrong with Oak City. Quality work, great turnaround time, and honest!
We called them and they came the same day. Very informative on what we needed and started job immediately. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PRICE. BEST COMPANY HAVE FOUND. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
