Don’t look any further! We had a brand new HVAC system installed approximately three years ago by another local company, that I won’t name. Since then we have had multiple problems at this rental property. We recently called a contractor to come and inspect the system and make recommend repairs that were needed. They gave us a list of limited repairs that were going to cost a fortune. We decided to contact O’Brien HVAC to have their professional opinion. The technician was very professional, prompt, and courteous. He gave us the recommendations to get the unit working properly. Upon inspecting the system he found the system was not even properly installed inside. We decided to go with O’Brien HVAC. They came out disassembled the interior unit fully cleaned all components. Most of the air was leaking into the closet and not coming out of the vents to heat and cool the rooms. They removed the air handler and installed it properly. The job was done very professionally in a timely manner at a fraction of the other contractors costs. I would highly recommend O’Brien HVAC to anyone who is looking to have the job done properly the first time! Thank you so much we appreciate your company and will be using you for all our HVAC needs moving forward.
Thank you Bill for your great service! We were having some hvac issues in our house. He was very quick to come assess and solve the problem. After the main issue was repaired, he could have left but he stayed and checked on our outdoor unit as well. Very thorough! Then there was another issue on our outdoor unit we were unaware of. He asked us to double check our electric bill and he was right, it was $300 higher than usual! He fixed that problem as well at a reasonable price. Thanks so much again for all of your help! Highly recommend.
Came back from vacation to a cold house and the HVAC motor not working. I inquired with several HVAC repair companies on New Year's Eve/Day. I wasn't expecting a response until the 2nd, but Bill O'Brien responded right away. He was able to fix the issue before anyone else responded to my original inquiry. I highly recommend O'Brien HVAC Services and would work with them again in the future.
Had to give them one star to write this but they don’t deserve it. Had a contract with them that was useless….$189. Called to get them to come out and make a spring check up as contract guaranteed and they never returned my call to make an appointment. Called for a fall check up and had an appointment but he never showed. Don’t waste your money or time….owner has serious issues with keeping his word. Talks a good game but no follow through.

O'Brien was very flexible and easy to work with. On the day they were scheduled to come, we had a family emergency. They came quickly to accommodate our schedule and showed sensitivity. In all communications, they were efficient, straightforward, and explained everything clearly. I have no qualms about the quality of the work. Will be using them again.
My A/C quit cooling over night. I called O'Brien HVAC Services and had it repaired the same day. Quality and value. Bill is very knowledgeable and repaired the unit in less than an hour. Will definitely use his business again.

The first time I called Bill, I had no heat in upstairs. He arrived within 20 minutes, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Recently, I had AC issues. Bill again quickly diagnosed the problem. It was a major repair but he was able to acquire the part the same day and come again the next day to install. It was a blisteringly hot day, but he and his partner spent time in a 130F attic to get the job done and restore my AC.
Our A/C system suddenly stopped blowing cold air yesterday evening and Bill O'Brien came to the rescue same-day and fixed a failed capacitor on our unit. While he diagnosed the issue, he additionally completed a system check to ensure another issue wouldn't arise in the near future. Bill was very professional, and answered all the questions I had about what was up with our A/C system. I highly recommend using his services and will definitely use O'Brien HVAC services from now on with any/all my A/C & HVAC needs!
*Update* 3/22/22 Scheduled another appointment and we're very pleased with the service provided. We received a thorough breakdown on the details of our system and what the recommended maintenance entailed as well as what to look out for in the future with our system. We look forward to future appointments for our HVAC maintenance and highly recommend O'Brien HVAC.
Veteran owned and operated, quick service, honest and fair pricing! What else can you ask for? Bill and his staff are wonderful. Through the years, they have done a few HVAC services for me. Including recently, the installation of a while-house steam humidifier. He is knowledgeable and patient with questions and will always give you his honest opinion. I have already recommended them to several people and will continue to do so!
Our rental property’s heat went out right before the snow storm. Called a company to come out, but they rescheduled and on the second date didn’t call to say they were on their way until 7PM, hours after they were due. Called Bill O’Brien and he responded within 5 minutes. Scheduled us for the next day. He was prompt, courtesy, and thorough and fixed our issues. Bottom line: He was such a professional that I recommend him to all those I know. Will definitely use his company for any future work. Thanks Bill!!!
