Death by a thousand (or a few dozen) missed appointments This is a one man shop w David. He’s perfectly competent and transparent when diagnosing and addressing technical issues. But things begin to crack when scheduling next steps w David. When forced to use softer skills around the project to manage appointments, ordering parts, etc; the communication deteriorates. Pressing for explanations leads to defensiveness, and/or key details getting omitted. This will test even the most patient and gracious homeowner or shop owner. Save the time and headaches, call the next HVAC or refrigeration specialist ->Parts not getting ordered 2.5-3 weeks after you’ve approved invoices, transferred cash, and verbally approved as well ->Missed upwards of 20+ appointments he committed to over the timeframe of my project (3.5 month span from Feb-May). Including 5 straight weeks off of no-shows from April 5-May 11 ->*CURRENTLY BLOCKED BY DAVID* from getting warranty credit from a part I paid in full for. The local parts company has credit waiting to be sent to us, but they have never seen a situation like this where the merchant does not sign off on approval to return the funds to the customer. Have offered to meet in person to give David $ for this 30 second email authorization to no response & my number being blocked ->Warranty claim failed two times (upon part order and after system repair) because David submitted inaccurate details for the part and its serial number. Never double checked the part with his claim submissions. I took the claim over after approx 2 months of limited progress and odd non-answers. Resolved submission w a 15 min call and two emails
I'm a contractor from Fort Lauderdale Florida the job site was on Jamaica Ave no power to the AC unit and they came in and handled everything from testing to electrical check to Unit repaired and serviced . Without a second thought I would recommend this company to anyone in Hollis ,Bronx, Rosedale , queens etc.... Ligit work professional and he teaches you as he work to solve the issue.great price too. Give him a call ......
We meet on a down pump on a cooler job very respectful man Dave was great....I would use again
We used this service, they took our money and never came back to do the job, left us with a broken cooler on a busy weekend with no way to operate our business. We lost money.. Avoid this business like the plague they will take your money and not come back.
AVOID! TOTAL SCAM ALERT! Left our business high and dry. We called this company over a year ago to repair an issue with our walk in cooler. He came and diagnosed the problem, told us we needed parts, we paid him for the parts and we never saw him again, the very same guy was called again this week for a repair because we didn’t know it was the same man that never returned last time. This time, he took our money and never returned. After he got paid he never showed back up, when I reached him by text he said if I wanted my parts I’d have to drive to queens to get them a year later and had no excuse for why he took my money and never showed back up. Then he stopped answering calls and emails and texts. This is a scam, do not use this company,
Our business had to deal with a broken fan and boiler issue before our grand opening date. David came and assessed everything, and he knew exactly what was wrong and he got on the repair and knew what he was doing with confidence. I had three other guys before David came over to look at the unit and they were just waste of money and time BUT David from NY Refrigeration & Air Conditioning knew what the problem was and got to the point, explained everything in detail and got on the job and got our heating back at our business before the promised deadline. I really appreciate him working so hard and vigilantly even late at night to finish the job on time and we all appreciate him so so much.
Poor service not recommended if you don't want your money to waste.
I paid the technician in advance trusting this company would have fixed the banging noise from my radiators in my home. After 2 months problem is still not resolved and my furniture got damaged during the process. I would not recommend this company to anyone!
From selecting the proper ductless unit to completing installation. The process was very informative and smooth. Overall I’m very satisfied.

Gave a call to this company about co2 monitor going off the company came by immediately. A problem Was Detected an evaluation was performed. A proposal was produced and work was completed. This is a very Professional Company and this company saved my life ! !
Professional service. Courteous. Answered all of my questions. Paid attention to detail and treated my home is if it were his own. I would definitely recommend.
David was very professional and knows his work very well. I contacted him on Sunday evening after Thanksgiving when nobody was available. He came to my residence within an hour and checked out my refrigerator which wasn’t working and checked it out and told me what the problem was. He solved the problem in an hour. Very professional and excellent service. Thanks David for your work.
Random googling at 3am while my apartment filled with water got me to David. He was there faster than he'd promised and stayed for hours getting everything in great shape. He helped with cleanup, fixed the pipes, was knowledgeable and reassuring. Def an above and beyond service. He was prepared even though he didn't really know that he was walking into and he came back and took care of more repairs the next day. So grateful he helped us thru an emergency!
My HVAC went out late night on a Sunday not only was Dave responsive but he fixed the problem quickly. Truly professional and I would highly recommend his services. 5 star...

He was straightforward and upfront with me, and I appreciated his professionalism and knowledge to that specific issues I had with my home furnace. Dave was very well spoken , respectable and well educated in his field . From staying to see my heater working to explaining to me what was being repaired in detail along with giving me great advice in cutting costs and giving every single unbiased option in heating and cooling my home. Would def call them again !
