We used NW to install our hvac system for our new construction homes. They installed our duct work for fans, dryer vent, range hood, and gas free standing stove they also installed our mini split systems. This company is horrible from the installers all the way to the owner Christine. They had no clue what they were doing. I had to call them back over 10 times just to get ready for drywall. After drywall it took them over 6 months to get our mini splits working correctly. The small house still isn’t working correctly due to the fact they installed too small of a unit (the manufacturer said for the size of house it needed a larger unit or a second). Originally we were wanting 2 units which we had asked for from the beginning and she assured us it would be enough to heat the house. After the house was almost finish she said we needed back up heaters installed because the model of mini splits couldn’t keep up with the weather. Christine also gave us another option of installing a second heater for $5,000. I asked why she would install a unit that couldn’t handle the winter temperatures and she said they could if you put in a back up heater which she should have told us at the beginning of the project not the end(she would not except fault). When it came to the installation of the free standing gas stoves they cut a square hole in the metal roof and painted the stove pipe with regular spray paint instead of high temp stove paint ( again would not except fault and blamed the supply company for the mistake instead of just reading the spray can). They had to replace the pipe completely and when they painted it with the correct paint the paint job was subpar. We refused to pay until the units were working correctly and when it came time to settle up she tried to charge another $4000 extra because she had never dealt with spray foam or drywall and didn’t know how to prepare there units for the other trades(again couldn’t except fault for doing poor work). I refu
Christine was amazing and evaluated my ac that very day, going above and beyond expectations. My part was ordered and John installed it right away. Timely, professional and most of all honest without trying to upsell or take advantage. If I ever need any other service I will call them again for sure.
My AC unit went out during a record breaking heat wave and NW Heating & Cooling fixed it the next day! I was even scheduled a return visit. Fantastic service.
I can’t say enough nice things about NW Heating & Cooling!! After our furnace went out during an unexpected snowstorm, we had the first company we could get out to our home. They said it was the gas meter which was going to be $800 and then the mother board which was going to be $1200 or we could get a new one for $3500. After sticker shock we decided to get a second opinion. Our realtor suggested NW Heating and Cooling! Jon their tech was able to come out quickly, assess that it was only the igniter touching metal, and after tightening it was fixed for less than $200!! They are honest, knowledgeable and quick! We are definitely customers for life!
Thanks Christine, Jon and crew for the hard work. What a pleasure dealing with you guys from bid to job completion. The Mitsubishi multi-head mini splits are absolutely fantastic. So glad we took your advice on system and had you do the work. We definitely recommend you and will use you from now on for any of our HVAC needs.
I have used these guys forever and now I know why! They came up to fix a problem in which they did, however a few weeks later had another issue. It seemed unrelated so I called again, they came immediately and recognized it was a little mistake from the earlier call, fixed in a minute and no charge. I would have never known, thank you for your honesty and loyalty! Michelle Palm
Best HVAC company in Spokane County. It’s worth the extra time and money to get your heating and cooling needs taken care of here. Wether an install or just a service. They are top notch and the friendliest service you can experience. ❤️
I called Storm Mechanical for service work and was redirected to Northwest heating and coolings office. I was told they were "helping" Storm Mechanicals customers since Storm went out up business. I was calling to find out the cost of a yearly maintenance on my heater. The women on the phone told me it was $129 and it included " running my heater to see if it works, cleaning my heater and changing the filter". When I asked if that's all.you do she then said " I think there's a 10 or 15 point inspection but I'm not sure what it is". She offered to find out and call me back. Then I asked her what was their labor per hour for service and she told me it's $85 or $100 but she wasn't sure. Again she told me she would call me back with the correct information. Needless to say she never did call me back so it appears Northwest is no better than the company that went out of business! I called another company who actually knew what they provide and the prices and went with them instead. I would not recommend Northwest because they can't even handle a simple phone call.
Northwest Heating and Cooling came highly recommended by our real estate agent, and we couldn't have been more impressed! They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Quick, thorough, flexible and good communication throughout. It's nice to see a locally owned and operated business with integrity, thank you!
We needed an inspection done on our furnace and hot water tank due to selling our home. We had NW Heating and Cooling come out. The guy that came out was really nice and very knowledgeable. He called to confirm the appointment and asked if it was OK to show up early. Pricing extremely reasonable and was less then expected prior to calling. I WILL call them for the next time we ever need help! Thank You NW H&C.
Great company that I trust. Knowledgeable and friendly technicians! Thanks for being awesome!
I had NW Heating and Cooling install a gas fireplace at my rental unit. and the installer used the renters vacuum as a shop vacuum and ruined it. I guess he forgot his shop vac in another truck. I told them about it while I was out of town, and Christine at NW Heating never offered to help get it or fix it. She asked for the vacuum, which the renter had several emails about how unprofessional it was, but I assumed that meant NW Heating was going to replace the $60 vacuum. Now NW Heating is saying they are not going to reimburse the renter for it. After a $1500 install bill to run some new chimney pipe, I sure thought they would have given the renter back $60. But, it gets better, after a month of back and forth emails, Christine blamed me and the renter for this. Apparently we provided the installers with substandard equipment for them to use, so clearly it is our fault. I would love for them to answer this simple question, who ruined the vacuum? Did I ruin it? Did the renter? Or did the installer? Perhaps they will say the tooth fairy came in a ruined it. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever seen.
Great and friendly service at a great price! I would definitely recommend these guys!
