We had a new AC and heater installed. After 2 years, it was failing and leaking. They said we had a leak from a faulty o-ring (not covered by warranty) they fixed that for $300. It worked great for the rest of the summer. Then, the next year, it wasn't working again and was freezing up. They came and said it was a leak again. (Once again, not covered by warranty). So, another $600 to replace a part of the coil. Here we are the very next year, and it's broken again! We were so fed up with Northern Colorado Air, that we called someone else in. They started looking, took a piece of caulk off the new coil, and it started just pouring out all our refrigerant! There was a huge hole in the coil that they just covered with caulk and covered up!! We called, and they said they could charge us $130 to just come take a look, but it would probably cost at least $2000 to fix, and surprise, surprise, wouldn't be covered by warranty. I'M DONE WITH THEM. DO NOT RECOMMEND, DO NOT USE THEM. Save your money!
I've done ton of business with them and they're always responsive, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. One tech overcharged me for a thermostat install and they actually called me a few days later after they discovered the error to refund me the difference. Really appreciate the integrity!
Bill was our service tech and he was great. Bill checked and tuned up our furnace and offered many tips and advice to help us stay comfortable. Everything was professional and on-time. I highly recommend Northern Colorado Air and Bill.
I recently started having problems with my air conditioning. It was running all the time and barely keeping the home cool. I have a 6 year old Lennox system. I had Service Experts in Longmont come to my home and tell me that I need to replace my entire system ($22,000!!!). I said - NO WAY! So I called Plumbline. They came out the next day and quoted me $4,000 - $4,800 to fix my system - so they suggested that I pay $5,000 - $10,000 on a new air conditioner. Now, if someone tells you that you need to spend $5-$10k, you get a 2nd quote. So I called Northern Colorado Air. Spoke to Mike on the phone and he seemed to think that Plumbline was taking me for a ride and suggested a visit. Matt came out to my home. For less than $300 he has my home cooling normally. Long story, short - they've earned a loyal customer who respects their honesty and integrity - which is apparently in short supply in the HVAC world. Thank you so much!
Nick Spady (Texhnician) was awesome! He did a great job on our A/C, Furnace and made recommendations. Overall great experience! Thanks Nick!
Good service
Steve Mazzei was our tech. He found a couple of issues with our system, explained what the issue was and what we could do between maintenance visits to prevent recurrence. He's got a great sense of humor and cares about doing the job right. I would like to see more proactive scheduling of the biannual maintenance checks, but overall the service is great.
I like how your driver is wreckleas and cuts through an ongoing traffic going the opposite direction so he doesn't have to obey traffic laws and almost causes an accident.
Matt White (service tech) was extraordinary! Polite, helpful, extremely professional, he went above and beyond to make sure our older A.C. and furnace at our new home were functioning efficiently and effectively, without simply trying to upsell us a new make/model (like another HVAC provider in the area attempted). The folks at Northern Colorado Air are knowledgeable and great to work with! I've recommended them already to my realtor, who knows everyone, and will recommend them again and again to friends and family alike.
