Hector came out within an hour of my phone call. He was professional and fixed our air conditioner quickly. He explained everything clearly. I will call him the next time I need his services.

I needed a mini split installed in my garage and Nor Cal came through! Hector and his partner were very kind and professional and answered every question I had. They were also very communicative and direct. The finished product was a clean and polished finish and works great. I can’t thank you guys enough!!
I want to let you know that Hector the owner of Nor Cal Heating is literally the best professional person in whole entire world, I called him in the night asking for help because my heating did not wanted to turn on and my house was freezing i was really stressed because i have a newborn when I told that to Hector he immediately said that he would be in my house in the next hour and he did! He literally fixed my heating in less that 30 minutes was already working thanks to him!! I would definitely call him again if i need my heating or cooling to be fixed! The best company!!!
My family and I have had two WONDERFUL experiences with Nor Cal Heating and Cooling. Back in September 2022 when Sacramento was experiencing a heat wave over the Labor Day Holiday, of course our A/C decided to stop blowing cool air. In a panic, I sent a message to several friends to ask if anyone had a recommendation for a HVAC company. Thankfully I had a friend (actually a co-worker) who referred me to Nor Cal Heating and Cooling (Hector). I text the phone number and provided a brief explanation of the issue. I received a response back within the hour. Not only did I receive a quick response, but Hector was able to come to our home that same day, assess the situation, determine the issue and fix the problem (capacitor replacement). We were so happy to be back up and running with cool air. We were also impressed with Hector’s customer service as he explained everything. So very impressed that we signed up for his ongoing maintenance. Fast forward to December 2022 (now the colder months), my husband and I left the house for a few hours but when we returned we noticed it was a bit chilly in the house. We left the heater on automatic to kick on once/if it reached 70 degrees or below, but for some unknown reason it just wasn’t kicking on. Luckily we knew just who to contact. I text Hector, briefly explained the issue and within a few hours he was at our house. He performed some routine sensor and amp checks and also maintenance (seasonal service as a preventive measure). Not sure what triggered the heat to not come on but it’s been working great ever since. Hector also discussed options with us should it happen again. I would definitely recommend Nor Cal Heating and Cooling for many reasons: responsive, excellent customer service, professional, reliable, cost-effective, and up to date on technology for payment and invoicing (both times, invoice was sent to us electronically via e-mail).
