Though I did not have the opportunity to use New York Mechanical, as I called on short notice, I wanted to share my personal experience, My unit was not performing and I called Anthony at NYM, He was out of town and not available but did call me back the next day. I immediately informed him that I had used another company, Despite this we spoke for quite a while as I explained my air-conditioning difficulties from the prior day. He listened, was courteous, provided informative feedback and offered his services for any future needs. We were disconnected during the call and he called back immediately. I also solicited some additional advice noting past problems with my unit, He suggested I take a few photos of the components and forward to him for review. This will be done in the next few days. That is the complete story, I wanted to share a pleasant experience regarding his professionalism knowing I will certainly be contacting Anthony for any future issues. I will add he definitely deserves 5 stars just for the time he devoted to listening and answering any question I asked.
I called Anthony and asked if he repairs AC, he said No but he asked if I wanted to FaceTime to help me look at the issue — we were on the phone for 10 minutes together as he helped me troubleshoot! We weren't successful but he referred me to another business, so I have a lead for where to turn next. I am so grateful for Anthony's generosity and kindness!

Thank you! New York Mechanical Heating & Cooling. Very knowledgeable, professional, courteous & punctual. Anthony was kind enough to explain all the steps of his work in Leyman’s term, he checked the amount of refrigerant in the outside condenser that appeared to be very low. Anthony identified a possible leak and he used a UV leak sealer to seal the leak. Said it’s a 50/50 chance it will seal the leak if it is a small one, added refrigerant to the unit and even used a cool laser thermostat to check the temperature of the air. The temperature in my house immediately started to cool down. I am very thankful and highly recommend their services.
I highly recommend this company! I incidentally found Anthony at New York Mechanical Heating & Air through our home warranty company. The issue with our Mitsubishi mini split (wasn't getting cold in the living room) wasn't covered by the warranty as maintenance and cleaning isn't covered. And oh boy did the unit need a cleaning! It was so skeevatz inside the unit! But Mr. Anthony handled it wonderfully! In fact, I noticed such an immediate difference in the unit, that by the time he finished his paperwork I had to make arrangements with him to tend to the other units in the house at a later point in time! I must say as well, that he is incredibly helpful, even to those that don't ultimately schedule service with him. I heard him talking with a woman who called about a window AC unit, trying to troubleshoot her issue with her. And..... he was nice to my cats! Lol! That always wins bonus points with me!
Our central a/c unit gave up the ghost - it was 14 years old, so no surprise - so we called Anthony at NY Mechanical. He replaced the unit as well as the furnace (also 14 years old and worn out) promptly and courteously. Excellent work and first-rate follow-up when the a/c's refrigerant needed topping up. Recommend highly.
Anthony and his team were wonderful. We shopped around and got quotes, but we quickly realized New York Mechanical Heating & Cooling was the most competitive. We were given an opening for installation within 2 weeks. The project was completed within 2 days. Anthony and his team were very professional. They were on time; they did not create a mess and they cleaned up the entire worksite upon completion thoroughly. These guys even worked through the rain-they were amazing. After the installation was complete, Anthony tested out the system and we checked every single vent. We are very impressed and extremely satisfied with the quality of work they delivered. I highly recommend their services and we look forward to working with them again on another property.
I walked into my house on a Sunday night, my heat was set to 70, but my house was at 63°! I went into the basement to find my furnace buzzing. I went on a site to find emergency repair service. This company was the only one to pick up and COME OUT in the same day. He said my blower motor was bad on a 20+ year old unit, but Anthony gave us OPTIONS. He didn't seem like he was trying to get over on us and he said he could replace the motor but since the unit was so old, something else might break in the near future. I hesitantly asked how much he thought it would cost and his quote for a new furnace PLUS CENTRAL AIR was BETTER than another company's quote for central air alone! He scheduled me for service the same week, because we were without heat.. said it would be a 2 day job, which it was. He and his guys showed up on time, they walked us through what their plan was, they worked diligently, cleaned up any mess they made.. now our heat is working GREAT and I can't wait to use my brand new central air instead of having to put window units in next month. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company for any of your HVAC/AC needs!! Very professional and FAIR, something you just don't find much anymore these days.

New York Mechanical Heating & Air is a great company to do business with. Anthony is an honorable businessman that performed the repairs needed on my furnace for a third of what a different company quoted. The repairs were completed expeditiously with genuine parts from the manufacturer. I requested the military discount and after submitting verification Anthony honored it without hesitation. I support companies that honor our veterans and the furnace is running great !
Anthony was wonderful. Very patient with all our questions and took his time making sure everything was in good order and making suggestions about how to keep our HVAC running well. Highly recommend.
Called with a problem with my ac and same day they came and fixed it along with a part I didn’t even no I needed work was fast and amazing so polite would highly recommend them to anyone who needs any help or has any questions thank you again best company ever

Called NY Mechanical for an estimate on duct work. Anthony did a 30 minute inspection of the furnace and ducts/vents. Air intake vents were blocked did some light cleaning and adjusted the fan speed on the furnace now the air flow is pushing the heat much better. Will definitely use NY Mechanical for any future issues!
