I've had New Life put in my whole entire AC system. My natural gas heating system. Done lots of plumbing. New Life has installed a custom shower from Onyx Collection and done a full bathroom remodel complete tear down and remodel. I was not referred to them by AHS.

Like others, I was assigned this company by AHS to repair a radiator that would not come on. Someone came out and said it needs a new valve and they would come back with it. No word for a week +, then they came back with a valve that was the wrong size. Said they would come back with right size. After waiting for another week (with no heat in our bedroom), AHS said they had to order the part and would then come back to repair my radiator. It has now been 2 MONTHS without heat during which I was completely ghosted by this company and even AHS could not get a hold of them and kept saying I had to wait for them to come out. I am now having to find my own contractor to fix our heat. Totally useless and unprofessional company.

Called AHS mid August. Well here it is almost Halloween and I still don’t have functioning air. No communication throughout the process for weeks at a time. Took 2 weeks to get the first response after the order was placed for work. First diagnosis was a wrong part ordered and wrong problem diagnosed. Completely unacceptable to wait over 2 months for a repair. I’m not sure how this company still has a contract with AHS.

My home warranty company (American Home Shield) assigned this contractor for my HVAC not cooling problem on 05/03/2022. The contractor guy (Marcus) came the next day and filled up Freon which he identified as the problem. It didn't fix the problem so I reopened the service request with my home warranty company. The contractor came again and took pictures of the system. He told me I will get an email from AHS directly telling me about my options on repair or replace. It has been almost a month now and I have been calling AHS and this contractor regularly to get an update. AHS is telling me that the diagnosis report was not submitted by this contractor and they have sent a field agent to trace him. They cannot do anything unless they hear back from them. Honestly, I don't know who is lying here - AHS or NewLife Contracting LLC. Unless I speak with the Contractor, I have no way of knowing. I have also submitted a BBB complaint today against AHS for not resolving my issue for one month or even trying to assign me a new contractor to fix my problem specially in the hot weather.

NLC has completed 3 major plumbing jobs in my home over the past 4 years. I am still very happy with the quality of their work and will definitely call them again. This is an update of the following review and am pleased to say my view of them has not changed. Again I recommend them without reservation! ............. I was initially introduced to NLC, Colby and Ben through a home warranty company and they did a terrific job. I found them to be completely reliable. So much so, that when I had a different plumbing issue come up 2 years later, I knew who to call. They completed about a week ago and I am very happy with the work done. They offered options which I really appreciate. I will definitely call them again. I recommend them without hesitation!

I had Colby and his team install a new gas furnace and central air system including new ductwork in a recent renovation. This was a challenging house given the location of both furnace and the ductwork. I have done many whole house renovations and have worked with several different HVAC contractors. Colby and his guys took pride in the installation. The way they ran the ducting and other components showed a level of craftsmanship and attention to detail I have not seen in years.

We were assigned NLC thru our home warranty. They were entirely unresponsive - I contacted them twice in the first week after placing a service request thru my home warranty, but no reply. The home warranty then reached out to NLC and NLC told them they would contact me before the end of the day. A couple days later I get a text message at 11pm saying that the contractor would be at my house between 8-12. You need to give more notice than 9 hours! I responded saying that time would not work and asked the contractor to call me directly to schedule a mutually convenient time. No call, more texting and we agreed on a day/time approx a week away. The night before the scheduled appointment at 1030pm, I get another text. The contractor "forgot" about my appointment and had booked other customers during my scheduled time...can I reschedule? I said no, I was scheduled first...ask them to reschedule. Someone did show up. It took about 5 minutes to fix my AC unit. Here is the thing. This could have easily been a 5 star review - when a customer calls and leaves you a voice mail asking for a call back, call them back within 24 hours. Its basic customer service.

This company is RIDICULOUS. Our home warranty dispatched a request to them to come fix our boiler... they quoted us time wise between 8-12... never showed. Ben Greco’s truck broke down (the HVAC tech) and although he let my husband know.. they no longer planned to come out or could advise us as to when they would come out. Day 3 without heat. My husband conveyed this to me when he got home and I called & left a VM expressing my concern and that I needed answers and instead of calling us back they simply texted my husband and canceled the appointment. WHAT A JOKE. It gets better - I called our home warranty company and they were able to get a hold of them immediately and they said they had been calling us all day and leaving voicemails which was a total lie. No calls received or voicemails. Then we got the cancelation text. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

Our home warranty service used this company when our A/C wasn't keeping up this past Summer. The first confirmed service call came and went without so much as a text as to why nobody showed up. I was told we had been booked but not put onto the schedule. I figured I'd give them one more chance and after waiting at home with a 3 year old for the entire day the technician calls ten minutes before the end of the window to say he's on his way. Our A/C unit is in the attic and the tech never even went up to lay hands on it....he was on the phone the whole time with someone else who was giving him advice on it as he peeked at it from a ladder. Long story longer, he tells me our unit is old and we need to add more insulation and ductwork in order to get it to really function well. Hmmmm....funny that the next company that came out had the A/C functioning like a dream in twenty minutes.

Ac unit went out.. we have a home warranty that we are going through . This company sets up a scheduled time and then they don’t show up .. very unprofessional and do not answer or return phone calls .. if we we’re coming out of pocket for this repair I would never use this company .. no communication and poor service .. would give 0 stars if I could ..
