Patrick, Mike and Angel from New England SteamWorks did a great job removing extremely heavy cast iron radiators from my house for stripping and refinishing. They arrived on time, got right to work, and carefully protected our living quarters. After that, they went to my church where they assessed our two steam heating systems. Again, they worked expeditiously and came up with solid recommendations for work needing to be done. I'm grateful to have found a company with real capacity to deal with steam heating systems.

My first time working with this company. I was so impressed with Evan and his team on how knowledgeable they were. They checked the entire steam heating system out and made adjustments and repairs so the system now works efficiently and without the knocking noises that plagued the property for 20 years. I also learned more about taking care of my steam heating system in one visit than all the previous services combined. Such a great experience!
Evan and his crew were on time, worked efficiently, and were helpful in answering questions about maintaining our 1yr old steam boiler. We love our steam radiated heat! We are very happy with Steamworks services.
These guys were great. Worked clean and quiet. They were very professional and courteous. Did everything they said and more. Job was billed as quoted even though I think they spent more time than expect.
My steam heat was a mess. I thought I knew what was needed. Thank goodness Patrick didn’t listen to me. He identified the root cause and after correcting that, he only had to replace 1 valve and a few vents. I dreaded having this done, but it was a fraction of the cost I expected and the work was completed in about 2-1/2 hours. Highly recommend New England SteamWorks!
NE Steamworks came to evaluate my heating system and give me a sense of what we would need to do to balance our radiators as the 2nd floor of our house does not really have heat in the winter. While our boiler was newly installed 18 months ago, the system itself is at least 50 years old. Patrick, our tech, wasn't here even 5 minutes before he recognized that our water auto-feed was wired completely incorrectly. We had bypassed it and were just checking the system water level weekly because when was on, it would cause the heater to kick off. This was something the company that installed the boiler couldn't figure out. Patrick walked us through how the system worked and proceeded to get 4 of our 2nd floor radiators which previously did not heat up working. This relatively short and simple evaluation visit was pretty impressive. I will definitely be booking NE Steamworks for our annual cleaning and to do some work they recommended. Thanks!

I'm the new owner of a building with a steam heat system and didn't know much at all about it. The inspection visit that I got taught me so much about the system and gave me a great understanding of the condition it is in and what the future maintenance needs might be.
The experience was great for my steam boiler maintenance. They explained what they were doing and suggested improvements to my system. I would highly recommend them.

Came within the window of time they gave for arrival. Got a text letting me know the technician was on his way with an ETA and a way to track the technician in case of traffic which I didn't use but was nice to have available. The technician Mike was courteous and well mannered. He showed that he was very knowledgeable in steam systems. Took the time to explain what was right about my system and what was not standard and how that could effect it's efficiency and longevity. Explained what I would need to do in the future when the boiler stopped working. He advocated for his company by explaining their advantages without having to disparage other companies. This is refreshing because the quality of work and dedication should get you repeat business, not having to belittle anyone else. I will definitely use them again and can not say enough good things about them. As I was writing this I saw the technician talking to my neighbor across the street and I had to go out in a good word.
NE Steamworks consistently has helped managed and troubleshoot my steam systems in multiple units. On top of balancing our radiators, they helped me understand my boiler systems (especially old Millivolt) and taught me how to maintain them. They go above and beyond to explain what they’re doing, how and why it’s the best for your steam system. Always the first people I call.

Steamworks uninstalled my radiators, and refurbished and reinstalled them. The radiators came out great. The service was outstanding, Patrick and his partner were very thorough when reinstalling the radiators. They were both knowledgeable and customer orientated.

Great service. Evan did the maintenance and explain to me how the system works and think to check and put attention ok and what to do if something happens very clearly. Also Patrick did an excellent job, overall great service!
Patrick arrived as expected from the ETA we were provided via text. He was very nice and professional. Got the work done quickly and gave us an overview of what he completed. We’re happy customers!
On time, professional, worked quickly and throughly and left no mess behind. Fixed a small leak with a simple gasket swap during maintenance when a prior company wanted to charge hours of labor plus parts. They made a few recommendations on potential system improvements (venting, insulation) without any sales pressure.
Had an issue with my auto-feed system. Scheduled an appointment and they were promptly on time. Very polite, very courteous. They troubleshooted problem, gave me informed options and then promptly did they’re work and cleaned up afterwords. Highly recommend.
