Install appt. was scheduled for July 3. Everyone was very respectful. They were attentive and listened. They did not have the condenser, so they did as much as they could and set up a return to finish the job on July 5, just in time for the heat wave! Highly Recommended! Ask for Michael as the install lead! Units are working perfectly - Thanks New England Ductless!!
I can't say enough good things about the work that Chris, Morechine, Josh, Aiden and Kaleb did when installing central air and cooling in our house. Chris in particular was stellar - he removed bushes required to set in our heat pumps and when we had to add a new unit suddenly he helped get a project manager to assess the options and do installation that same day. Everyone in the crew was professional, kind and friendly to work with. Will most certainly be recommending their services to anyone needing HVAC work done on their house
Beyond frustrating. Came on the wrong days, came at the wrong times, left messes, poor poor communication, not knowledgeable on the systems installed, multiple teams sent out to correct installation issues… just really really frustrating.
New England Ductless lives up to every bit of their reputation in the area. They helped us install an LG mini split system in our home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again. I've seen ads for them on Google and Youtube, and they're every bit as authentic to work with as they are polished in their advertisements. I was very impressed by the turnaround time on quotes, scheduling and workmanship. It was under 3 weeks from initial in-house meeting to the install date, which is incredible in today's market. Artur was friendly, professional and astutely diligent to our needs. It felt like working with a designer when it came to selecting options for our home. We knew that it could be challenging as we live in a split level, but he worked with us on a few different quotes, which turned around quickly at a very reasonable price, especially these days. Mike and team arrived on site as expected and got to work right away. They worked with us on final placement of the units and some fine tuning of the locations that worked with our home. They were very pleasant and patient with us. All said and done, the outdoor condenser and two indoor head units were installed in under 5 hours, which is just so much faster than I expected. As an added bonus, they worked with us every step of the way on the MA heat loan, giving us contacts that they trust, working through with me over the phone and even doing the check pick-up at my house!
UPDATE: Reducing my rating (hopefully temporarily) because it seems they may have undersized my system. Let's hope they stand by their work. Original review: New England Ductless does solid work and has many knowledgeable and skilled employees. Like any company, they make mistakes. What sets them apart from so many others is they are responsive to issues and make things right in the end.
Alex was a very responsive and knowledgeable tech who worked with me (homeowner) to resolve a difficult issue with our LG A/C unit.
The team did a great job. On time every day. Good communication. They even went around with magic erasers when finished to make sure everything was tidy. Overall great experience!

New England Ductless replaced our old system with heat pumps - Chris, Aiden, Mike and Brian were capable, diligent and friendly. Chris and the electrician did a great job adapting to our house situation, communicating what was going on, and working hard to get it ready and running. Thank you!
Units were cleaned and serviced. The HVAC Technician was very professional and did a great job.
Do not use this company for heat pump installation. Company failed to order the heat pump as agreed which caused more than a month delay in installation. They notified us of this error 3 days prior to the planned week-long installation They attempted to bait and switch, pressuring us to use another vendor heat pump because that's what they had in stock. Administration cited human error, which indicates a failure of checks and balances to ensure projects go as planned. The salesperson indicated that the heat pump would be installed on the foundation but when the technician arrived to install it they said this was not possible, and it had to be installed in a different location, indicating the salesperson does not have adequate technical expertise to be selling heat pumps. The salesperson indicated a two-zone ducting system would be installed, however when the company contracted a third party to install the ductwork, a two-zone system was not installed. The heat pump did not work on initial install and required us to take a 6th day off work in order for a technician to come out and troubleshoot. Company administration provided misinformation regarding rebates in place for these products. The company was sold to a larger business sometime in the last year or so. An acknowledging a series of errors the company agreed to cover our $10,000 rebate until it was paid by the state. The current manager (there is no specific owner available to address customer concerns) stated he is trying to "right a sinking ship". Finally during the cold snap, heat was insufficient to keep the house above 57°. Upon calling the company they informed us that they had failed to install the electrical backup strip. They had not informed us of this at all until this point. This required a seventh day (8 hour installation) of our time off work in order to have the electrical strip installed. Mini splits were installed a few years ago, and they have been game-changers. This summer we had maintenance. Shortly afterwards one of the units, which has a pump to drain condensation was clogged causing a leak. Crew was here first thing the next morning and fixed everything. Very pleased. Edit July 12, 2022. We just had mini splits installed on in another unit in the house. Wonderful company. Also had the existing units cleaned and serviced. One unit had a pump that was not working properly. The tech figured a way to not need the pump, installed the condensate outlet and ultimately rewired the unit, which was required because of removing the pump. All of the NE Ductless technicians and electricians were professional, thorough and personable. Highly recommend. Edit May 22, 2023. Just had annual inspection/cleaning. Alex performed this and then came back for a cleaning of the blower brushes in one of the units. Again, very professional and respectful service. Recommend highly.
Davidson was professional and made sure that I always knew what was going on. The whole team was polite, careful of my home, and worked hard. When I had questions before the installation, I always got a prompt response. I recommend them highly.
This company is incredibly professional, from the initial communications, scheduling, the actual work and then billing. Everything gets emailed, appointment confirmations arrive via SMS, a delight to work with.
I needed a partial replacement and an extension of a 10 years old mini-split install. I turned to New England Ductless having seen them as certified Mitsubishi installers, which I had learnt to trust as heat pump equipment. I was impressed by New England Ductless processes when coordinating the survey visit and the creation of the offer. The price was right too, so I had confidence in their abilities to do the work required. They were able to offer the installation less than 2 weeks from my order, and the installation went by without a hitch. The ductwork installed on the outside walls is a celebration of craftsmanship. It was better thought out than I could've imagined beforehand. Excellent job from beginning to end!
Excellent service from start to finish! My technician Marlon Francis was knowledgeable, kind, clean, and precise. Handsome too! I would highly recommend them if looking for mini-splits.
Everyone we came in contact with at New England Ductless went above and beyond all aspects of the steps involved in the installation of 2 different heat pump set ups, one ducted, one non-ducted. The installers were very professional and respectful, making sure we understood all aspects of the install as well as running our new heat pump systems. I would highly recommend them
Chris and Aiden from New England Ductless did a fantastic job in installing a low static ducted unit in the attic, a wall-mounted ductless unit in the living room and an outdoor condenser. There were a couple of minor mishaps during the installation process, which they reported and addressed immediately. They were very collaborative and accommodating in the placement of the vents and return, as well as running all lines and pipes from both indoor units under the same outside cover. They have also cleaned after themselves at the end of every day. Albeit the project took a little bit longer than anticipated, I am very happy with the final results and would use New England Ductless again.
